Theo's eyes narrowed, his thoughts racing. He knew what Ely was hinting at, the same desire he saw in Lady Ashford's gaze earlier. A challenge, perhaps? Or was it an offer of something more? He took a step closer to her, the heat from her body radiating towards him, mingling with the aroma of the spiced meat still lingering in the air.
"Tell me, Salina," he began, his voice low and husky with need, "what do you have in mind?"
Her cheeks flushed a deep crimson, and she swallowed hard. "I know of a... place, my lord," she stammered, "a place where we can go, where you can... take us all, without fear of interruption."
