Scene 1 ( at the bank) 

A young looking man around his early 30s, carrying a little baby almost 2 years old walks into the bank. The cry from the baby took the attention of almost everyone at the bank. 

The man Trying so hard to calm the baby so he can stop crying but it wasn't working.. 

Then he quickly sat down at the customers waiting stand.. 

He sat beside a young boy who was minding his business by operating his phone.. 

Few seconds later the boy turned and looked at the baby..

Boy: awwnnn so cute! He said in his mind while smiling at the baby.. 

Man: stop crying now.. eeh baby.. stop crying please 

Just few minutes before entering the bank you were laughing. So why the crying now? He said while still trying to calm the baby.. 

Boy: smiled and continue operating his phone

The baby increased the intensity of the crying as people around began to momour.. 

Then one of the security men around came and tried carrying the baby but the baby refuses and cried more.. 

Boy: turned to the baby again and smiled at him... hi baby 😊 he said as the baby turned to look at who was talking... 

Boy: hiiii 😁😁 how are you? Stop crying okay. He said with a warmth and soft voice.. 

Man: just staring at his baby... 

Boy: Good boy! Dont cry again okay... fine boys don't cry.. ok.. 

Baby: stopped crying and was staring at the boy in a weird and funny way.. 

Man: oh finally he stop crying... 

Boy: smiles good morning sir! 

Man: good morning bro.. how are you? 

Boy: fine please! 

Baby: start to cry again..

Man: ahhhh ahhh... kelvin what is wrong with you? You just want to disgrace me this morning? 

Boy: hahaha where is the mom? 

Man: she's busy.. I mean she travelled! He said while sounding not sure.. 

Boy: oh okay... 

Come.. let me carry you! He said as he stretch his hands to the baby.. 

Boom! The baby quickly stretch his body.. wanting the boy to carry him.. 

Man: oh I see! He said looking surprised 

He doesn't allow anyone to carry him.. 

Boy: oh really? I'm lucky then.. he said as he carried the baby.. 

And he began to play with him... 

The baby stopped crying and was laughing with the boy... shaking his head and his body as normal babies use to do.. 

Man: surprised by the whole stuff.. 

Few minutes later it was time for the boy to meet one the customer care representative as h

Boy: sorry sir.. can you take him please. Its my turn.. 

Man: oh sorry... he said and quickly stretch his hands to carry his son..

Baby: refusing to go..

Man: 🙄🙄 come... joor.. 

Baby: refused again.. while making some noise.. 

Boy: ahh! I'll come back and carry you ok! Let them attend to me first.. he said and dropped the baby for the dad..

The baby suddenly bust Into tears.. crying and shouting so loud.. 

The attention of everyone was drawn again.. 

Man: oh God! Not again... he said as he stood up with the baby... trying to calm him

The baby kept on wanting to leave his hands... as he was throwing his body away from the hands of his dad.. while still crying..

Boy: talking to the customer care representative, then turned and saw how the baby was doing... 

Then he waved at the baby.. 

Immediately the baby saw the boy.. he stopped crying and laughed..

Man: 🤨🤨 kelvin... where did you know him from? He said to the baby as the whole scene was surprising to him... 

Immediately the boy turned back facing the customer care..the baby start to cry again.. 

Some minutes after the boy was done as he quickly came back and carry the boy.. and began to play with him... 

Man: sorry please can you help me take care of him? I want to see the manager and it might take time.. 

Boy: okay no problem... 

Man: thank you.. he said and left immediately 

About 40 minutes later he was done... 

Then he came out apologising to the boy..

Man: I'm sorry please for taking your time... 

Boy: its fine sir.. 

Man: okay where are you going from here let me take you there..

Boy: you don't have to bother sir.. I'm fine

Man: I insist...

Boy: okay.. I was planning on going to the mall! 

Man: wow.. I was also planning on going to the mall also.. to get some stuffs.. 

Boy: oh okay sir..

Then they both stepped out... 

Immediately they got to his car... his phone rang! 

On call.. 

Man: hello, we just left the bank now.. I'm on my way to the mall

Called ended.. 

Some minutes later they got to the mall..immediately he packed his car.. 

A young fair and beautiful lady walked to him.. 

Lady: why did you take so long like that.. you kept me under sun for hours.. 

Man: sorry.. the bank was kinda busy today... 

