It was Halloween, and as I was walking near the school, someone waved at me. "Ann!" Lillia excitedly ran over to me. "Do you know what today is?" she asked. "Of course, it's Halloween," I replied. Lillia beamed. "I heard the Evans family is hosting a Halloween party. Do you want to go?" she asked. "A party? Sounds fun, but... big gatherings aren't really my thing," I hesitated. "Come on, it'll be great!" she insisted. I reluctantly agreed, and the school bell rang as we entered the classroom.
Later that evening, I went to Lillia's house. "Ann, how do I look?" Lillia was dressed like a ghost from The Crimson Garden, while I had no costume. "Pretty good, realistic even," I said. "Now it's your turn!" Lillia handed me a witch costume, and despite my protests, I put it on. As we prepared to leave, I couldn't help but feel uneasy, unsure about attending such a big party.
