With a roar, the largest of the wolves rush at him, its razor sharp fangs bared in a deadly growl.

In an instant, Lu Shen's speed increased dramatically. He dashed towards the wolf, his movements a blur. As he closed the distance, he activated another skill.
"Inferno Strike!"
His fist burst into flames, the fire fueled by his spiritual energy. He swung it with all his might, sending a blazing arc of fire toward the huge, bloody wolf. Sensing the deadly threat, the wolf leader grabbed a subordinate by the head and threw it into the Lu Shen attack.
"Boom!"
The inferno strike hit the subordinate wolf, killing it instantly. Yet, the leader, as if nothing had happened, continued to rush towards Lu Shen.
The massive wolf snorted and attacked Lu Shen, each clash between them sending shockwaves through the air.
Lu Shen felt the pain in all of his muscles and wounds of wolf's claws marked across his body, but he refused to back down. he than activated another bloodline skill.
"Wood Bind!"
Vines erupted from the ground, wrapping around the wolf's legs and body, momentarily restraining it. Taking advantage of the wolf's momentary immobilization, Lu Shen gathered his remaining spiritual energy.
"Inferno Strike!"
Once again, his fist covered with flames. As the huge wolf struggled against the vines, Lu Shen swung his fiery fist, burning flesh and fur as it struck the wolf's body.
"Whistle!"
"Boom!"
"Howl!"
The massive wolf howled in pain as the flames seared its flesh. Despite its strong body of rank 1 demon beast, it could not withstand the combined force of Lu Shen's bloodline skills. The wolf's movements slowed, and with a final, powerful strike, Lu Shen finally finish it.
"Howl!"
The leader of the wolf pack let out one last, mournful howl before collapsing to the ground.
The beast howled in agony, its eyes red with the desire to devour Lu Shen alive. However, due to the massive loss of blood, its vitality seeped out of its body and it took one last breath before collapsing.
After the giant wolf collapsed to the ground, lifeless, seeing their leader dead the remaining wolves hesitated, then fled into the forest.
Lu Shen breath heavily to control his breath.
"Do you think running can spare your life?"
After saying that, Lu Shen rushed toward the fleeing wolves and began killing as many as he could.

"These wolves were no match for me" he thought, wiping the sweat and blood from his fist and body.

"What happened? Speak quickly" Tangsu Ming frowned and look at Chu Chu, one of his lackeys.
"Boss, you should check the leaderboard"
Chu Chu said, avoiding Tangsu Ming's gaze because he knew his boss was going to get really mad this time.
Tangsu Ming's face twisted as he sensed something bad was about to happen when he saw his name in fourth place, with only 70 points. He clenched his fists in frustration.
"Fourth place? Unacceptable" Tangsu Ming shouted gritting his teeth.
"I refuse believe that trash is first place, he must have cheated"
His other lackey, named Liang, approached him slowly, seeing his boss's red with anger.
"Boss, it's just one competition. There will be other chances. We'll show them who's truly the best."
Tangsu Ming's lips curled into a sneer,
"You think this is about one competition? This is about dominance, Liang. And I won't rest until I prove that I am the strongest, the most formidable, so that other top universities can take me more seriously. Now, gather our things. We're leaving"
With a nod, Liang and the others hurried to obey Tangsu Ming's command, knowing that Tangsu Ming was angry and that if they did something wrong, they might get punished.
"Send a message to the others to find out where Lu Shen is and if they can kill him" he said with an angry face.
Meanwhile, the other top ten participants reacted differently upon seeing the leaderboard.
Wang Mei, who had secured third place, glanced at the scoreboard.
"Well, who is this Lu Shen? He must be strong to get 650 points in such a short time"
She felt curiosity and admiration toward Lu Shen, someone she didn't even know, which showed that he wasn't popular in the academy. Yet, despite that, he secured first place, which only increased her curiosity about him.
Chen Liang, who had placed fifth was not satisfy by the result.

Liu Fang, in sixth place, turned to her teammates.

In the room where teachers monitoring the progress of the students,
Each teacher sat before a screen displaying the positions and points of the their class student.
Teacher Lu Lu, the teacher from Class A, leaned back in her chair, her eyes scanning the screen with a thoughtful expression.
"You know, I have high hopes for Wang Mei"
she was proud of her student and she was specially glaring at teacher Tang.
"she's always been a standout student, and I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up at the top of the leaderboard."
Beside her, Teacher Tang shrugged his shoulders, he was aware of what she was telling him with those glares. Even so, he nodded in agreement.
However, he did not back down from Lu Lu's provocative gaze.
"Maybe in the past your class might have gotten higher places, but not this time"
His gaze glued to the screen displaying Fang Yue's progress and he continued
"And let's not forget about Feng Yue from my class. She's a force to be reckoned with and there's also Tangsu Ming. You all know he is from the Tang Clan"

The teachers from classes C and D were whispering to each other nodding their head in agreement.

"Lu Shen comes from a humble background. He's quite poor, so he doesn't have access to the same resources as some of his peers, But this i don't know" Teacher tang shook his head at teacher looking at him.
Supervisor Lin nodded in understanding. Lu Shen's achievements, despite coming from a humble background, were quite surprising to him, but since he didn't know much about Lu Shen, he did not comment further.

But before Teacher Tang could continue, the class A teacher interjected,
