Scary music playing, at a castle deep in the mountains.
Franken, the ugliest zombie in the world, stood in his dimly lit lab. His massive, grotesque body loomed over the controls of a terrifying machine, surrounded by jars filled with monster parts. His hideous grin stretched wide as he cackled madly. "Ahhahaha! Finally! Finally!!!" His voice echoed through the castle's stone halls.
The wind outside howled, lightning flashed, and thunder rumbled ominously, making the scene even more dramatic. Franken's beady eyes gleamed with excitement as he gazed at the centerpiece of his horrific creation—a black, hulking body stitched together from 100 different monsters he had hunted down over the years.
"Yes… yesss! This will be the one! The one uglier than ME!" He muttered, his deep, scratchy voice trembling with anticipation. Franken had been called the ugliest monster in his village for as long as he could remember. But today, that would change.
He flipped a switch, connecting the monstrous body to a series of tubes and wires. "This Nuclear Reactor Exo-Plasma will bring you to life, my masterpiece!" He cackled again, a bolt of lightning striking a nearby tree for Special effect you know for cinematic.
"All I need to do is press this button… AHAHAHAHA!" Franken's finger hovered over the button, trembling with excitement. "And the ugliest creature to ever walk this world will be born!"
With another flash of lightning, Franken slammed his finger down on the button. The machine roared to life. One tube began glowing a sickly green as energy from the nuclear reactor was drained, while the body inside the main chamber slowly absorbed the power, crackling with life.
"Hahahaha! YES! It's working!" Franken screamed with glee as the body inside the tube started to twitch and move. The machine hissed and whirred as steam rose from it, the pressure building to a climax. Then, with a sudden burst, the chamber opened, releasing a cloud of smoke.
Franken waited, breathless. As the smoke cleared, the silhouette of the creature emerged. Franken grinned, expecting to see the most hideous abomination he could imagine.
But as the last of the smoke faded, his grin disappeared. Standing before him was… a slender figure, long silver-white hair cascading down her back, glowing golden eyes shining with life. Her skin was flawless, and her body, though powerful, was graceful. She was… beautiful.
"No… no, no, no!" Franken's voice cracked. His jaw dropped, disbelief flooding his face. "This—this wasn't the plan!! You're supposed to be hideous!"
The creature blinked, her golden eyes focusing on him. She tilted her head and smiled sweetly. "Oh? You must be my creator, right?" Her voice was soft but playful, and she took a step toward him. "You look… funny!"
Franken's world crumbled. His life's work—ruined by beauty. "No… I made a mistake… I MADE A BEAUTIFUL MONSTER!" He screamed to the heavens as lightning flashed once again, mocking him.
The girl stretched her arms and sighed. "So, what's my name, Daddy?"
Franken, still in shock, muttered, "N-name?"
"Yes! My name. You made me, so you should give me a name!" she chirped, batting her eyes innocently.
Franken rubbed his temples, trying to regain some sense of control. "A name… fine." He looked at her silver hair, her playful demeanor, and the fact that she was way too pretty for his taste. "You… you're Elyka. Elyka Franken."
"Elyka, huh?" she giggled. "Sounds cute! Well, nice to meet you, Daddy Franken!" She leapt forward and hugged him tightly. Despite being a powerful Tier 10 monster—capable of leveling mountains with a sneeze—her embrace felt warm and almost… affectionate.
Franken stiffened in her embrace, his face twitching in frustration. "No… no hugs…! You're supposed to be terrifying, not cute! This is all wrong!"
Elyka grinned, clearly enjoying his suffering. "Aww, don't be such a grouch, Daddy! You made me, and I'm perfect! I'm going to stick with you forever and ever!"
Franken groaned, realizing his nightmare was just beginning. He had succeeded in creating a monster—just not the kind he'd hoped for.
As Elyka clung to him, giggling and tugging at his tattered clothes, Franken sighed. "This is going to be a long afterlife..."
