Synopsis
In the year 2025, humanity bore witness to an event that would forever alter the course of its history. It began suddenly, without warning. Across every corner of the world, the skies darkened as a strange, otherworldly substance entered Earth's atmosphere. Like molten embers against the night, it burned crimson and tore through the stratosphere, falling upon cities, mountains, deserts, and oceans in a shower of scarlet rain. To those who saw it, the phenomenon was unlike anything they had ever known, beautiful yet unnervingly ominous. For days, the air seemed to shimmer with an unnatural energy, and the red-hued particles clung to every surface, seeping into the earth, flowing into rivers, and saturating the very ground people walked on. This substance would come to be known as the SS Virus, a silent invader whose true nature was masked by the passing days. Initially, it seemed harmless, a peculiar mystery that prompted whispers among scientists and sparked wonder in the public. But as time marched on, humanity would come to understand the terrible implications of this new presence on Earth. Soon earth entered it's apocalyptic stage and humans and beasts alike mutated, breaking their natural limits 100 times over. Beasts developed high intelligence higher than that of normal humans and had developed one main mission, kill humanity.Humanity however wouldn't fall that easily and rose as warriors. This was the begining, The Clash Of Man and Beasts.

Chapter 1 - 1;Kang Asuna

The blaring sound of the alarm clock shattered the silence of Kang Asuna's small room, its persistent beeping pulling him from the depths of sleep. With a groggy hand, he reached out, fumbling for the offending device until his fingers finally found the button. The sudden quiet enveloped him, but the tranquility was fleeting. The familiar pull of the day's responsibilities beckoned him.

Kang pushed himself up from the bed, his limbs heavy with fatigue. The sheets were tangled around his legs, a chaotic reminder of a restless night. As he swung his feet onto the cool, hardwood floor, he let out a small sigh, feeling the chill awaken his senses. The air in his room was tinged with the faint scent of dust and stale memories, mingling with the promise of a new day.

He shuffled over to the window, his bare feet silent against the worn floorboards. With a gentle tug, he pulled the heavy curtains aside, allowing the golden sunlight to flood into the room. It spilled across the walls and illuminated the clutter of his belongings—textbooks stacked precariously, crumpled papers scattered about, and a worn-out backpack waiting for the day's journey.

Outside, the city sprawled beneath him, a testament to resilience and decay. Towering buildings, a mixture of steel and concrete, reached skyward, their facades marred by time. Some windows were cracked or missing, while others reflected the sunlight in a dazzling display of fractured brilliance. Despite their weathered appearance, these structures stood tall, enduring the harsh realities of urban life. The streets below were lined with small shops, their faded signs a testament to better days, while broken streetlights flickered, stubbornly fighting against their own deterioration.

As he leaned against the window frame, Kang absorbed the scene before him. People moved through the streets, their hurried footsteps echoing against the pavement, some chatting animatedly, others lost in their thoughts. He watched as an elderly woman struggled with heavy bags, her frail figure bent against the weight of the world. Nearby, a group of children played, laughter rising like music, a brief glimpse of innocence amidst the surrounding chaos.

Kang closed his eyes for a moment, letting the sun warm his face, the light igniting a flicker of hope within him. But the fleeting moment passed, and he turned away from the window, the burdens of reality settling back onto his shoulders. He moved toward the bathroom, ready to begin the day in earnest.

After quickly changing into a comfortable t-shirt, he stepped into the small bathroom. The cool tiles sent a shiver up his spine as he turned on the shower. The water, initially cold, quickly transformed into a soothing cascade that enveloped him. He allowed the water to wash over him, the steam rising to fill the air with warmth and the sound of cascading droplets becoming a sanctuary for his racing thoughts.

As he stood beneath the spray, he let his mind wander. The pressure of impending exams loomed over him, a relentless shadow threatening to engulf him. He couldn't shake the feeling of anxiety tightening around his chest. But for now, in this moment of solitude, the water washed away his worries, if only for a little while. He took a deep breath, letting the warmth seep into his bones, reminding him that he was still alive, still moving forward despite the uncertainties ahead.

