Chapter 11 - Chapter 11(V1 C12, C13)

(Recap)

After a lot of traveling I finally reached the Nara compound, where the remaining family awaited. The gate creaked open, and I stepped forward, the weight of the child heavy in my arms. I'd be leaving soon, once this task was done. I had no business lingering, no matter how curious I was about what would become of this baby. Itto, they would call him. The child whose family died protecting him before he even took his first breath.

I handed him over, and as I did, I couldn't help but glance at him one last time. He was so small, so helpless. Despite all I knew, despite everything I'd witnessed in my years, a part of me couldn't help but wonder—could he be different? Could he prove me wrong?

Too bad probably I'd never be around to find out

(Itto Heizo's Pov)

As I absorbed the gravity of Ojjisan's story, a wave of emotion washed over me. It wasn't just the tale of survival and sacrifice; it was my legacy. The room felt charged with energy, and I could see the pride and love in the eyes of my family. I felt tears pricking at the corners of my eyes, joining those of the others around me. I promised them, and myself, that I would uphold our ideals and carve my own path as a ninja. Their sacrifices weren't just stories—they were the foundation of my purpose. And now, this ability... this burden, it was my own path to carry.

But the moment didn't linger long before it shifted focus. Jiji and Ojjisan, with their endless wisdom, turned their attention to me and said,

"That's enough about that. Now how about telling your Ojjisan the problem you are facing. He might not look it, but he too was once a strong figure," Jiji said, smirking at Ojjisan before turning back to me.

Ojjisan, perhaps deciding to become sportive or more concerned about me—or maybe just seeing it for what it was, a 'change of subject to save face so they wouldn't start crying as men'—decided to entertain him and asked me, "Ho, our Itto is facing problems?"

"Yeah... I—" Before I could continue, Obaasan grabbed Sobo and went towards the kitchen.

"Bahh, you guys can talk about chakra. Yukiho and I need to catch up and cook while we do it. It's been too long since I had her tasty, delicious onigiri, and I happen to have the ingredients just here." Throwing those words at us, the ever-Akimichi grandma struck again, with Sobo following her with eyes full of mirth.

The other two looked at each other with exasperated smiles before turning their attention back to me. I was aware that I had a unique condition—one that separated my yin and yang chakra, a fact that was both intriguing and daunting.

"Let's see what we're working with," Ojjisan said, his tone both serious and encouraging. They guided me to a quiet corner of the room, where they began to examine my chakra. I closed my eyes and focused inward, trying to feel the energies swirling within me.

"Most people can use chakra naturally and passively once unlocked," Ojjisan explained, his brow furrowed in concentration. "But you... you're different. You have to actively engage with it."

I nodded, feeling the separation of the energies—the yin I couldn't really control clearly but I could feel it, and the yang, warm and bright in my body. I struggled to grasp the idea of mixing them; it felt like trying to hold water in one hand and oil in the other with only bare hands—slippery and elusive.

"Here, let me show you," Ojjisan said, and before I could react, he performed the mind switch technique. In an instant, I felt my consciousness shift, watching as Ojjisan took control of my body.

The sensation was jarring. I could feel every muscle move, every breath I took—yet none of it was under my control. It was as though I had become an observer in my own body, a passenger in this strange journey.

"What—" I started, but he quickly calmed me.

"Just observe, Itto. This technique isn't just for battles; it can also be a powerful teaching tool."

I watched in awe as he guided my body through the motions of mixing my chakra. I could see the way he drew upon the yin and yang, now my feel for yin becoming clearer. He was drawing in both of them at the same time, rotating them both in the same direction, but the yang was moving in a clockwise direction in my stomach and the yin in an anticlockwise direction in my mind. The complexity of the process was astounding, and I felt a mixture of excitement and fear. I could also feel all of my senses, yet my body wasn't mine to control.

Damm, I never thought this jutsu could be used like this! To control someone else's body so we can show them how something is done or teach them something is pure genius. As I started this line of though ojjisan's voice reverbing in my mind brought me back to the task at land.

