Eleven years had passed after my birth,l was now an adolescent.Bit there was one thing I never understood,and that was my parents were so strict on me.There never allowed me go out ,l am always in doors.Today l wanted to go out and explore just the neighborhood but they refused,so l became angry and went straight to my room.Within few minutes, l heard a knock on the door.l asked,"who is that's and what do you want ."Suddenly Shelby replied and said,"it's me dear can l come in.Then l replied,"yes Shelby you may."Shelby flew right to me and sat by me.She asked "Cyril dear why are you crying,l hope you haven't forgotten that you would be attending school today.Please get up and let me help you get ready."l then asked her ,"Shelby why is it that my parents do not agree with me when l want to go out.Am l to be indoors always.Why am l a curse to then or what ?"Shelby replied,"no not at all are you a curse to them but rather a blessing from God .Your parents love you very much and also care for you. Just that something terrible happened on your dedication.Just as your dad had finished spelling out your name to the guests,your great grandmother's wicked godmother,Senaila,appeared before your dad looking so angry to the extent that all her beauty went at once .Of course she isn't that beautiful .All the anger was because she wasn't invited.After talking to your dad ,Senaila turned to you and said ,"you little Cyril on your fifteenth birthday if you do not find a best friend who loves and cares for you ,l will destroy you and send you into the land of the dead.l became so frightened. Shelby told me not to worry,if l do not find a best friend she would know what to do.Immediately,Shelby helped me get dressed and ready for school.Before we left ,Shelby advised me and said ,"Cyril before l teleport you to school,l want you to know that,to have a best friend isn't through coercion (the use of force ) love and trust is binds two people to become best friends ." I waved her as she teleported me to school.I landed in front of the school's entrance gate.Immediately I went in ,l saw this new guy ,young and handsome who was getting his admission. He was so handsome that all the girls went on peeping at him.Surprisingly,when they left,l also went to peep at him . I mean just a little bit of peeping.Seriously l couldn't resist his handsomeness .I then heard he was being promoted to my class 'the 6th grade'.I then howled with so much excitement.But wait they hadn't finished,the principal also said,"because you are now improving in your academics,you would be sent to Section B of the 6th grade.And if you improve you would be sent to Section A but if you fail to improve you will join those in Section C .My join then reduced.Wait he hasn't finished.The principal continued,"when you go to Section B ,you will meet this kid who is also improving,Griffith.He has a dark color and is kind of obsessed."The conversation started to become boring so l decided to leave.But as was going the principal said ,"l also recommend that you befriend this boy uhm what is his name again,yeah Cyril Seyram,in Section A .He has a definite shape and is fair in complextion .I was so happy and shouted 'yes'. But before anyone could notice me ,l quickly run .As l was heading off to class ,l met the new boy being guided by my teacher,Mr.Alexander.l then asked,"Mr .Alex,can l help assist him to his class."Mr.Alex said,"yes Cyril you may .Oh you are such a wonderful person ,l have a meeting with the director. Thank you Cyril.Filled with great excitement ,l began excorting the new to his classroom.l couldn't stop smiling.The new boy then turned to me and asked,"is everything okay. "l then shook my head and made my face normal.l then asked him,"(clearing my throat )uhm please I'm Cyril ,Cyril Seyram,and you are ?"He replied,"I'm by the name Clifford Johnson."He continued ,"hm you were the one the principal was referring to."l replied,"l think so ."l then began thinking of what to say next because I wanted us to have a long discussion before we go to our various sections. Finally I got something to say."well you now Clifford,l really like to simply names,l literally can't find one for myself.Let me see ,ok ,CJ ,short for Clifford Johnson.How is it ?" Then Clifford replied,"CJ ! Wow that's so fantastic,now let me help you with yours,uhm CY ,yeah what about CY."l then exclaimed,"wow CY is so simple and good .Why couldn't I have thought of it.l always look at the first and second names,but actually you can get some from the first.Wow smart CJ."Clifford then said,"thanks! "l was so happy that l hugged him and he also hugged me back.But suddenly,whilst hugging,this strange