He opened the door where Zara sat and wrapped his hands around her, pulling her into his embrace as he carried her in a bridal style.
He managed to open the door, revealing Robert, his butler, who had dozed off while waiting for him.
Zayden made his way to his room, holding Zara close, her head resting softly against his hard, rock-solid chest. Her breath was steady, her chest rising and falling in a peaceful rhythm.
