Deon's time as Spider-Man has never been easy, but lately, the challenges are mounting. As he takes on more responsibilities, it feels like the city's criminals are becoming more coordinated and dangerous. Rumors spread of multiple factions—villains who had once been loners, now banding together. This is where Deon's unique challenge as Spider-Man intensifies.
Not just street criminals anymore, Deon and Peter are facing organized groups that are trying to seize power. These factions are coming together under shadowy leaders, using advanced tech that rivals even the gear the other Spider-Man himself uses. Rumor has it that some of the equipment these criminals are using could be stolen prototypes from tech firms across the city.
A major confrontation breaks out when two of the most notorious villain groups—the Underground(the one without Phin meaning no tech) and the Tech Syndicate—team up to target a high-profile Stark Industries shipment. So it's Deon and Peter vs. The Underground and Tech Syndicate.
Peter and Gankeand they informed him that the meeting would take place in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. The Underground had been stealing advanced technology from Roxxon and other tech companies, and they were now collaborating with the Tech Syndicate to develop a powerful weapon.
With a shared plan to infiltrate and disrupt the meeting, Deon swung across the city, his heart racing with anticipation to finally team up in a battle with Peter the OG Spider-Man. He spotted Peter already perched on the roof of the warehouse, waiting for him.
Deon landed smoothly beside Peter, both dressed in their Spider-Man suits, the air crackling with energy. "Ready for some serious web-slinging?" Deon grinned.
"Always," Peter replied, his expression serious. "We need to be stealthy. If they see us coming, they'll scatter."
Using Deon's Camouflage ability, they slipped into the shadows and scaled the walls of the warehouse. Inside, they could hear voices discussing plans for the weapon. They found a vantage point, peering down at a gathering of Underground members and Tech Syndicate enforcers, surrounded by high-tech equipment and stolen gear.
"Let's take out their tech first," Mercury suggested. "You can use Copy & Paste a to store their gear while i deal with some of the henchmen."
"Good idea," Deon replied, his mind racing with possibilities. "I can keep an eye on the tech while you create distractions."
With their plan in place, Mercury lifting multiple items in the air and even lifting the henchman creating chaos by them not being able to see her and then knocking out several enforcers with high speed acrobatic kicks. Deon activated his Psychokinesis to hurl small pieces of debris at the henchmen, disorienting them and preventing them from reaching for their weapons.
"Nice moves!" Peter called out, taking down another enemy with a well-timed punch.
"Thanks! Now let's grab that tech!" Deon used his Copy & Paste ability to pull devices and gadgets into his pocket dimension, keeping them safe and out of the Underground's reach while also finding tech eerily similar to what Phin was designing. They've stolen something big, and it's making them deadlier than ever.
Suddenly, the remaining enforcers realized they were outmatched. One of the leaders, a burly figure with a mechanical arm, shouted, "Get them! We can't let them take our tech!"
As they charged, Peter and Deon split up, using their speed to evade attacks. Deon activated Clockwork, slowing time around him and allowing him to weave through the crowd, taking out enemies one by one with precision punches and well-aimed web blasts.
Meanwhile, Peter engaged the leader, using his using strength and agility to outmaneuver him. The two Spider-Men worked in perfect tandem, creating openings for each other. Deon combined his Flight with his acrobatic skills, swooping in to assist Peter when the leader landed a heavy blow.
As the fight intensified, the Tech Syndicate's advanced weaponry began to power up. Deon knew they had to act fast. "I'll take care of the power source!" he shouted.
Activating his Psychokinesis, he focused on the massive generator fueling the weapon. With a wave of his hand, he manipulated the machinery, sending it into overload and causing a chain reaction. Sparks flew as the weapon exploded in a shower of electricity and smoke.
Deon and Peter regrouped. "What a day" Deon exclaimed, exhausted by the victory.
"Yeah, and we saved a lot of lives in the process," Peter said, giving him a proud nod. "You did great out there, Deon."
" Thanks but let's go grab some food . I'm starving!" replied with a laugh.
After some lunch, Deon perched atop a skyscraper, overlooking a Roxxon convoy below. His breath clouded in the air, but he wasn't concerned about the temperature. Christmas break was coming to an end, and he had to get back on top of his patrols, training, school, company, his channel, and focus on the threats still lingering over New York. Tonight was supposed to be quiet—until it wasn't.