flow of energy came striking through us .Suddenly we left each other.l asked him ,"did you feel that?"CJ then answered ,"yes."But we didn't think much about it.l held his hands as we continued to walk.On our way,l looked at CJ and said to myself,"I think I have found my best friend."When we reached our destination, we had to go our separate ways for l was in Section A of the sixth grade and he was well in Section B.So l bid him goodbye and went to class. Immediately l entered the class,l realized my seat had been taken.l then asked my teacher who was back from his meeting with the director.l then wondered how long l was with CJ or let me say my best friend.l asked,"uhm Mr.Alex,please why is it that my seat has been taken."Then Mr.Alex replied,"Cyril,threre has been a little bit of shuffling today ."l then asked him,"sir please so where am l to sit ?"Mr.Alexander then exclaimed whilst trying to activate the printer ,"Cyril,l have booked a seat beside the new girl on your right for you."So l went there to take my seat.When l sat down,l said to her ,"Hi ,I'm by the name Cyril and you are ." "Mia ,call me Mia. ",she said.l also exclaimed,"is it a short form of a longer one or ?Mia then said,"yes." I also said,"so can l perhaps have the longer one or ,but you know if you want to it's fine by me.I'm just an adventurous guy who is ready to get new things."Mia giggled and said,"Miachinzu Jun.Mydad got it from his favorite Chinese movie actress,He and my mom planned to give me that name.But l shortened it so other people would not think of me as a Chinese."l said,"Miachinzu ,wow that's a wonderful and unique name." Mia then said,"yeah."Both of us then looked at each other and laughed.
Time went on in school and the three of us came together and had fun every break.Of course l introduced Mia to CJ.Really our friendship was just building up.The sun had set and it was closing time .The three of us got ready to go home. Immediately he stepped out of the school, I saw CJ's mom who came to pick him up from school. When CJ went to her,she told him to wait for she had to speak with the principal . Then CJ called us over to his mom's car so we could have some discussion. As soon as we got to to the car, Mia's dad also arrived and parked his car close to CJ's mom's . Then Mia went to hug him and he told her that she should hold on , he had to meet with the principal. So we sat in the cars and had our talk. After some few discussions, Mia asked me, "uhm Cyril,none of your parents have come to pick you up." I then replied,"uhm let me see ,by this time my parents would be at work so my fairy godmother would come for me. " CJ then said ,"wo wo woo,wait a minute CY,did l just hear you mention godmother.l thought they only existed in fairy tales ."I then interrupted and said,"yeah but not with my family.We have specially been blessed with fairy godmothers .Let me tell you how that came about ; According to my godmother, my family when I was not born used to live in a town far far away. Then suddenly one day, a group of beast attacked them and many people died but few survived . Then the elder of the family communicated with God and He blessed them with fairy godmothers . But except for one godmother who did not have a master,until the elder pleaded for her,for she had been the only lonely godmother who did not have a master.But at last, she was given to my great grandmother who was sick and at the edge of death.Unluckily for Senaila , she became lonely again for in about two weeks my great grandmother had died.Senaila became very sad and refused to be comforted by any one.As time went on,nobody ever cared about Senaila.She became as lonely as someone in the middle of the desert.No one cared to even visit her.So due to this loneliness.Senaila became evil and wicked.All she wants is to separate everyone from there most cherished loved ones and up till now she is still trying to get revenge on others.So that's how we got the godmothers ." Mia then said,"l wish I had a godmother " CJ also said,me too,My life would be simpler if I had a godmother."Then CJ's and Mia's parents came back from their meeting with the principal.l also quickly called Shelby on my wrist watch.As soon as their parents entered the cars ,Shelby also arrived.I waved my two best friends goodbye as l walked towards Shelby . You know l also considered Mia as my best friend.l just feel that she is also a great choice. Shelby then teleported us and without hesitation we arrived at the entrance of my house.For we couldn't just teleport right into my room,my dad had installed a teleportation boundary defense around the house which is invisible.He did this so that no one could