Chereads / NARUTO: SECOND GOD OF SHINOBI / Chapter 42 - CHAPTER 42

Chapter 42 - CHAPTER 42

(A/N: There had been some complaints about rushing the fan-fic. But I would like to address this issues here and now. It's my first time writing, and I plan to write less than 300 to 400 chapters. The timeline for cannon is already 40 to 44 years in future. I can not fathom or decipher every year event so naturally, therefore I have rushed the development section.

The true development of plot will be at the time of major events. Or do you think I should write every details and more than 1000 chapters, when even the Naruto is only based on five years progress contained in 700 episodes.

I will say it frankly here. I don't have this much time at all, have I ever said to you that give me power stones or collect my book to help me. The answer is NO! I write for fun, Or this fan-fic will be like other fan-fic, dropped in between by the me.

There is one more thing I would like to address, I have given explanation for everything I do in fan-fic, whether time skip or bloodline seal, even after that, I got complaints that, how can this be possible. Why is MC doing so much for sarutobi clan? What value will MC have if everyone can access five elements in sarutobi clan? what the F*** is this? Can anyone in the clan match MC power? can anyone in clan would got their position without MC hard work?

I want to ask this, tell me Why do you read uchiha fan-fic? or why in every fan-fic their is a mention of abilities and bloodline clan reincarnation or transmigration, even their system would generate sharingan and sage body. Is it that much problem, when another clan bloodline enhanced or their base strength is comparable to uchiha and senju.

I want to make yin-yang release as my goals for this fan-fic, not some sharingan and sage body assimilation, Tadaaa six path power and rinnegan achieved, f*** hagoromo f*** kaguya, I am the ultimate after rinnegan.)

The late afternoon sun cast a warm, golden glow over Konoha as Team Hiruzen, consisting of Jiraiya, Tsunade, Orochimaru, and Sakumo, walked toward their sensei's residence.

Hiruzen Sarutobi, known for his wisdom and unparalleled mastery over ninjutsu, had called his team for a private meeting. There was an air of excitement, but also uncertainty.

They were unsure why their sensei had summoned them, but they had a feeling it would be no ordinary training session.

The Sarutobi residence was a sprawling compound, nestled in a secluded part of the village. It was surrounded by ancient trees, their leaves rustling softly in the breeze.

A small stream flowed near the house, its crystal-clear water adding to the serene atmosphere.

As they approached the gates, the scent of burning incense and the distant clatter of weapons training could be faintly detected.

Jiraiya stretched his arms behind his head, trying to mask his excitement. "Do you think Sensei's going to show us some new jutsu today?" he asked, his voice barely containing his eagerness.

Tsunade rolled her eyes but smiled. "I doubt it. He's probably just going to lecture us on how we need to be more disciplined in our missions."

Orochimaru, walking slightly ahead of the group, remained silent, his golden eyes scanning the environment, always calculating.

His fascination with strength and power was evident in his focused demeanor.

Sakumo, quiet and calm as always, glanced at the gate as it opened slowly. "We're about to find out."

As they entered the compound, they were greeted by Hiruzen, who stood in the courtyard with his arms crossed, smiling at his students.

His face, despite the years of experience, still held a certain warmth that put them at ease, yet his eyes revealed the depths of his wisdom and strength.

"Welcome, all of you," Hiruzen greeted, his voice carrying an authoritative tone, yet soft enough to show affection. "I've called you here for something different today."

The team gathered in front of him, listening intently.

"I've noticed your improvement over the last few months. You've handled your missions well, but now it's time to see just how much you've grown,"

Hiruzen continued, his smile widening. "Before you can take on higher-ranking missions, I need to assess your true potential, both as individuals and as a team."

Jiraiya grinned. "Does that mean we finally get to spar with you, Sensei?"

Hiruzen chuckled. "In due time. But first, I'll test each of you individually. After all, in the last month you all have acquired some jutsu too."

The four young shinobi exchanged glances. It wasn't uncommon for them to spar with each other, but going up against the man known as "The Professor" was another matter entirely.

(A/N: His name 'The Professor' has started to circulate in Konoha, mentioned by lady mito in previous chapters.)