His phone buzzed, and Ganke's voice cracked through the earpiece. "Deon, we've got a situation. Vulture and Electro are attacking a convoy with more stolen tech."
Deon took a deep breath, knowing this would be no ordinary fight. He activated his Flight ability, lifting off into the night sky and seamlessly transitioning into web-swinging as he darted toward the scene. As he neared, sparks flew from below—the signature of Electro. The air crackled with electricity.
Landing on a rooftop above the chaos, Deon spotted Vulture swooping down at the convoy with talons outstretched, while Electro blasted arcs of electricity, frying nearby power lines and streetlights.
"Looks like Christmas came early for these guys," Deon muttered as he dropped into the fray.
Without hesitation, Deon activated Camouflage, blending into the background and becoming nearly invisible. Electro unleashed a barrage of lightning bolts at the convoy, unaware of Deon's presence. Deon crept silently, wall-crawling along the side of a nearby building until he was directly above Electro.
"Time for some backup," Deon whispered, summoning his Stand, Mercury.
A silver, humanoid figure materialized beside him—Mercury, his Stand. Her gleaming body pulsed with energy as it mirrored Deon's movements. With a subtle head nod to each other Deon and Mercury jumped right into action.
Mercury shot forward like a bullet, too fast for Electro to react. It struck Electro with a precision blow to the chest, causing his electrical powers to short-circuit momentarily.
"What the hell is this?!" Electro shouted, stumbling back, disoriented by Mercury's speed.
Deon, still cloaked by Camouflage, smirked. "You've got no idea who you're dealing with."
As Electro recovered, Mercury darted in again, delivering a rapid flurry of punches, each blow laced with silver energy that interfered with Electro's electrical field. Sparks flew as Mercury's fists connected, shorting out streetlights nearby.
Electro growled and unleashed a powerful bolt of lightning toward Mercury, but Deon mentally commanded his Stand to dodge. Mercury's agility was unmatched, easily weaving between arcs of electricity with fluid precision. It then returned the favor, launching a barrage of high-speed energy-infused strikes, driving Electro back further.
While Mercury kept Electro busy, Deon still in camouflage turned his attention to Vulture, who swooped in from above with talons ready to strike. Deon leaped into the air, dodging just as Vulture's claws scraped the ground where he stood.
"You're gonna have to be faster than that!" Deon called out, activating his Clockwork ability. Time slowed for just a few seconds, allowing Deon to web Vulture's wings and throw a quick Venom Blast at him.
Vulture crashed into the ground, but his wings cut through the webs. He snarled, taking to the air once more. "You think your tricks can stop me, Spider?"
Deon responded with a series of acrobatic flips, dodging Vulture's razor-sharp feathers.
With a mental command, Mercury appeared by Deon's side, its energy radiating a silvery hue. Together, Deon and Mercury worked in tandem—Deon webbing Vulture's wings while Mercury, with inhuman speed, landed precise blows that destabilized Vulture's flight.
Vulture screeched in frustration, attempting to claw at Deon, but Mercury blocked his attacks with ease, its arms moving too fast for Vulture to counter. Each of Mercury's strikes were devastating, fueled by her power, sending shockwaves through Vulture's mechanical wings.
Before Deon could finish the fight, a massive bolt of electricity arced across the sky. He barely dodged it, realizing Electro had regrouped. The two villains had decided to work together, with Electro attacking from the ground and Vulture from the air.
"Deon, heads up!" Ganke's voice cut through the comms. "They're teaming up!"
Deon steeled himself, Mercury going back to his side. "Let's show them what teamwork really looks like."
Electro sent a wave of electricity toward Deon while Vulture dove in with his talons extended. Deon activated Camouflage once again, disappearing from view.
As Electro's lightning crackled through the air, Mercury countered with a shimmering barrier of silver energy, absorbing the electrical surge. Vulture, thinking he had a clear shot, dove in at Mercury, but the she moved with blinding speed, landing a powerful kick that sent Vulture tumbling.
Deon reappeared behind Electro, charging up his Venom Blast. He slammed it into the ground, sending a surge of bio-electricity through the pavement that overloaded Electro's powers. Mercury followed up by delivering a series of rapid punches to Electro's chest, each blow disrupting his electrical field even further.
As Electro stumbled, barely able to stand, Vulture tried to intervene. But Deon was ready. Using his Copy & Paste ability, he summoned a steel beam from earlier and swung it with full force at Vulture, knocking him out of the sky. Mercury followed up by delivering a high-speed flurry of punches to Vulture, sending him crashing into the ground.
