While Okashii and Yami were training in Kenshei's dojo, There was an important meeting at the flammables. During the breakthrough and the incident with the explosives, the 4th defense force general of the cryomenicals was talking to the council of the flammables. "What brings you here, 4th general?" The first council member tells the 4th defense force general. "We have encountered something dangerous. It was when the explosives broke into our base." the 4th defense force general tells the council of the flammables. "What is it then? Show us what happened." The third member of the council asks the 4th defense force general. "I'll show you what happened." The 4th defense force general responded and then began to play a videotape from the event that happened. While the video played, it showed a bloody landscape of the cryomentical base, and most of the time in the video was distant screaming for help, and then the screaming would just fade away. "What? Why are the begging and screaming fading away?" The second member of the council questions. "Be quiet… This is where the evidence is shown. Take some notes on what happens." The fifth member of the council scolds and then pays attention even closer to the video. Suddenly, a white figure appeared and the landscape got even more bloodier. Then, the screen began to become static. Showing the end of the videotape. "What happened?" The 3rd member of the council questioned with astonishment. "What could've created that beast?" the 5th member of the council questioned with fear and terror in her eyes. "That looks like it's way too dangerous for the cryomenticals to investigate. We're going to have to take in a special observation. Get the F.E.D.I.C. team out there to examine the area." The first member of the council tells the other members with determination about what they're going to do. The other members agreed and then planned when the investigation would begin. A few weeks passed by and the team started their investigation into the area from the last incident. "Ms Yabai! We found something that could be information about what happened to the explosives!" one of the team members told her. "You did? I'd like to take a closer look at it." Yabai says to her worker. "We have collected a sample. Here you go, ma'am." The team member said to Yabai as they handed her the sample that was left on the vaporized explosive. "These are ice crystals that are very powerful… I sense its aura as it can… take out the whole physical race…" Yabai says. "We need to test how strong this is." Yabai tells the team member. More of the members began to approach the crystal because of how unique it is. "But what could be the vessel of this tiny special Ice crystal?" One of the team members began to ask Yabai. "Be quiet peasant. I can talk from now on. And yes… we'll figure out who the vessel of these ice crystals belongs to." Yabai answers and slightly smirks. "Now go get more of these crystals." Yabai commands. "MA'AM YES MA'AM!" the team members reported, and then went back to scavenging for more. Yabai was thinking of what she could do with the tiny Ice crystal that was more powerful than people could think. She then thought to herself "If I could sense their power… then the division of the flammables would use these types of crystals. They have enough potential to become powerful firearms. I just hope they can handle it." Yabai looked at the ice crystal with ideas in her head and then looked at her teammates. Her teammates are still investigating the area for more of the ice crystals that were on the remains of the explosives. Back at the flammables base, they were examining the tiny ice crystals and how much data and power it included. "Yabai… we found something from the tiny ice crystals…" One of the inspectors told Yabai. "What do they contain in them?" Yabai replied. "Well, there is an unknown power source inside the crystal that transmits lots of energy waves… But they can only last for about a while." The inspector answered with his analysis. "Let's call it…" Yabai then thought for a moment and got a perfect name for it. "We should call this energy source from the ice crystal, Jenova." Yabai answers. "I name it because the power within the ice crystal fits in with a powerful creature in a fan-favorite series in the prime year 2020." Yabai clarifies the name a bit more. "It does have that fit on power and energy but… we still don't know if it will last long. So we need to do testing with it." The inspector tells Yabai about it. "I'll be waiting to see if it's a success or not… let's just see how well these crystals are." Yabai replied to the inspector. A group of scientists bring the sample into their testing room and begin to examine it by doing the same experiments that they have done when encountering a new sample. "Heat resistant test succeeded. It can handle heat more than 3000 degrees celsius." One of the scientists examined when they used their flammable powers on the subject. "Next one… Torching it." The inspector tells the crew. They then got close to the ice crystal and then torched it. "It can handle torching." The inspector notices and then writes it down. After multiple tests on the Ice crystals, they finished the testing and they now clarify how much energy it may cost to resist and to destroy. "This energy source… What is it called again?" The scientist tells Yabai. "Jenova… that's what I named the energy source." Yabai replied. "Jenova…" The scientist thought for a moment. "Anyway… we're going to test it on weapons and see how it handles." The scientist told Yabai. "Alright. I'll take a look at the energy source and how it handles." Yabai tells the scientist and then follows the scientists to the armory testing room which is protected by an automatic titanium wall from 23 C.E. with 2 bodyguards guarding the testing area. The scientist then punched a code for the automatic door to open and then entered the weapons testing room. "Here is the testing subject weapon that we're going to place the sample into. We're going to use a humanoid subject to test it out." the scientist tells Yabai. "Right. I'll watch." Yabai replied. "Send him in." The scientist tells the crewmembers to let in an enslaved Hom with 2 guards aiming their hands at them since if the humanoid subject tries to escape, then he gets burned. The guards who were guarding the test weapon and the subject then inserted the ice crystal into the test weapon and set up a dummy-like physical and forced the hostage Hom to use it on the dummy. The hostage whimpered slightly as he then grabbed the test weapon, then fired it at the dummy just to show that it could destroy the whole dummy in one blast. "You're done." The guard tells the hostage Hom and then takes him back into his prison cell. "That's dangerous…" Yabai compliments with shock in her eyes as it actually destroyed 10 layers of their base. "Jenova is too powerful. We should use it as a last defense mechanism." The scientist tells Yabai. She then thought about the crystal and remembered a friend of hers who was killed and is now turning into a cyborg. She then remembered about it and then told the scientist about him. "I remember someone that has died and is now being turned into a cyborg created by the remains of the dead metallics." Yabai explains. "These crystals… can they… bring someone back to life?" The scientist then thought about it and then told her about the results of it. "Well, it depends on how they're working on him. But… we'll see if they have enough potential to bring him to life." The scientist then explained to Yabai. "I just hope it works on him." Yabai answered thoughtfully and then left to see her friend who was turning into a cyborg. When she entered his room, she saw his unpowered body as they tried to turn him into a cyborg and bring him back to life. Yabai placed a hand on her friend named Kenji and told his mechanical body something. "I promise Kenji… I'll be with you all the time. I'll make sure you're always safe with me. And I'll make sure that you last longer than in the past." Yabai says as she then leaves the room where Kenji is and then goes back to the testing room to examine the Ice crystals.
