ISABELLA
I slowly opened my eyes, groggily taking in my surroundings to see it was morning already. The first thing that popped into my head was Camilla was she okay? Was she safe?
I tried to sit up, but a firm grip held me down. I struggled against the restraint, but it only tightened.
"Let me go," I demanded, trying to pry the hands off me. Instead of releasing me, he pulled me closer.
I felt a rush of panic as I realized I was naked, my body still sore from last night. I tried to fight him off, but he was too strong.
"Stop," I pleaded, trying to push him away. "You are hurting me," I grumbled again.
He finally looked at me, his eyes locking onto mine. "Are you afraid of me?" he asked, his voice low and husky.
I nodded firmly, trying to hide the fear that was threatening to overwhelm me. He acted crazily last night. Why won't I be? Threatening me with the life of my friends? That is silly.