"It's all about balance," Ojjisan said, focusing intently. "You have to feel the energies, let them become one."

As he worked, I sensed a sudden shift within my mind. Ojjisan's chakra felt like a guide, leading me deeper into my own subconscious. I was amazed at how this dangerous jutsu could also be a bridge to understanding. As we descended deeper, images began to form in my brainspace. At first, they were blurry and vague—faint outlines that resembled neurons, glowing softly like constellations in the night sky. But as we moved deeper, they became sharper, forming intricate pathways and tunnels. It was as though my mind had turned into a vast, sprawling maze of light and energy. The image of a glowing neural network expanded around us, illuminating the roads and passages like the streets of an ancient city. It felt both familiar and alien.

Suddenly, Ojjisan stopped dead in his tracks, with me in tow—a natural mind fortress nestled within the recesses of my mind.

"What is this?" he muttered, more to himself than to me. The fortress was unlike anything I had ever seen, its walls shimmering with a faint glow. I felt a surge of curiosity, wondering if this was a manifestation of my unique chakra condition.

"This is... interesting," Ojjisan continued, even as he worked my body. "It's a... hmm, I'll need to do some research in the clan libraries soon... hmm..."

"What is it?" I asked, feeling a little scared of what it meant.

"Let it be for now. It is not dangerous and is, in fact, a good thing. It might even be the thing that gives you an edge in the future. But that comes later. Now, back to the matter at hand."

He focused back on mixing the yin and yang chakra within me, and I watched in awe as he demonstrated how to create a balance between them. For the first time, I felt a connection, the energies starting to blend in a way I had never managed before.

Then, something sparked at the point where they made contact! Something blue. Something that felt like the thing I had been waiting for my whole life. Then, suddenly, he controlled that blue energy and spread it all over my body. For the first time in this life, I felt something truly insane, cementing my entry into this world. It felt like... the only way to describe it would be that it felt like I had a sugar high, caffeine high, taffine high, and steroid high, grass high and all the other highs mixed into one crazy bag at once.

After what felt like an eternity where I was floating in infinite energy, my body adapted to the energy, and the high ended. Ojjisan withdrew, returning control to me.

"Hahaha , that was the first time I saw someone experience yin and yang chakra first in their life before normal chakra. It made your body somewhat sensitive to normal chakra, hence the crazy feeling, which even I got through to me. Don't worry; it will feel normal once you get used to regular chakra."

"Now it's your turn" he said, and I could feel his presence still lingering, guiding me.

I took a deep breath, focusing on the sensation of my chakra. I tried to recall the way Ojjisan had mixed the energies, letting my mind drift back to that moment. Slowly, I felt the yin and yang respond, beginning to blend.

But just as quickly, it faded. I had lost focus.

"Keep your attention on it, Itto," Ojjisan encouraged. "You need to give it constant attention for this to work. Remember, it's a process."

I nodded, determination igniting within me. I had my work cut out for me. If I wanted to master this, I would need to practice until mixing my chakra became passive and instinctual and that's what I intended to do.

After teaching me that the adults also started conversation. And that's how we spent the day me and my family talking, mainly about my antics since I was small. Even though, Some of jiji's dialogs were some times cutting or sharp the ojjisan and soba knew better than to react and escalate. We all enjoyed soba's onigiri very much. Especially me and obaasan. Once the night fell they returned to their house letting us three. Then obaasan put me to sleep in my room.

Once in bed I couldn't help but recall the events that occurred today.I didn't know why but I felt myself at peace than usual. My usual restless thoughts were less chaotic. Me it had to do with finally knowing the backstory of my birth.

"Today was a good day" I said to myself with a smile.

Then I focused and started gathering Chakra in my now empty Chakra chamber. Once some Chakra gathered I felt it flowing in the abdomen ready for use. That right there was the final confirmation that cemented how I really was in the Naruto world.

Suddenly out of nowhere a sandal came and hit me in the head followed by

"itooo go to sleep!!" my dear obaasan screeched.

"Heh. Heh" chuckling to myself while rubbing my head I went to sleep. Today infact a great day!
