The sight of the building swaying dangerously was quickly noticed by sharp-eyed onlookers. Some of the more fearful ones immediately started screaming in panic, while the smarter ones wasted no time in running away, putting as much distance as possible between themselves and the collapsing structure.

'Oh my god, I just barely escaped being blown up, and now I might get crushed to death,' thought Sato, his face pale as he watched the building teetering in front of him.

Although he had avoided the explosion, the blast had thrown him a considerable distance, causing him to land hard on the ground. His entire body was covered in cuts and bruises, and he could feel internal injuries as well. Every part of his body ached, and he coughed up several mouthfuls of blood, making any kind of movement excruciating.

The situation could have been much worse if not for Zubat, who had used Protect to shield Sato from the brunt of the blast. Still, Zubat was gravely injured, with both wings hanging limply, clearly broken.

Despite the pain, Sato wasn't panicking. In the past, he might have resigned himself to death, but now, he had a trump card that could save both him and Zubat from this dire situation.

"Come out, Bellossom! Quickly, use Grassy Terrain to heal me and Zubat!" Sato said after helping to set Zubat's broken wings. He pulled out Bellossom's PokéBall and released her, immediately instructing her.

This trump card was none other than Bellossom. With her healing abilities, there was still hope for both Sato and Zubat to escape safely.

Bellossom, understanding the urgency, quickly activated Grassy Terrain in a two-meter radius around her. Sato and Zubat, now within the healing zone, immediately felt a soothing warmth, as though they were soaking in a hot bath. Their injuries began to heal rapidly.

Within just a few seconds, the pain in Sato's body diminished significantly, and he found that he could move again.

Taking advantage of this brief recovery, Sato quickly recalled both Zubat and Bellossom into their PokéBalls and, like everyone else, rushed toward the safe zone.

As Sato regained mobility, the building's swaying grew more pronounced, and it seemed like it wouldn't be long before the entire structure collapsed.

"Help... someone, help me," a weak voice suddenly called out as Sato made his escape.

Hearing this, Sato's steps faltered. He turned in the direction of the voice and saw a girl, about seven or eight years old, lying on the ground. A long shard of glass was embedded in her chest, and the ground beneath her was soaked with her blood.

Should he save her or not? Glancing at the towering building, which was about to come crashing down, Sato hesitated for a moment, engaging in an intense internal struggle. In the end, his conscience won, and he couldn't bring himself to abandon the child.

"Bellossom, quickly, use Grassy Terrain again!" Sato hurried to the girl's side, releasing Bellossom once more and instructing her to heal. At the same time, he pulled out disinfectant and bandages from his bag.

"Hang in there, it won't hurt as much soon," Sato said to the girl, whose face had regained some color thanks to the healing effects of Grassy Terrain. He quickly but carefully removed the sharp glass from her chest, applied disinfectant to the wound, and wrapped it with the bandages.

Just as Sato finished tending to the girl's wounds, the building's collapse became imminent. Suddenly, after a violent shake, the entire structure began to fall rapidly.

"Damn it, is this the end?" Sato thought in despair as he looked at the towering building crashing down. He knew it was too late to run now, especially while carrying the injured girl.

Was he regretting his decision? Yes, at that moment, Sato couldn't help but feel a slight tinge of regret.

However, when Sato asked himself honestly, if given another chance, he knew he would still choose to save the little girl. He understood that if he didn't act, even if he survived, he would live with regret, just like in his previous life. That wasn't the kind of life he wanted and that was not the type of person he was.

Of course, Sato wasn't ready to give up just yet. After recalling Bellossom, he carried the weak, blood-drained girl on his back and continued to move as far as possible from the collapse zone of the building.

Miraculously, after a minute of struggling, he managed to get the girl out of the danger zone just in time.

But what spared them from being crushed wasn't pure luck. When Sato reached a safe spot and turned around, he saw something unbelievable.

Floating in the air above the collapsing building was a black-haired girl around his age. Accompanying her were an Alakazam and a Gardevoir.

At that moment, the girl, along with her Alakazam and Gardevoir, was surrounded by a blue aura of psychic energy, emitting immense psychic waves. The entire building was enveloped in the same psychic energy.

It was clear that the reason the building hadn't collapsed yet was due to the incredible efforts of this girl and her Pokémon. They were using their power to hold the entire structure in place.

"Gulp... This... this is incredible," Sato thought in awe as he watched the black-haired girl and her Pokémon, using their psychic abilities to not only stop the building from collapsing but also slowly push it back into its original position.

Sato wasn't the only one who was stunned. Everyone witnessing this scene had the same shocked expression.

"Hmph, what are you all standing around for? Hurry up and help stabilize the building! My Pokémon and I can't hold this much longer," an icy voice echoed in their minds, snapping them out of their stupor.

The next moment, the trainers who had been watching in awe suddenly became energized. Following the black-haired girl's orders, they quickly released their Pokémon to assist in stabilizing the building.

Numerous Rock-type Pokémon worked together, using their Rock-type energy to create solid rock pillars, while powerful Fighting-type Pokémon helped place the massive pillars to support the building, bit by bit.

After the collective efforts of all the trainers and their Pokémon, the building was finally stabilized—at least temporarily.

Once the building was secure, many League trainers who had been summoned rushed to the scene, sending their Pokémon into the building to rescue the people trapped inside.

"Phew... it's finally over," Sato sighed with relief as he saw the building stabilized and the League members beginning to evacuate the people and tend to the injured. He handed the unconscious girl over to the League medics and quietly prepared to leave.

"Sir, please wait. I apologize for the inconvenience, but could you help us? There are too many patients here. Could your Bellossom assist with healing?" a Nurse Joy called out just as Sato was about to leave.

With more people being rescued from the building, the number of injured was overwhelming, many of them in critical condition. Immediate treatment was needed, but the medical staff was clearly stretched too thin to handle everyone.

Sato's act of risking his life to save the girl had been noticed by many, and they had also seen Bellossom's Grassy Terrain healing the girl. Nurse Joy had witnessed this and, knowing that Sato was a trustworthy trainer, had asked for his help. As a result, Sato and other trainers with Pokémon capable of healing were temporarily recruited to assist.
