After school, Erik and the group were still buzzing from their lunchtime antics. The others couldn't believe the extent of Erik's powers, and even Lili had to admit it was impressive.
"So, what's next, Almighty Erik?" she teased, clearly warming up to the idea of her friend being a god.
Erik grinned. "Let me show you."
He led them outside to the football field, where the wide-open sky seemed like the perfect canvas for his next stunt. Sasha, Carter, Lili, Zara, and Hugo all followed closely, curious and a little nervous about what Erik would do next.
With a dramatic flourish, Erik raised his arms, feeling the surge of energy within him. He snapped his fingers, and suddenly, the wind picked up, lifting all six of them off the ground. They screamed in surprise, except for Erik, who floated effortlessly, grinning from ear to ear.
"We're flying!" Zara shouted, her phone still in hand as she tried to capture it all on video.
"Erik! What the hell?!" Lili yelled, gripping onto his arm tightly. Carter, meanwhile, was laughing hysterically as they zoomed higher into the air.
"Relax!" Erik called out over the wind. "We're just having a little fun."
They looped and twisted through the sky, soaring over the school and the town, their laughter echoing in the clouds. For a few moments, they were untouchable—above it all, floating in the wind as Erik's godlike powers carried them higher and higher.
"This is insane!" Carter shouted, his voice filled with excitement.
"Okay, this is actually kinda cool," Lili admitted, finally loosening her grip on Erik.
From below, they could see their classmates pointing up at them, tiny figures staring in awe at the group of friends flying high above the school grounds. Erik felt a rush of exhilaration—this was freedom, true power, and he was only just beginning to explore what he could do.
"Where do we go next?" Zara asked, a wild grin on her face as they soared through the clouds.
Erik looked at his friends, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Anywhere we want."
And with another snap of his fingers, they disappeared into the sky, leaving the world below them far behind.
