" What do you think you're doing?" His voice was meant to be neutral, but it was cold, and intimidating instead. His eyes were on Helena, unwavering, and irritated as he stood not too far away from where she was.
She looked stunned for a moment, before finally composing herself.
" You received a message from me earlier, and the message came directly from Mr Jason Von himself. I would advise you to quietly move out of the hotel before he arrives to meet you, creating a scene, and even bullying an employee." He didn't radiate any friendly aura, as he stared down at Helena.
Helena chuckled nervously, and spread her arms, " So what? Unless I hear it from Jason Von himself, I'm not leaving. You, of all people, don't have the right to talk to me. Just what would be Jason's reaction after he finds out that you snuck in a lady?" She smirked devilishly. She knew he wouldn't be able to defend himself since she had facts. Jason would never invite a guest to his villa, not even his family members.
Han was sneaking in a woman. ' I assume she's from the same dump from which he came from. Of course, Jason does have women, but not in his hotel suit either. The woman should be one of those low-class women from the clothes she was wearing.'
' Jason couldn't have replaced me with some street rat, could he?' She wanted to find other reasonable assumptions, but it all kept leading back to the fact that Han could never have the audacity to sneak in a woman.
' He couldn't have replaced me with that 'guest,' right?' she thought to herself, with her eyes a little widened and her fists still balled. The look on Han's face made her feel a little stupid.
" Please leave, or you might just keep on embarrassing yourself further," Han spoke up again after seconds of silence.
" That's impossible! I was allowed in here a few moments ago, but now Jason von himself suddenly sent out instructions to keep me out?" She scoffed, that was outrageous.
" I'm afraid so," Han replied. " Please, leave or else we might have to use force."
A middle-aged man with short blonde hair, dressed in a fancy business suit, Suddenly spoke up in her defense. " Don't you have any manners, young man?"
Han's gaze shifted toward the man who had just spoken, and he immediately recognized him. Of course, he recognized every elite in the social circle. As Jason's assistant, he'd met tons of people and acquired information about most of them.
The man who just spoke is a very well-respected businessman who had been trying so hard to get Jason to notice him and form some kind of connection. He'd previously tried various means that proved futile. Greg Hunt is a man with a proud and sophisticated background.
" Don't you have any shame left in you?" He spoke up again with a look of disgust.
" Mr Hunt, is there anything I can help you with?" Han spoke up with a neutral but a little bit calming tone.
" We all know that if it weren't for Jason Von's kindness, you wouldn't be here. Yet, you dared to talk to a lady who will be married to him soon in such a manner just because you're his assistant?" Greg sneered and stared down at him with a look of disgust.
" Mr. Von has ordered us not to let her in, sir." Han lowered his head a little with respect. " It would be better if you allow us to do our job. Please, kindly refrain from interfering."
Han turned back towards Helena, " Guards, please see that the future empress is escorted out safely." He had a smug look on his face as he spoke. " Go ahead and tell him I brought a woman to his hotel suite, future empress. I'm sure he'll be pleased to know."
Greg Hunt felt a little embarrassed and scoffed slightly. Passerbys stared at the little drama unfolding… of course, it was no secret that he had been trying to get Jason's attention for quite some time now…
" You don't seem to have manners. I shouldn't be surprised, since you were brought up in a slump." He sneered, and before he could continue further, Han had left.
Helena blinked several times, feeling her heart begin to race. Before she could reflect on the situation, guards approached her, "Ma'am, we kindly request that you follow us. We must restrict your access to the hotel from this point forward. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter to ensure a peaceful resolution."
Without giving them any response, she started to walk out of the hotel, and they trailed behind her. Her face was red, and her eyes became blurry. What sort of embarrassment is this? I've never been so humiliated all my life. Her thoughts shifted back to the number of people who witnessed it all.
Kimberly sat down quietly watching the food that was placed in front of her. Her stomach grumbled, causing her face to turn a little shade of pink.
" You should eat something, young miss." Han chuckled, and quietly moved to the side. "Mr Jason should be here soon."
Han had returned to the suit after taking just a few minutes out. He had been the one to carry such a heavy tray of food to serve her. She stared at the meal with her tongue salivating a little. The grand tray was adorned with an exquisite assortment of culinary delights.
Cured meats, including thin slices of prosciutto and smoked salmon. Eggs, expertly prepared in poached, scrambled, and made-to-order omelets
Luxury breads, comprising freshly baked brioche, crusty baguette, and rustic ciabatta. Freshly squeezed juice coffee, fresh-looking milk with artisanal jams, and honey.
She didn't need anyone to persuade her further, as she dug in and started to eat to her fill. " Thank you for the meal." She heaved a sigh and rubbed her bulging stomach a little. She had been served in the hospital after she woke up, but they'd given her light meals instead.
Han had stolen glances at her as she ate, and he couldn't help but chuckle at her behavior as she ate like she'd been starving for months… well she had anyway.
" I'm not surprised you almost finished it all… I could get you more when you're hungry again…" He paused for a moment, " Aeh, Mr. Jason is back."