Lady: so did you get the money? 

Man: won't you even carry your son? Look at him reaching out to you but you're ignoring him

Lady: please, please please... I don't have time for that... 

Come meet me inside the mall

I'm waiting for you.. and don't take my time..

Man: but the truth is we're actually not married... we're about to before things got this way.. 

Boy: oh I see.. its fine..

Please take your baby.. he said as he wanted passing the baby to the dad

The baby refusing to go.. and immediately start to cry again..

Boy: ahh.. baby boy.. I need to buy some stuffs and go home ok? My mum should be expecting me anytime soon.. 

He said as he forcefully gave the baby to the dad.. 

The baby increased the cry and was trying to reach out back to the boy.. 

Man: I'm sorry please.. can you just help me carry him. At least till we buy whatsoever we want to get in the mall

Boy: hmmm... I have taken more than enough time here sir.. 

Man: I'm sorry.. I'll pay for everything that you need! Just do this for me.. 

I'm not used to kids. 

Boy: hmm you don't have to pay for what I'll buy.. but I'll still help you..

Let go.. he said and collected the baby back.. 

Why are you crying again? Eeh baby boy? He said to the baby as they all walked into the mall.. 

Immediately they entered into the mall.. 

The lady was almost done getting what she needed.. 

Man : babe are you done? 

Lady: yes.. why did you guys took long before coming in..

Man: your son was crying..he misses you

Lady: hmm ok..

Baby: mommy... mommy mommy! He was calling his mom

Lady: looked at him.. and then turned her eyes away..

Baby: began to cry... as he was reaching for his mom to carry him.. 

Lady: carry your son please.. so he can stop crying 

Boy: ma'am please can you take him.. I need to go get some things.. 

Lady: then she collected the baby from the boy.. 

Boy: alright sir.. I'll get going now..

As he was going.. the baby began to cry again.. wanting to leave his own mom to follow the boy.. 

Lady: kelvin will you calm down! She shoutéd at the baby..

Man: babe calm down na.. why shouting at him? He's just a kid

Lady: abeg abeg.. please don't shout at me.. please don't! 

Man; I didn't shout at you please.. ok..

Lady: take your son please.. she said angrilyy and almost threw the baby to the dad

Man: lizzy what is wrong with you? This is a child please. How can you throw him that way at me.. what if he falls down? 

Lizzy: excuse you... please come and pay for what I bought so I won't miss my flight

Henry: i have pleaded with you to wait for at least another year so you can take carr of this boy.. how do you expect me to watch over him when you know I'm always busy.. 

Lizzy: I told you from the beginning that we should abòrt the pregnancy but you disagreed... I almost lòst my life in the process.. now I got a job in UK and you're still telling me not to go?

Then Henry dropped him so that that the baby can run to his mom.. 

The baby quickly start running toward the direction he saw his mom as he was cryiñg so loudly that everyone noticed what was going on.. 

Everyone at the mall attention was placed at the kid.. waiting to see what will happen next.. 

Then lizzy turned and saw her son running towards her.. she paused! Because she noticed everyone was looking at her already.. 

Then she opened her hands wide so that she can carry the baby.. 

The baby kept on crying as he was still running towards the mom.. 

Just few steps to reaching the mom

Lizzy open her hands again to carry him.. 

Boom! The baby ignored her and ran to hug the boy from behind.. 

Boy: turned and saw the baby...

Then he turned and saw how everyone was looking at him.. the he looked again and saw the mom looking at him..

Henry: 😳😳😳 looking so shocked! 

Is that your mom? He said in his mind while watching everything.. 

Lizzy: kelvin come here... kelvin! Come to mummy.. she said as she was smiling and walking towards the boy to carry her son.. 

Boy: quickly carried the cryiñg baby up to his arms.. 

Baby boy.. how did you notice me? He said while smiling and looking at the boy..

Lizzy: kelvin come to mommy ok.. 

She said as she stretched her hands to collect the baby from the boy.. 

The baby refuses to go.. 

Lizzy tried several times but the baby wasn't ready to follow her.. 

People who saw everything began to momour.. 

Some Began to say. Maybe the boy is thier househelp and he's use to him already.. 

Lizzy: please give me my son.. she said in a rude way..

Boy: oh sorry ma'am... take..

He responded as he tried returning the child to her..

