_Office Interruption_
Ling Wei and Jiang Jian discussed work matters in his office.
Ah Zhong stood beside him, attentive as always.
"I'll get the contract," Ah Zhong said, stepping out.
Jiang Jian's face inched closer to Ling Wei's.
She closed her eyes, anticipating.
His warm lips brushed against hers.
Pang!
The door flew open and closed almost instantly.
Ling Wei's face turned crimson.
Ah Zhong stumbled backward, clutching his chest.
"Master Jiang, I think I've gone blind!"
He staggered, dramatically.
"Since when did Master start interacting with women?
Talk less of kissing one?"
Ah Zhong's eyes widened.
"Did the apocalypse come and no one told me?"
Ling Wei giggled, covering her mouth.
Jiang Jian chuckled, shaking his head.
"Ah Zhong, your timing is impeccable."
Ah Zhong regained composure.
"Sir, I think I need hazard pay."
Jiang Jian smirked.
"Consider it done."
Ling Wei suddenly stood up "I'll take my leave now Mr Jiang."
Jiang Jian looked at her with tenderness in his eyes "I'll pick you up when you leave work."
With that they both went to their separate worlds.
