Power Of Friendship

This story concerning my life is going to be about my best friends.It all started when I was born but I remember it as if it was just yesterday.On the second month after my birth which was time for my dedication.My mom made all the food preparations and decorations along with some friends.She invited all our family members including their fairy "godmothers ".For in my family after you have been born ,a godmother would be chosen for you .My mom invited every single fairy godmother except for my great grandma's.My great grandma's godmother was kind of evil and wicked so she wasn't really invited.After every one had arrived and enjoyed,it was time for my dad to spell out my name to everyone.As soon as my dad had finished saying my name (Cyril Seyram),my great grandma's godmother appeared before my dad looking very furious.She said,"you Mr.Seyram had invited everyone apart from me,now you little son of Mr.Seyram,what did I hear you say his name is again yeah Cyril,on your fifteen birthday if you don't find a best friend who loves and cares for you ,you is ready to sacrifice his or her all for you,l will destroy you and send you into the land of the dead.There you will be full of sorrow and sadness."Without much haste my fairy godmother rushed in to banish my great grandmother's godmother but unluckily for Shelby ,my great grandmother's godmother had managed to escape.Everyone was so frightened,immediately the ceremony was stopped and everyone quickly went home.My dad and mom went back home with me looking very sad and worried .Theu said to themselves that immediately I began schooling,they must find a best friend for me even if it means paying someone to pretend to be my best friend.Then Shelby came in and said,"that's not how it works,Mr.Seyram a best friend is someone who really loves you and not just any ordinary person.So Cyril has to choose himself."Then my dad said ,"l don't care.l don't want to lose my son just because of best friends,no l am not ready to take that risk." Out of sorrow,Shelby came to sit by my side and began singing lullabies for me .
