Chapter 15 - Operation Day

As the night deepened, the atmosphere inside the computer shop shifted once again. The usual hum of children playing games had faded into silence. The last customer had long left, and now, ZeroCrypt was alone in the building.

Jojo moved quietly from his station behind the counter, pulling out a set of keys. He walked to the front door and locked it with a swift motion, turning the deadbolt and ensuring that no one would come in—or out—without his permission. He glanced over at the CCTV monitors mounted on the wall behind the counter. The grainy black-and-white footage showed the street outside, empty but for the occasional passerby. Jojo watched for a few moments longer, ensuring that everything was clear before stepping away.

"All secure," Jojo muttered to himself.

He turned and headed down the narrow staircase that led to the basement, his footsteps soft and deliberate. Once inside the basement, the door closed behind him with a quiet click. The room felt almost like a fortress, with noise-canceling panels lining the walls and the low hum of high-spec computers filling the air.

Each member of ZeroCrypt was already at their station, silently preparing for the operation ahead. Zark sat at his terminal, adjusting his chair and stretching his fingers, mentally preparing for what was to come.

Rene was checking his malware one last time, his eyes scanning the code for any potential flaws. Julia was setting up her botnets, making sure every compromised machine was ready to go. Everyone had a role to play, and the energy in the room was tense yet focused.

Jojo sat down at his workstation, pulling his headset over his ears. He glanced around the room, seeing his team ready and in position, then turned his attention to the large flat-screen on the far wall.

Suddenly, the screen flickered to life, the familiar shadowy figure of the ZeroCrypt leader appearing. His face remained obscured, hidden in the shadows, but his voice carried the weight of authority.

"Good evening, ZeroCrypt," the leader greeted them in a smooth, low tone.

"Today is Wednesday. It's time."

The entire room went still, every pair of eyes locked on the screen. Even though they couldn't see their leader's face, the respect and trust they had for him were palpable.

"We've prepared for this moment, and now it's time to execute. Each of you knows your role. You have your targets, your tasks. Everything has been set in motion. Do not deviate from the plan. Stay focused, stay sharp, and remember—we're not just doing this for ourselves. This is for those who can't fight back."

The leader paused for a moment, letting the weight of his words sink in before continuing.

"Good luck, ZeroCrypt. Show them what we're capable of."

The screen went black, leaving the basement in silence once more. For a brief moment, the only sound was the soft hum of the computers. Then, as if on cue, the team sprang into action.

Samantha stood up from her chair, pulling out her phone as she walked toward the far side of the room. She took a deep breath, her fingers already dialing the number of her contact at the target company. This part of the mission required finesse, and Samantha was more than prepared to play her part.

"Hello, Mr. Delgado," Samantha said smoothly, her voice taking on a professional tone.

"Just wanted to let you know that the delivery is on its way. Expect it to arrive shortly via Lalamove."

"Understood, Miss Dela Cruz," Mr. Delgado replied, sounding a bit rushed.

"I'll ensure it's received properly."

Samantha nodded, even though he couldn't see her, and hung up. She turned back to the group, giving them a thumbs-up.

"The package is on its way. We're good to go."

Roy, sitting next to Zark, opened his terminal, typing commands to establish the secure tunnel to the target network. His screen lit up with a series of numbers and letters as he worked quickly to ensure their access was stable.

Bash Code:

essh -L 9000:target_ip:22 roy@zerocrypt.local -N

"Tunnels are live," Roy announced. "We're in."

At that moment, Julia pulled up her terminal, issuing commands to prepare her botnet for the DDoS attack that would hit the target's servers the moment they received the signal.

Python Code:

import socket

def launch_ddos(ip, port):

s = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_STREAM)

s.connect((ip, port))

s.send(b"Botnet attack initiated.")

s.close()

bots = ["192.168.1.10", "192.168.1.12", "192.168.1.15"]

for bot in bots:

launch_ddos(bot, 8080)

"Botnet's ready," Julia said with a grin.

"We'll hit them hard when the time comes."

In the background, Angelica was busy monitoring the vulnerabilities she had discovered earlier. She scrolled through the reports on her screen, her eyes darting between tabs as she cross-referenced every bit of data they had collected.

"Everything checks out," Angelica said softly.

"We've got the upper hand. Let's make this count."

Finally, the Lalamove driver arrived at the company's front entrance, carrying the package that Samantha had arranged. The package was discreet, unassuming, but inside was a small device carefully crafted by Rene. After exchanging signatures and verifying delivery, Mr. Delgado carefully opened the package. The moment the seal was broken, a small green light flickered to life inside the device.

Back in the basement, Rene leaned back in his chair, cigarette smoke curling up into the air. He tapped a key on his keyboard, and with a swift motion, he activated the device remotely.

Python Code:

import socket

def activate_device(ip):

s = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_STREAM)

s.connect((ip, 8080))

s.send(b"Activate wireless access point")

s.close()

ip = "target_device_ip"

activate_device(ip)

"Device activated," Rene announced calmly, the flicker of satisfaction evident in his tone.

At that moment, the wireless signal from the device transmitted to the nearby systems in the building, giving ZeroCrypt access to the internal network. Zark's fingers hovered over his keyboard, waiting for the signal to appear on his screen. The entire team was on high alert, knowing this was the critical juncture in their mission.

Seconds later, Zark's terminal lit up with new access points.

"We're in," Zark confirmed, his voice filled with intensity.

"Let's get to work."

With that, the operation began. The members of ZeroCrypt, each in their respective roles, launched into action. Their movements were synchronized and precise, like a well-rehearsed performance. They had prepared for this moment, and now it was time to show what they were capable of.
