Dozens of hats fly up the sky as people cheer in joy. Ellisa grins from ear to ear as she meets up with Zaroshi, her cousin and her other batch mate, Amanda.
"Way to go, El! That gold medal suits you!" , one of them jests.
"Oh please! You know it's not gold, it's bronze."
"Should've been," Zaroshi shrugs and points at Alex, who's hanging out with his own friends, "that bitch just had to cheat though."
Ellisa laughs, "Hey, hey, we couldn't prove he cheated, right? That means he didn't."
They all roll their eyes, "I guess you deserved those chocolates, then. Why you even accepted a gift from him before the final spar is beyond me, honestly."
"LOOK, he's lowkey hot, okay? Enough about that, now let's go meet up with the captain. I can't WAIT for my trip to Melholm!"
"Here we go again."