"Before we start," Hiruzen said, turning his attention toward the entrance of the compound, "there's one more person I'd like you to meet."

From the shadows emerged a tall, muscular figure wearing the standard green jumpsuit of a taijutsu user. His wild, black hair and determined expression were instantly recognizable.

"This is Dai," Hiruzen introduced, gesturing toward the man who stepped forward with a respectful bow. "He's been training under me for a while now, and I expect great things from him. He will be joining us for today's session."

Jiraiya looked impressed. "I've heard of you! You're the one who's been practicing nonstop. People call you 'The Taijutsu Madman'."

Dai smiled proudly. "Yes, that's me! And I won't stop until I become the strongest taijutsu user in Konoha!"

"Now," Hiruzen interrupted, bringing their attention back to the task at hand, "let's begin with individual assessments. I'll test each of you in a one-on-one match to see where you stand."

He gestured toward the wide, open training ground, surrounded by large trees that cast long shadows across the grass. The air seemed to hum with anticipation as the team prepared themselves for the challenge ahead.

"Jiraiya," Hiruzen called out, stepping forward. "You're up first."

Jiraiya's face lit up with excitement as he stepped forward, cracking his knuckles. "Finally! I've been waiting for this moment, Sensei."

Hiruzen smiled at his enthusiasm. "Let's see if your talk matches your strength."

Without another word, the battle began.

Jiraiya charged forward, his hands quickly forming the seals for a fire jutsu. "Fire Style: Flame Bomb!" he shouted, releasing a massive wave of fire toward his teacher.

Hiruzen moved swiftly, forming hand seals almost too fast to follow. "Water Style: Water Wall!" A towering wall of water surged up, extinguishing Jiraiya's flames instantly.

Not discouraged, Jiraiya leapt into the air, preparing to launch a barrage of shuriken from above. "Take this!"

Hiruzen smiled calmly, allowing the shuriken to fly toward him. At the last moment, he moved with blinding speed, dodging every projectile with minimal effort. He then closed the distance between them in an instant, appearing behind Jiraiya as the young ninja landed on the ground.

"Too slow," Hiruzen whispered before delivering a light tap to Jiraiya's back, sending him stumbling forward.

Jiraiya grinned as he caught his balance. "Not bad, Sensei."

"You're still holding back," Hiruzen said. "Come at me with everything you've got."

Jiraiya's grin widened. "You asked for it!"

With a flurry of hand seals, he launched a massive attack that landed heavily on the ground with a deep croak. "Let's see how you handle this!"

But Hiruzen was already in the air, avoiding the attack with ease. He countered with a barrage of earth-based jutsu, sending pillars of rock toward the attack, forcing it to retreat.

After several minutes of intense back-and-forth combat, Hiruzen called a halt, raising his hand.

"That's enough, Jiraiya," Hiruzen said, lowering his arms. "You've improved greatly, but there's still more for you to learn."

Jiraiya, panting slightly, nodded. "I'll keep working at it."

Next, it was Tsunade's turn.

Hiruzen faced her with the same calm demeanor, but there was a flicker of interest in his eyes.

Tsunade, with her immense chakra control and physical strength, was one of his most promising students. She stood confidently, her fists clenched.

"Let's see how your taijutsu has improved," Hiruzen said.

Without hesitation, Tsunade launched herself at her teacher, her fist glowing with chakra as she aimed a powerful punch at him.

Hiruzen dodged the attack with ease, but the ground beneath him cracked from the force of Tsunade's strike. He raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed.

"Your strength is formidable, but you're still predictable," Hiruzen commented as he sidestepped another punch, this time countering with a quick palm strike to Tsunade's side.

Tsunade grunted but quickly recovered, launching another series of punches and kicks, each one faster and more precise than the last.

As the sparring session continued, it became clear that while Tsunade had unmatched physical power, her sensei's experience and agility kept him one step ahead.

"Good, but you need to work on your speed," Hiruzen advised as he ended the session.

Tsunade, though slightly winded, nodded. "I'll get faster."

Orochimaru and Sakumo awaited their turns, both watching carefully as their teammates were tested.
