Ling Wei smiled as she watched Yun Shishi leave.
"Why don't you introduce Gu Xun to her? I feel like they'll make a great couple – they're both dramatic."
Jiang Jian nodded seriously, "I'll let him know."
Ling Wei giggled at his expression.
"Does this guy always have to be so freaking serious?"
Jiang Jian raised an eyebrow.
Ling Wei teased, "Ayy, no matter how stupid he is, his beautiful face makes up for it."
Jiang Jian chuckled, shaking his head.
"You're cruel, Ling Wei."
Ling Wei grinned mischievously.
"Someone has to keep Gu Xun's ego in check."
Jiang Jian smiled, pulling her closer.
"I think you'll be perfect for that job."
Ling Wei's heart fluttered.
As they drove away, Jiang Jian's phone buzzed.
Gu Xun's name flashed on the screen.
"Speak of the devil," Jiang Jian said, answering the call.
"Jian, brother, I need advice... on women."
Ling Wei's eyes sparkled.
"Put him on speaker."
Jiang Jian obliged.
Gu Xun began, "So, I met this girl online... beautiful, intelligent... or so I thought."
Ling Wei snickered.
"First date, she spent two hours talking about her cat's therapy sessions."
Jiang Jian chuckled.
"Next date, the girl turned out to be a professional cosplayer... in full costume."
Ling Wei burst out laughing.
"And the last one... claimed she was a vegan, but ordered a double cheeseburger on our first meeting."
Gu Xun's frustration echoed through the speaker.
"Second brother's (Han Yufan) guidance isn't helping! I'm starting to think I'm allergic to dating."
Jiang Jian laughed.
"Maybe you're just attracting eccentricities."
Ling Wei teased, "Or your beautiful face is blinding them to your... unique personality."
Gu Xun groaned.
"Thanks, guys. You're not helping."
Jiang Jian grinned.
"Meet Yun Shishi. She'll set you straight."
Gu Xun's voice perked up.
"Really? You'll introduce us?"
Ling Wei smiled mischievously.
"Consider it done."