With both villains webbed up incapacitated, Deon stood victorious, Mercury hovering silently at his side as they both reach their arms out to each other making a fist bump pose. The convoy was safe, and New York had been saved from another potential disaster.
Deon glanced at her, smiling with satisfaction. "Nice work, Merc."
Meanwhile, as Deon fights these enemies on the streets, Phin faces her own battle in the tech world. With Tinkers starting to gain attention, Phin's goal is to revolutionize advanced technology, much like Tony Stark did with Stark Industries. She dreams of creating innovations in clean energy, medical tech, and AI-powered machinery. Her company could change the world, but that's the problem—too many people want her vision to fail.
Phin quickly discovers that the tech industry is cutthroat. Established giants like Stark Industries and Oscorp dominate the market, but that's not her only problem. Older companies, threatened by the rise of smaller, inventive startups like Tinkers, are willing to do whatever it takes to maintain their hold on the industry.
But this leads to sabotage. Phin's labs are hit by mysterious cyberattacks, prototypes are stolen, and suddenly, her designs are showing up in the hands of criminals on the street—the same ones Spider-Man and Peter are fighting. Someone is leaking her tech, and it's clear that her competitors won't play fair. Tinkers is at risk before it even has a chance to take off.
Phin realizes she's being watched. Spies within her own company, possibly plants from rival firms, are feeding her designs to the black market. This is where Deon, still balancing his life as Spider-Man, steps in.
Deon is determined to protect Phin and her vision for Tinkers, knowing that the technology she's creating could be world-changing. But he's torn between supporting Phin and trying to keep her out of the crossfire, especially as the criminals he's fighting are using her own tech against him.
One night, Phin confronted Deon in the living room, her face etched with frustration. "You have to let me help, Deon," she insisted, pacing back and forth. "Some of the tech we've seen on the streets—it's my designs. I know them better than anyone. I can figure out who's behind this."
Deon leaned against the wall, tension in his shoulders. He knew what she was getting at, but his instinct was to keep her away from the danger. "I don't want you caught up in this, Phin. I can handle it."
Phin stopped, meeting his eyes with resolve. "You can't handle it alone. Whoever is using my tech—they're not just going to stop. They're targeting us, Tinkers, everything we've built. You can't shut me out of this."
Deon's thoughts swirled as he considered her words. Phin was right—he couldn't keep her in the dark forever, not when her genius was a core part of why they were being targeted. As much as he wanted to protect her, she was already involved, and they both knew it.
And he had one villain in mind that would put Peter's life in danger, Kraven the infamous hunter was going to be coming to New York and Deon had felt the rising tension every thinking about how Harry's death could have been prevented in the game if Peter wasn't on death's bed and the Symbiote wasn't passed to him.
So with that Phin started working on a new nanotech suit for Deon, something more advanced than what he'd used before. Meanwhile working on a suit for Peter who would need something stronger too, something on par with the Iron Spider suit, but enhanced to face Kraven.
The suit Deon envisioned wouldn't just offer protection—it would absorb and redirect energy, make them faster, more resilient. If Kraven was as relentless as Deon feared, both of them would need an edge. Deon could feel the weight of responsibility on his shoulders, not just for Peter and himself, but for Phin too.
Maybe Ganke could help him finalize the suit's design, making it better for both of them. He was one of the brightest minds he knew, and he's also the one who helped the og miles in the game with his designs for his suits.
Deon finally looked at Phin, his resolve shifting. "Alright," he said, his voice steady but thoughtful. "You're right. If they're using your tech, we need to figure out who's behind it. But we have to be smart about this. I'll work on new gear for both of us, something to keep us safe."
Phin's eyes brightened with determination. "I already have ideas for upgrades. Let's start designing them out tonight."
As Phin moved to grab her tablet, Deon's thoughts returned to Peter and Kraven. When Kraven made his move, Peter would need something stronger than his current suit. Deon was already sketching out the blueprints for a nanotech suit that could absorb his passive energy while Ganke was helping him design an Iron spider suit that would enhance Peters abilities in a way that even Kraven couldn't counter. He'd make sure Peter had what he needed, and when Kraven came, they'd be ready for him.
"Phin," Deon called after her, already working through the details in his mind. "We're going to take this tech to the next level."
