Chapter 1 - hallway conflict

It was pouring hard this morning.

Tiny droplets slided down the window. My seat partner , Amber may . Was absent again , shes a nice person but stays on leave mostly. I stood up , making my way to washroom. Here we go again , I thought . Those three-girl gang was gossiping again about something. They're always so free. I stood by the dryer , couldn't help but eavesdrop the convo.

"The new p.t. teacher?"

"Exactly . He's so young an-"

"GOOD LOOKING!"

They started giggling . It was a weird laugh more like a hiccup . I pressed my lips together to compress my emotions , I can't just burst out laughing on their laugh.

I walked down the hallway , spotting a huge crowd in distance. Deep in thoughts I didn't realise I got bumped into a guy .

"sorry-"

I said , but he was too lost in the scene infront of him . I followed his gaze , and my eyes went wide .

"Triston?"

I whispered , soon the pt teacher barged in yelling at the people.

"Stop fighting- you two"

He commented . I scoffed at a girl squealing over him beside me . What was that ...

But the scene in front of my eyes made me choke. Triston wood ? Getting beating up? There's no way. I wanted to know the reason so bad that I decided to run after him who was taken to nurse office. He's a tall buffed guy , who'll never stand someone talking back at him . How can he let someone hit him? I was curious. After all he's my neighbour , his mother knows me well and he does too.

I decided to take a different route because of the students being gathered there. I ran past the basketball court , to the back garden. Realising there was no roof . I'll get soaked.

But there's no way I'll run all the way back to take a different path . My curiosity of knowing the reason took over and I ran under the rain to the nurse office. Bursted the door open . Panting ..

A bit drenched in rain.

"Triston wood!"
