Mr Roberts came into his study again after exiting to get some documents for Lisa while Lisa remained seated, patiently waiting for him. Mr Roberts stepped in with some documents in his hands, he laid them down on his table, pushing them forward towards Lisa so she could read them.
Just then, a phone rang drawing back Lisa whose hands were almost reaching for the documents, glancing at her phone, she saw that it was Estabel who was calling her without much thought she reached out to the phone and picked up the call
"Excuse me," Lisa said quickly, her voice tight as she swiped to answer. " Hey Estabel...." but she was interrupted by Estabel who wasn't in for pleasantries.
" Lisa," Estabel's voice cracked with panic, almost breaking. "Maya's been in an accident; she was hit by a car in the park, and the driver drove off. She's at the hospital... They said it's critical. They need blood, but they haven't found a match."
