(1 months later)
Two young dragons were playing in a huge lair. They would nip at each other, butt heads and wrestle. One of them was around 8 meters long from tail to snout with glowing red and yellow horn, while the other was 7 meters long and had black horns.
A little distance away was another young dragon, also with glowing yellow-red horns, but with four of them. He was bigger than the two nearby, at 11 meters in length and 15 meters wingspan.
Yawn
"This is getting boring. " Caldor said.
He got up, shaking his body. His robust and sturdy build reavealed muscular arms and wide chest. From shoulder to ground he should be about 4 meters. You could see small scales poking out of his elbows.
Oromir and Vaghis stopped their squable and looked over at their elder brother. These two months hadn't been that bad. Oromir and Caldor had developed a pretty good friendship, and though Vaghis relationship was strained at the start, two months of living together, sharing food and occasionally playing and fighting had gotten them closer.
"She did say to hunt on our own. " Caldor pondered while looking at the cavern opening higher up in the cavern.
It was very high from the ground, making flight necessary to reach it. Caldor had already learnt how to fly, after tirelessly practicing for a month. His brothers had also recently achieved it, though they weren't as good as him.
Woosh
Caldor ascended upward, his wings beating with all his might. His back muscles ripled and his sharp but small dorsal fins on his back sawyed. He soared into the air and grasped onto the ledge off the entrance, peaking out his head.
The cavern entrance was on the side of a mountain, overlooking a dense forest. The tree tops looked like sea of green, with occasional clearings.
Caldor huffed while looking at the forest and sniffed the air for a moment.
'Found one. '
His arm muscles flexed before launching him upward. He flapped his wings a few times before holding them still. He glided through the air, just above the trees while folowing the scent.
After a few minutes of flying, he halted in the air, his wings sending wind flying all over the place. He spotted a figure making his way through the trees. It's giant form broke branches and tree trunks as it passes through the forest.
Roar
A huge man, with big goat horns sticking through the side of his head emerged from the recage. His 10 meter tall frame rippled with muscles, and his huge basketball sized one eye stared at Caldor menacingly. It waved a club as big as its arm towards him while laughing.
B rank monster, Cyclops.
'It doesn't smell like it's from this territory. Looks like it just got kicked out from its parents lair and stumbled over here while looking for a place to settle. ' Caldor thought.
"Big lizard, look tasty. EAT! " the monster roared before charging towards him. It leaped into the air, rapidly encroaching on Caldors spot.
Caldor saw it coming but stayed still. The club slammed into him, sending him flying. He crashed into a few trees, killing animals as he hit them on the way.
It took him a few seconds to recover, as he got up and shaked of the dirt on him. He didn't have a scratch on him. The cyclops on the other hand was staring at his club, or at least what remained of it. Some of the splinter from the club had pierced it's arms, but it didn't seem to mind.
They both halted for a second before charging at each other.
Bang
Their arms clashed, causing the surrounding ground to crack. Caldors head snaked around the cyclops and bit it's head. The beast toppled over and fell to the ground. It started violently thrashing and punching in random directions.
Some of the blows landed on the dragon, cracking scales. But in the next second, the scales rapidly healed, appearing like they were never damaged. It butted him with its horns once, but the horns broke on impact.
After a few minutes of thrashing and roaring, the cyclops grew still. The upper part of it's spine was in Caldors mouth. Blood dripped from the dragons mouth. Not his own blood though.
Picking up the cyclops with his front limbs, he flew into the sky. His flight was more laboured this time due to the extra weight, causing him to flap his wings with all his might. He lessened the burden slightly using his gravity magic, though he wasn't near proficient enough to even hope to do more.
__________
It took him around 15 minutes to reach back to the lair. The dragon mother was also there, sleeping as usual on a big pile of gold and gems. She woke up on his arrival and gave him a gentle smile.
Thud
After the cyclops body hit the ground, Caldor landed a little close to where his mother was laying. She extended her neck and gently touched his nose with hers. As she did this, a warm feeling spread from his face to the rest of his body.
