The Nusantara Kingdom is known as an archipelagic nation, a vast expanse with countless islands spread across its territory from east to west. Among these many islands, the largest landmass stretches across a region called the Sovereign's Mainland.
This vast island is divided into four zones: East Sovereign Province, West Sovereign Province, Central Sovereign Province, and the bustling Crown Capital Special Region at its heart.
Between each of these divided provinces, landmarks or checkpoints serve as boundary markers, and one such place is the Gloom Veil Forest—a dense forest marking the boundary between the East Sovereign Province and the nation's capital.
An interprovincial road built long ago bisects the forest into two large sections. Yet, despite the tropical forest's quiet, often disturbed by the roar of passing vehicles, eerie stories circulate among travelers who pass through this road at night.
