Finally the long awaited day is here,am going to pick my son from the airport,is holiday and most kids are looking forward to spend the holiday with their parents
Is Saturday so I aren't going to work today ,I begged Ryan to booked their flight for the weekend so as to be able to come pick them up from the airport.
I quickly took my bath,apply some moisturizer on my skin ,wore a blue flower patterned dress with a scarf to tie my long hair into a nice bun on top of my head,after checking my appearance on the dressing mirror to confirm my looks,I step out of my room to meet mama waiting patiently for me in the sitting room
"Pls let start going am sure they must have arrive in the airport now"mama scolded me looking angry
I couldn't even wait for her to finished her speech I hurriedly open the door and the taxi is already waiting for us outside cause I already booked it online,on our way I asked the driver to stop at any gift shop cause I promised my son mark that I will buy him a present if he performs exceptionally in his studies and he never proof me wrong
I carefully selected a nice gift for him ,some chocolate and a tab cause he had been asking me for it
We arrived at the airport and their flight haven't arrived yet so mama n I just look for a nice place to sit and wait for them
"Mom,mom"raising up my heads I saw my son running towards me,I stood on my knees and open my arms wide for an embrace,we clock to each other for some minutes,before i release him to go greet his great grand mother
Mama wiped the tears forming on her eyes with her hands,she hugged n kissed mark forehead
"My darling I miss you welcome home,I made your favorite "mama side similing"
Thank you mama both of you are the best and I must make sure to protect you both
We both burst out laughing,that mark own way of reassuring me of his love for both of us
Looking at my son all grown up now,a quick glance and one will mistake him for the younger version of Nelson ,the both have some much resemblance.
Drafting my eyes away from mama n marks I greeted my long time friend Ryan he had been a nice friend to me back then in mama maternal country
He really played the role of a supportive friend and brother the brother I had always wished to have,

Mark gestures to me that is time for us to go home that he wants to eat his favorite that mama prepared for him,I gave him the gifts I bought for him and he was so happy that he couldn't wait to get home before operating his tab
We walked out of the airport as one big happy family unknow to me ,a pair of red eyes have been staring at us for a long time