Once he felt sufficiently awake, Kang shut off the shower and dried himself off. He stood in front of the mirror, water droplets cascading down the glass, obscuring his reflection. When the mist cleared, he faced himself, a young man with messy black hair that fell just above his intense dark eyes. His features were sharp yet softened by the traces of youth, hinting at a determination that lay just beneath the surface. With a slight shake of his head, he pulled on his school uniform, the crisp fabric providing a sense of normalcy in an otherwise chaotic world.

He glanced at the clock, its hands ticking steadily, each second pulling him closer to the day's obligations. With a sigh, he grabbed his backpack, slinging it over his shoulder, the weight a familiar burden. As he opened the door to leave his room, the comforting scent of breakfast wafted through the air, wrapping around him like a warm embrace.

"Good morning, big brother!" came the cheerful voice of his younger brother, Hong, as he sat at the small dining table, his face lit up with a smile that brought a mix of warmth and sadness to Kang's heart.

Kang's smile faltered slightly as he took in the sight of Hong, his small frame hunched over a plate, meticulously picking at his breakfast. "Good morning to you too, Hong," he replied, his voice steady but filled with an underlying sorrow that he tried to mask.

As he approached the table, he noticed the spread before Hong: a generous serving of fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and warm slices of bread. The sight brought a flicker of comfort, a reminder of their father's love. With a quick movement, Kang sat beside his brother, the chair creaking softly under him.

"This is good," Kang said, his voice warm as he opened his own bowl. Inside, the food was perfectly arranged, as if crafted with care—a small oasis amidst their struggles, and took a huge bite out of it.

"Right?" Hong beamed, his eyes shining with happiness as he took another bite, the simple joy of a good meal lighting up his face.

Kang couldn't help but smile back, but the warmth faded as he noticed the way Hong's gaze fell to the table, shadows creeping into his bright demeanor. The memory of their father's constant absence weighed heavily on both their hearts, a silence that loomed like a specter at the edges of their lives.

"Oh, Dad went out early again, didn't he?" Kang asked, glancing around the table as if hoping to see their father walk through the door at any moment.

"Yeah," Hong replied, his heart tightening at the truth of it. Their father's departure had become an all-too-familiar routine, one that Kang struggled to accept. He could see the disappointment flicker across Hong's face, the innocence of childhood mixing with the weight of reality.

"I guess so," kang murmured, his voice barely above a whisper as he focused on his food, a hint of sadness overshadowing his earlier excitement.

Kang's fists tightened involuntarily at the reminder of their father's constant absence. "Hey, what is it?" Hong asked, his voice laced with concern, sensing Kang's shift in mood.

"Nothing," Kang snapped, quickly masking his frustration with a smile. "Just stressed about my exam, that's all." He didn't want to burden his brother with the weight of his worries, not when Hong had his own challenges to face.

"Don't worry! I know you're going to pass, big brother!" Hong's unwavering faith in him was a small beacon of hope, a reminder that even in the darkest times, there was still light.

"Thanks, Hong," Kang replied, his heart swelling with gratitude at his brother's innocent encouragement.

Kang stood up, grabbing his backpack and swinging it over his shoulder. He looked down at Hong, who was still focused on his breakfast. "Well, I'm going now. Make sure you don't let anyone else in, okay?"

"Okay!" Hong nodded enthusiastically, the innocence of his trust providing a bittersweet ache in Kang's chest.

"Stay put, alright? I'll take you out as soon as I'm back," Kang reassured him, his voice steady despite the storm brewing within him.

"Yes, brother," Hong replied, his voice brightening slightly, a reminder of their bond amidst the chaos of their lives.

With a final smile, Kang left the room, the door clicking shut behind him. The narrow hallway was dimly lit, the walls lined with peeling paint and faded photographs that told stories of a past life. As he descended the rugged stairs of their building, the sound of his footsteps echoed, each step heavy with thoughts swirling in his mind.
