I spun around, my eyes scanning the surrounding area now filled with men surrounding us with pistols.
I wasn't moved a bit but I could feel as Mia grabbed my shirt, her hands trembling with fear. "Who are they?" she whispered, terrified.
I wrapped my arm around her, pulling her close, trying to reassure her.
"Don't be scared, Mia. I have got you," I said, my voice low and calm.
But my eyes never left the group of men, their faces twisted, as they emerged from the shadows.
"Don't be scared!?" she screamed, "These are men with pistols pointed at us! Marco do something!" she cried out.
Marco scuffed, and I understood his action immediately.
I knew this man had been pretending to be my ally, he stepped forward, a smirk spreading across his face.
"Asshole!" I grumble staring at him
"I never imagined a whole big shot being controlled by a woman," Marco sneered, his eyes flicking to Mia.