Henry: walked closer to the scene... 

The baby refused going to the mall.. as he cry out anytime the mom wants to carry him.. 

Henry: leave him please..he said to lizzy..

Lizzy: what do you mean by leave him.. 

Henry: you will miss your flight as you said before.. 

Lizzy: hmmm... I know but he's still my child I need to carry him before I go

Henry: just few minutes ago I asked you to carry him but you refused..why do you want to carry him suddenly..

They left the mall immediately as drove away.. 

While driving.. the baby was already 😴 sleeping in the boy's arms..

Boy: my name is Samuel!

Henry: saw a woman frying akara ( bean cake) at the road side.. besides her was different local and dirty looking food warmers, with some white transparent rubbers.. having different things in them.. 

Samuel: here we are! This is our company! This is the company I'm for working for and it belongs to my mom... 

Henry: oh oh oh... wow! I see...

Henry: quickly collected the baby from softly so he won't wake up.. 

Then Samuel went and attend to his mom.. 

Mom: kilode.. ( what happend) why did you stay that long in the market.. 

Samuel: hmm òrò pò mummy ( talk is plenty mommy) I'll gist you later 

Mom: who is that man? And why is he standing there.. 

Samuel: he's someone I met in the bank.. 

Mom: okay.. tell him to come sit down na.. let serve him something to eat.

Samuel: no mommy.. I don't think he will be interested in eating our kind of food oo.. this is is big man

He will eat.. then she stood up quickly and went to meet Henry.. 

While going Samuel was trying to call her back but she refused.. 

Mom: good morning sir. Welcome to our shop..

Mom: what would you like to eat? We have rice, beans, fried yam, and a akara 

Henry: oh wow! I will like to eat rice and stew.. with akara 

Mom: okay my son.. please come and sit down.. 

Then Henry sat down quickly watching everything.. 

Then Samuel's mom collected the baby from Henry and quickly backed him... 

Then they serve him the food and he began to eat.. 

Some minutes later he was done eating.. then he brought out his wallet to pay.. 

Samuel: you don't have to bother. This is a bonus for you.. as a new customer

Henry: no please allow me to pay ok? 

Mom: don't worry my son.. when you come next time we will collect money.. 

Henry: alright thank you ma.. 

Samuel: please bring his son.. he want to go.. he said to his mom.. 

Some minutes later.. Samuel sees him off to the car.. 

Scene 2( Henry at home with his son) 

Evening hour of that same day.. Henry was at home trying to feed his son who was crying so loud.. he couldn't take it anymore as he became pissed... 

He tried so many ways to keep him calm and quiet bit it wasn't working.. aftrr some time he got fed up and left the boy crying on his own.. 

Some minutes later the baby slept off... 

Henry: hmmm I can't continue to do all of this. I'm tired.. I really need to get a nanny.. I have so many work I need to do right now but I just can't because of this boy.. I might end up loosing so many clients due to this.. 

I just have to get a nanny at any cost.. maybe I should contact some companies who deal on that.. 

Yeah! I will do that tomorrow... 

He said as he opens his laptop to begin to work.. 

Immediately he inserted the password..

Boom! The baby woke up and began to cry again..

Henry: ehh Jesus 😐.. not now please.. kelvin not now please I need to work.. 

He said as he began to shout in angèr... 

Scene 3( Samuel's, his mom and siblings at home) 

Same evening too, Samuel was gisting his mom and siblings about what happened that day right from the bank to how they ended up coming to thier shop with Henry.. 

Mom: no be small thing! Well I'm not surprised about the baby own.. because right from small you love playing with children.. 

So how much did he gave for everything? One of the siblings ask..

Mom: common keep quiet there.. you think everything is about money 

I have told you guys to always emulate your elder brother.. see his mouth.. na only money you know.

Samuel: smiles.. I didn't collect any money from him.. even though he offered to give me some.. 

Mom: Good! You did well.. 

Samuel: have you guys made all the preparations for tomorrow food?

Scene 4( Henry interviewing few people that applied for the nanny job) 

Henry: hello good morning

Henry: have you done a nanny job before

Henry: so why did you quit the Job? 

They sàck me sir.. 

Henry: why? 

Because the baby and I didn't get along quickly..

Immediately they left he kept on thinking on what to do.. they he remembered Samuel..
