I glared at my phone as it rang for what felt like the hundredth time. I knew it was Mia, and I wasn't in the mood to talk to her. She would just worry about my wound again, and I didn't need that right now.
I know not picking up her call would be pissing her off right now, but a satisfying smile plastered on my lips as I imagined how her face would scrunch up in irritation.
Just then, Marcello walked into my office, handing me a file. "Dude, I have the latest update on Ricardo's stock losses due to the fire outbreak."
I raised an eyebrow, my interest piqued. "What's the damage?" as I collected the file from him.
Marcello hesitated before speaking, and I knew something was going on.
"It's... significant, but we have found some loopholes in their security measures, and we are investigating further." My eyes narrowed. "What kind of loopholes?"
