And with that, i walked out, leaving Vanessa alone in her office, her mask of confidence
finally shattered. Each of my steps was
a testament to my strength. I didn't need to look back; i had made my point,
and Vanessa knew it.
As i exited the building, i felt a weight lift off my chest. I had confronted my past and
faced my fears, and for the first time, i felt truly free.
I felt a mix of emotions as i and Michael walked into the antenatal clinic together. I
had an appointment with the doctor for my usual checkups and Micheal decided to
follow me there.
My steps slowed as i took in the quiet but bustling atmosphere, my hand subconsciously resting on my abdomen.
