Sarah sprinted towards the elevator, her fingers grasping for the buttons. She frantically pressed the button, but the doors remained stubbornly shut. Aria dodged to the side as one of the guards lunged for her. The guards hand swiping through the air mere inches from her face.
It seemed the guards didn't want to use their guns again, opting instead to subdue them by hand. Aria seized the opportunity, using her agility to evade their grasp.
She swiftly sidestepped a guard's outstretched arm and her eyes darted towards Ryan. He stood motionless, still under the influence of the injection.
Aria's gaze lingered on Ryan's face, her eyes locking onto his tranquil expression. "Ryan," she whispered and without hesitation, Aria began to run towards his standing form.
As she approached Ryan, the ringing sound crease to a stop and guards weren't trying to catch her.
