Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Fierce Battle with the Dark Elves!

The dark elves charged towards Han Xing, their faces twisted in grimaces, uttering strange, complex syllables. Strangely, Han Xing could understand them.

At that moment, Han Xing began counting in his head.

"One... two..."

There were a total of six dark elves.

Among them, one was a dark elf hunter, two were dark elf mages, two were dark elf warriors, and there was also a dark elf priest.

This configuration was incredibly strong. No human survivor so far could withstand two rounds against this group of dark elves.

Han Xing took a deep breath. If it came to a head-on fight, he wasn't a match for so many dark elves. But he knew his advantage-his attack power far surpassed others of the same rank!

Unlike wild monsters, dark elves had noticeably weaker defenses. Moreover, they didn't cooperate well with each other, which gave Han Xing a chance.

The next moment, two arrows that had been prepared long ago shot out instantly.

**Double Shot! Charged Strike!**

Whoosh! Whoosh!

The two dark elf warriors charging at the front didn't expect such an overwhelming force from this seemingly weak human. The arrows flew at them so quickly they couldn't react in time.

That said, these dark elf warriors had plenty of combat experience. In a split second, they made the best choice they could-dodging to the side!

The green-tinted iron arrows hit their marks. One struck a dark elf warrior in the shoulder, and the other pierced the abdomen of the second.

Fortunately for them, neither wound was fatal.

Both dark elf warriors felt they had narrowly escaped death and angrily glared at Han Xing.

"Damn human! I'll cut off your head and use it as a chamber pot!"

But Han Xing only smirked.

Did these two think avoiding critical areas meant they were safe?

Little did they know, he had coated his arrows with green viper venom...

Now, the neurotoxin was entering their bodies through the wounds, spreading quickly.

Sure enough, the dark elf warriors' faces soon changed. They began feeling a numbing sensation at their wounds, and the flesh around them rapidly turned black and purple, spreading outward.

In terror, they shouted, "You sly human! You poisoned your arrows!"

Their weapons clattered to the ground-they had lost the ability to fight.

Just then, a wooden arrow and a fireball shot towards Han Xing from a distance. It was the dark elf hunter and mages, taking advantage of the time Han Xing was dealing with the two warriors to launch their attacks.

The two projectiles quickly closed in, their angles hard to dodge.

In the nick of time, Han Xing ducked his head. The wooden arrow whizzed over his head, but he had no way to avoid the fireball.

Boom!

The fireball exploded in front of Han Xing, scorching his python-skin coat black. The force of the explosion sent him rolling several meters backward.

Han Xing quickly got up, silently thanking his luck.

Fortunately, he had made that beast-hide coat before entering the fight. Otherwise, the fireball alone could've severely injured him!

Whoosh!

In the moment he stood up, Han Xing fired another arrow.

The dark elf mage who had just launched the fireball didn't expect Han Xing to counterattack so quickly.

The arrow pierced through the mage's forehead, exiting out the back of his skull before he could even react.

The dark elf mage collapsed, lifeless.

The other dark elves, eyes wide with fury, wanted nothing more than to hack Han Xing to pieces.

"My holy light..."

The dark elf priest raised his wooden hammer, summoning a glow, seemingly intending to heal the two poisoned warriors and dispel the venom.

However, there was no way Han Xing would let him succeed.

In life-threatening situations, humans often unleash unprecedented potential-just like Han Xing now, fully immersed in the battle.

His mind was racing as he watched for more long-range attacks from the dark elves while also keeping an eye on his skill cooldowns.

At that moment, the five-second cooldown for Double Shot had ended.

In an instant, two arrows were drawn, and the bowstring was pulled taut.

"Go!" Han Xing shouted.

Thud! Thud!

Both arrows hit the dark elf priest. Though he wore wooden armor, it was as fragile as paper against Han Xing's powerful strikes.

The dark elf priest fell to the ground, dead.

A one-shot kill!

This was the sheer power of Han Xing's attacks. With 12 points in Agility, 9 points in Strength, and a rare-quality green longbow, he had the strength to one-shot level 2 monsters.

In the blink of an eye, four dark elves were down.

On the battlefield, only one dark elf mage and the hunter remained. Both of them seemed stunned.

Neither had expected the battle to shift so dramatically. What had once been a clear advantage had been swiftly overturned by this human hunter!

Han Xing's strength and quick reflexes had far exceeded their expectations.

When Han Xing's sharp, predatory gaze locked onto them, the vicious dark elves instinctively took a step back.

But the deep-seated hatred in their bones made them lose their reason again.

"Human... Die!"

The two dark elves launched another attack simultaneously.

But Han Xing's arrows were faster.

Even as he took the hit from the dark elf mage's attack, Han Xing shot the dark elf hunter, finishing him off.

With the final dark elf mage falling to the ground, the battle was over, and the system notification sounded.

[You've killed Dark Elf 6, gained 120 XP.]

[You have destroyed a small Dark Elf territory, Elf Faction Favorability +1.]

Han Xing sat down, gasping for breath.

The fight hadn't lasted long, but it had drained much of his physical and mental strength. He felt utterly exhausted.

"Elf Faction Favorability? What the heck is that?"

When Han Xing played on his phone, there was no such thing as favorability ratings.

"Could this be a new feature unique to this world?"

Standing up, Han Xing surveyed the battlefield littered with dark elf corpses and sighed in relief. "It was risky, but totally worth it!"

He walked over to the dark elf corpses, trying to salvage something.

But the system gave him a different notification.

[Humanoid creatures cannot be disassembled. (Tip: You can search their bodies; you might find a pleasant surprise.)]

Disassemble? So it's telling me to loot their corpses?

Han Xing thought it over and shrugged.

After all, dark elves looked too human-like. Even if he could break them down into meat and body parts, he couldn't stomach the idea.

So, he began searching through their bodies.
