The youngest sister, still smiling, unleashes a barrage of fireballs at Akira, testing his agility and reflexes. Akira dodges the attacks, but the sister's relentless assault pushes him to his limits.
Meanwhile, the second oldest sister intervenes, cautioning the youngest to not kill Akira, reminding her that their father would be displeased. The youngest sister, however, is determined to have fun and continues her fiery barrage, albeit with a promise to spare Akira's life.
The third daughter takes over, and the youngest, disappointed, leaves the fight. Akira, though relieved, is now faced with a new challenge. The third daughter approaches him slowly, removing her hands from her yukata, and then suddenly unleashes a speed blitz, catching Akira off guard.
Before he can react, she lands a powerful punch to his stomach, sending him crashing through multiple buildings within the mansion. This daughter's speed and strength are impressive, and Akira is struggling to keep up.
The third sister questions whether Akira is dead, but the fourth-born sister confidently asserts that he must be, given the force of her punch. However, Akira surprisingly emerges from the rubble, his injuries rapidly healing.
Akira then reveals his understanding of their abilities, explaining that magic is fueled by imagination and that the sisters are using fire to enhance their physical strength and speed. The third sister is impressed by Akira's insight and smiles, acknowledging his correctness.
Emboldened, she unleashes another speed blitz, attempting to punch Akira once more. This time, Akira is prepared and manages to catch her fist with both hands, but the force still sends him flying backward. Though he lands gracefully, he coughs up blood, indicating the severity of the impact.
Akira, despite being battered, chuckles and cleans the blood from his mouth. He looks at the third sister and says, "Looks like I caught your attack." The sister, however, dismisses it as luck and unleashes another punch, this time to Akira's face. Although Akira catches the punch again, the force sends him flying back, and his hand is mangled from the impact.
As Akira regenerates his hand, he retorts, "Does it look like luck?" The sister, who had been worried, calms down and smiles, acknowledging Akira's abilities. However, she also reveals her trump card: she can infuse her fire with her mana to achieve rocket-like speed and impact. She warns Akira that catching and regenerating won't be enough, as he'll eventually run out of mana.
The plot thickens!
Akira, aware of his mana limitations, reveals he has a trump card of his own. The second sister, disapproving of the violence, looks on in disgust. Meanwhile, the third sister charges at Akira, but he dodges and touches her face, saying "Laceration." Initially, nothing seems to happen, and the sisters are confused.
However, the third sister suddenly bursts into laughter, and then blood splashes from her face, which begins to split in half. The second and fourth sisters are horrified, witnessing their sibling's face literally fall off.
The two remaining sisters are consumed by grief, shock, and rage, causing their mana to surge out of control. The second sister, fueled by hatred, vows to inflict unimaginable pain on Akira, even in the afterlife. She manipulates the air, unleashing a powerful blast that explodes upon impact with Akira.
The intensity of the attack is immense, and Akira's fate hangs in the balance. The sisters' emotions have reached a critical point, and their actions become increasingly destructive.
As Akira faces the wrath of the two sisters, the scene shifts to a tense confrontation between Mikage and his father, Takashi, the head of the Magata household and the Sorcerer Supreme of the fire mages. Takashi's words are laced with disappointment and anger, accusing Mikage of disgracing their family name.
Takashi presents Mikage with an ultimatum: either become an outcast or never show his face in the sorcery world again. This implies that Mikage's actions have consequences beyond his immediate relationships with his sisters, affecting his standing within the broader sorcery community.
Akira, having withstood the intense flames and regenerated his body, attempts to stand up, but his mana depletion takes its toll. He collapses back onto his knees, unable to move. The sisters, noticing his weakness, taunt him, saying, "It looks like you're out of mana."
Akira's situation seems dire, as he's unable to defend himself or counterattack. The sisters may now finish him off or toy with him further, given their advantage.
Just as the sisters are about to deliver the final blow, Akira's body suddenly vanishes, leaving them shocked and confused. They look around, trying to locate him, and spot Akira watching them from a rooftop. He casually asks, "How good was the illusion?"
Akira's unexpected disappearance and reappearance reveal his mastery of illusions, catching the sisters off guard.
The second sister, enraged, lashes out at Akira, but he calmly reveals that the third sister is actually alive, and the "death" was just an illusion. The sisters are shocked, and the "deceased" sister, realizing she's alive, breaks down in tears, thinking she had experienced the afterlife.
The sisters share a heartfelt reunion, embracing and crying together. Akira, witnessing this tender moment, decides it's time to focus on finding Mikage.
The second sister, still emotional, vows to settle the score with Akira, but he dismisses her threat, saying their encounter is over. However, Takashi, Mikage's father, appears and strikes Akira with a fireball, revealing his displeasure.
Takashi, seeing his daughters' distress, sighs and questions Akira's presence. Akira, determined and annoyed, declares his intention to fight for Mikage, drawing his katana. Takashi, unfazed, advises Akira to reconsider his words, hinting at a significant power disparity.
Takashi highlights the vast difference in power between himself and his daughters, implying that Akira, who struggled against the sisters, stands no chance against him. Akira acknowledges this disparity in his mind, recognizing the immense mana radiating from Takashi.
Despite noticing a mysterious black entity encasing Takashi's heart, Akira charges forward, only to be met with swift and merciless defeat. Takashi shatters Akira's blade and unleashes a flurry of rapid punches, followed by a kick that sends Akira crashing to the ground.
Akira, refusing to yield, stands up again, only to face an unending barrage of punches from Takashi. The daughters, witnessing Akira's unwavering determination, begin to feel sympathy for him and attempt to intervene, pleading with their father to stop the brutal beating.
However, Takashi's fury and resolve remain unshaken, and he ignores his daughters' pleas, continuing to pummel Akira with unrelenting ferocity.
