### Chapter 6: The Feast of Terror
The night was thick and silent, only the distant sound of sirens echoing in the streets. Rep, in a state of frenzy, wandered through the shadows, his mind clouded by thoughts of violence and the insatiable need to be noticed. He was hungry not only for food, but for an impulse that led him to act in an increasingly brutal way. When he spotted a modest house, lit by a soft lamp, he felt that there he could find what he was looking for.
Inside, a couple of police officers, Alex and Daniel, were enjoying a quiet night. Their laughter and conversations were a reminder of a normal life, something that Rep had lost a long time ago. The security they represented irritated him. With a surge of anger and desperation, Rep approached the front door and, in one swift movement, broke it down.
The noise of the crash interrupted the peace of the house. Alex and Daniel stood up startled, their expressions changing from surprise to alert. "Who's there?" Alex shouted, reaching for the gun he kept on the table. But Rep didn't hesitate. In an act of pure brutality, he advanced towards them.
The scene that unfolded was a whirlwind of terror. Rep, knife in hand, attacked Alex first, plunging the blade into his chest before he could react. The look of shock on the officer's face was a reflection of the horror that now filled the room. Daniel tried to intervene, but Rep turned quickly, delivering a blow that sent him falling to the floor, completely stunned.
With terrifying coldness, Rep lunged at Daniel, stabbing him repeatedly. Blood sprayed, painting the walls and floor, while the agonized screams turned to piercing silence. The lives of both men were taken with a speed that would have left indelible marks on Rep's memory, had he still had the capacity to feel.
When the violence ceased, the room was shrouded in a blanket of blood and despair. Rep, panting and exhausted, paused for a moment to gaze at the inert bodies of the police officers. The reality of what he had done began to set in, but hunger kept pulling him forward. He turned toward the kitchen, where the aromas of a forgotten dinner still lingered in the air.
Feeling famished and consumed by the need to satisfy his appetite, Rep began searching through the refrigerator and cupboards. He found scraps of food, something simple but satisfying. As he helped himself, the irony of the moment did not escape him. Here he was, in the home of two police officers, devouring the food they had prepared, as if he were mocking his safety.
The silence in the house was deafening, and the feast Rep was consuming felt like a trophy, a celebration of his victory over those sworn to protect society. Each bite was accompanied by the memory of Alex and Daniel's final moments, their lives suddenly extinguished by a young man seeking notoriety.
After satisfying his hunger, Rep stood up, looking once more at the bodies. The scene was grotesque, and blood still dripped onto the floor. He knew he had to leave before anyone arrived, but for a brief moment, he felt invincible, a ghost who had defeated two guardians of the law.
Leaving the house through the back door, Rep disappeared into the shadows of the night, once again in search of a new target, leaving behind a trail of terror and death. The city did not know what awaited him, and the hunt had only just begun.