just teleport into the house.And most importantly just in case of any attack by Senaila.So for you to be able to get in, you have to pass through three scans and finally get to the password room.Like seriously even made my house evil prove .l can see he is really frightened after what Senaila did .Well guess what,the password is actually my name.Like when l found out that my name was used,l became so happy.My parents don't even know that l know the password. They think I'll just get out of the house anytime l want.Immediately we entered the house, I run straight to my parents room,but l realized that I made them start. My mom said ,"Cyril,you almost gave me a heart attack.fair a moment, I thought it was Se…." Then my dad interrupted and whispered to my mom saying,"babe,watch your mouth. You were almost about to say her name."Bit what they did not know was that I already knew about Senaila. My dad continued ,"son why rush in so fast,next time please knock.No hard feelings son ,you just rushed in so fast .Your mom thought someone had broken into the house." Looking sad l said to my dad,"okay dad l hear."then l went out of their room to mine.When l got there, l took of my clothes,took a shower and put on new clothes. I then threw myself on my bed. Quickly Shelby rushed in and I asked her,"Shelby,why is it that parents,my own parents were angry at me today." Shelby responded,"Cyril dear,you know after Senaila attempted to destroy your life,your parents have been frightened and worried about somethings."l replied,"ok fine ,let's put that aside.Good news Shelby.Guess what. " Shelby said ,"come on Cyril you know l am not good at guessing. " l then said ,"ok. News flash.I've found my new best friends and friend but friends. " Shelby interrupted saying,"whoa, whoa ,whoa ,hold your horses Cyril. Let's wait and see what happens. You'll never what might come about,betrayal ,envy, hatred,you'll never know.So let's just wait for destiny to take its place.Let's how much they love you ok. " l said,"seriously Shelby,rather for you to be happy for me you are rather trying to make me feel sad. O well no matter what I trust them." Suddenly,Shelby was being called by my parents.Then as she went,l followed her and to play with my little sister LJ(Lisa Jenail Seyram )Well yeah, I simplified her name as usual. She's so cute and playful.She's just half a year old.So as we were playing,l watched her crawl to the door of my parents room,when suddenly I heard my parents talk about something.l didn't want to listen to what they were saying but because of curiosity,l took LJ and leaned against the wall as l listened to them.Of course I shouldn't have done that because by all means Shelby would have told me if l asked but for once l just wanted to know on my own. Suddenly LJ began giggling,l quickly covered her mouth. Thinking that no one heard it , l continued to listen.But unexpectedly,my mum's fairy godmother Salsa came out of the room and saw me.l think l just got busted. My mom asked Salsa her godmother,"who's there." l tried to tell her not to get me caught but she didn't listen and said,"it's your son Cyril ." Then they all came out and my dad asked me,"what are you doing here,aren't you supposed to be in your room." I said ,"true ,l was supposed to be in my room but I got bored and decided to go play with LJ. So l watched her as she crawled to your room and that's how I got here.Don't take it as if l was listening to your conversation ." Shelby then looked at me looking so disappointed. Then my mom said,"oak I've heard you Cyril,now take LJ and go back to your room."Immediately I took LJ and my parents turned,I thought and said to them,"we'll just to be clear ,what were you guys talking about." Then my mom shouted saying ,"Are you kidding me right now Cyril ! "Then I exclaimed,"what mom,we are all one big happy family and we must not hide any secrets from each other, right ?" But before my mom could utter a word out of her mouth,my dad held her shoulders and said,"l think it's time for him to know. " My mom said,"no honey why now. " My dad turned to me and said,"Cyril,since you want to know I'll tell you. It was supposed to be a secret but as you said families do not keep secrets from each other. So here it comes,we are planning on building up a cinema near our restaurant. It was just o be a surprise but you insisted. "Then my mom sighed and said,"are you happy now. You just let your dad allow the cat out the bag ." I pretended to have been happy and hugged them. I said to them,"I'll be so glad to see it. " I left LJ with them and went back to my room. After some few hours of assignment and learning,l closed my eyes and took my nap.
