"We don't have to go public," Michael said. "Not yet. We just need to gather enough evidence to discredit Vanessa and her claims."
Caroline hesitated. "There's something else you should know. Edward kept detailed records of his dealings—letters, contracts, even journals. If we can find them, they might hold the key to unraveling Vanessa's schemes."
"We'll look into it" Micheal said assuredly.
That night, i sat alone in my bedroom, staring out the window at the city lights. My mind was a whirlwind of thoughts, my emotions swinging between determination and dread.