After she withdrew her neck and went back to sleep, Caldor turned his attention to the cyclops corpse. Opening his maw, he took a bit out of it's chest and started feasting.

'That's good enough. Attributes. '
Tokens: 5
Scales: 11
Claws: 13
Breath glands: 14
Senses: 10
Wings: 12
In this past few months, he had steadily been growing stronger. Every meal he ate would give him 2 tokens. They were probably low since they were dead animals.
Over the month, he had accumulated 62 tokens, and saved 3, now 5, for later. These tokens had also significantly effected his growth. He now stood towering over his siblings, and was far more robust compared to them.
'I'll add 2 to scales and 2 to senses. And the last one to wings I guess. '
He had just finished adding the points, when he senses a presence approaching the cavern.
"Vaghis."
Flap flap
The dragon entered the cavern. His body was battered and bruised. His scales were broken, and there were bite marks all over him. He was clutching the body of two wolfs in his mouth.
As he lay them down and collapsed on the floor.
"What happened? " Caldor inquired.
Vaghis hesitated before answering.
"I encountered a large group of terror wolves. I managed to fend them off, but had to pay the price. "
Caldor sighed while looking at his brother.
'He must have underestimated a group of them when passing by them and attacked. He's obviously gotten ganged up on. Looks like they cut their losses short and let him of the hook this time though. '
"Terror wolves? "
A voice called out as a slight tremor shook the earth. The dragon mother landed close by.
"There are no terror wolves in this region as far as I know. Vaghis you idiot, did you venture out of our territory? "
The young dragon held his head down, not meeting the eyes of the colossal mother in front of him.
"Sigh. What am I going to do with you? Vaghis, pride is not a bad thing. It's actually required to honor you true dragon lineage. But there is a fine line between pride and arrogance. You must know your own limits. "
"Yes mother. "
The mother then bent down her neck, opening her maw and licking the wounds of her child. With eack lick, the wounds healed at a rapid rate, until only a few broken scales and bruises remained.
"Heal the rest on your own. " She said.
Vaghis nodded and went over to a corner, lying down and falling asleep. To dragons, laziness was always the best cure.
Caldor turned his head towards himself.
'My magic is improving at a very slow rate. Most of my skills are still at low proficiency. The easiest one to improve right now is... '
He opened his maw and aimed at the ground.
A blue-white energy gathered in his thought. Spatial mana condensed at a rapid rate, until at last it was released. A lazer shot out of his mouth with a low hum.
'...dragon's breath. '
The breath attack coated the floor, spreading around. After a second, the lazer receded, revealing a bright red charred floor that was noticeably lower in altitude compared to the surroundings. Caldor sat down on it, enjoying it's warmth.
This dragon lairs floor and walls were tempered through draconic mana over the process of decades. The average titanium block at 6 inches thick and wide would have evaporated in an instant. The dragon breath of a space-time dragon could destroy matter and warp space to an extent.
As the floor under him sizzled, he looked up again to spot Oromir also entering. He had a bear about half the size of his body clutched in his front limbs.
"Why's he sulking? " He nodded towards Vaghis.
"I'll tell you later. " He said.
Oromir grunted, and then walked over to his spot.
Suddenly.
Ding! It is detected that all of hosts attributes are above 10
Would you like to evolve?
N / Y
'Evolve? Do youm mean a breakthrough? '
Breakthrough was an ability of dragons where they would go into a sleep after intaking enough nutrition and/or magic energy. During this hibernation period, the dragons growth would be accelerated, and all of their abilities would be enhanced.
This process would mainly take place in young dragons under the age of 200. Since the older the dragon gets, the more nutrition and magic energy will be consumed to breakthrough.
'Well, it's not like I have anything else to do. Sure. '
Entering evolutionary hibernation.
Caldor suddenly felt drowsy. His eyes dropped, and his body felt heavy. Blue fire leaked out of his nose as he exhaled heavily.
His body gave out, and his eyelids shut.
