Art itself is a reflection of the world, but within each bloom of beauty lies a seed of destruction. For me, humans are that seed. They corrupt everything they touch, and l've long stopped pretending to believe otherwise. As I stand on this earth-peaceful, passive, unable to fight back—| look up, not at nature, but at the grotesque thing before me. A twisted, man-made abomination. A hybrid monstrosity with the fangs of a tiger, the body of a serpent, emerging from the waterfall to meet my gaze.
I already know what's next. Either I kill or l'm killed. It's always that simple.
I analyze my options, though they're laughably limited. Two knives, and that thing has all the advantages in the water. I need to pull it out, strip it of its domain. So, I throw a knife. Straight at its eyes. Perfect accuracy. But perfection is meaningless when you're facing a beast faster than you can blink.
It dodges like a bullet, and I only have a fraction of a second to guess its next move.
It appears beside me, and its tail—a towering, nine-foot mass of muscle-slams into my right side. The impact sends me flying, bones cracking. My body, as always, is a liability. Useless. I can feel my arm out of place. Still, pain is irrelevant. I set it back with a snap and focus.
As I fall, momentum builds. I twist, spin
-become a blade in motion. The beast, screeching in shock, launches itself after me, its tail glowing a menacing red. It doesn't matter. All that matters is Elizabeth, the one thing in this miserable existence that keeps me sane. The only reason I haven't embraced the sweet release of death.
The forest, the water, the wind— everything around us is irrelevant noise.
All that remains is the collision. Two forces destined to meet in catastrophe.
While In a different world stood Elizabeth—a vision of unparalleled grace. Her skin, a warm shade of caramel, radiated a glow that captivated hearts effortlessly. Her hair, rich and voluminous, cascaded like a soft waterfall, an eruption of beauty in its purest form. Her presence was magnetic, drawing admiration from all around. With a voluptuous figure, she exuded a timeless elegance, her every movement embodying sophistication and allure.
Her body glowed as she was about to confront her first obstacle, ''Get out of my way let me go find my son before he does something crazy''.
