Chapter 72 - Perfect

Lorelai flinched as his breath tickled her more and grabbed Rhaegar's arms to steady herself. She had completely forgotten about his opened wound and only withdrew her hand once she felt his blood moistening her palm. 

"Oh no! I am sorry! Did it hurt?"

Rhaegar smiled; he didn't seem to care about his wound. Instead, he moved his hands all over her body, caressing and pinching her thin, porcelain skin. Then, with a swift movement of his left hand, he pulled the white silk ribbon that held the princess' hair in a loose bun, and watched it fall over her shoulders and down her back, its warm scent enveloping him like an invisible perfumed veil. 

Lorelai frowned slightly, not happy about the king's carelessness. "Is it really alright to ignore your current condition like this?"

"There is another condition that keeps bothering me. That one, I really cannot ignore."
