Chapter 27 - Chapter 27

Harry's thoughts were tangled as he walked toward the dungeons, his gaze set but inward. His mind gnawed on the anger he felt bubbling under his skin, knowing Voldemort was responsible for it, or something inside him that was. Meditation could hold it back, but was that really enough? Should he even be holding back, knowing there was a chance, however slim, that he could expel Voldemort's influence by letting it slip out through accidental magic? He could shake free of it, maybe even dodge the whole prophecy mess if he played it right.

But then, what would happen with two wraiths of Voldemort roaming around? He couldn't let that happen, not with what he knew about the horcruxes, where they were, how they'd have to be destroyed. He'd handle it himself when the time was right. Yet, right now, how to keep control felt like a puzzle with half the pieces missing.

Harry's eyes snapped back to reality as he entered the Potions classroom. Snape sat at his desk, marking essays, casting a sharp look up as Harry walked in. He merely pointed to the sinks where dirty ingredient jars were piled. "Clean," he said without preamble, returning to his work, the soft scratch of quill on parchment filling the room.

The jars were coated in grime, with remnants of whatever slimy concoctions they'd held before. Foul-smelling, crusted over with mysterious residues—it was enough to make Harry gag. But Snape was silent, a small mercy. Until, of course, he wasn't.

"Thinking you can gallivant through the Forbidden Forest like your father, are you, Potter?" Snape's voice cut through the quiet, laced with venom.

Harry shut his eyes, clenching his jaw as he muttered, "I went there to save my friend."

Snape gave a disdainful tut, the sound echoing across the room. "No doubt you'll find many 'friends' in need of saving in the future. So you think you can get away with it, just like your father did?" His tone was almost mocking, as if daring Harry to lash out.

Harry bit his tongue, forcing himself to scrub the jar of pickled eyeballs without looking up, ignoring the cloying smell and the urge to shove the jar across the room. He took a slow breath, letting Snape's words fade into the background until the room settled again into silence.

A few moments later, though, Snape's voice broke it once more. "Tell me, Potter," he sneered. "Have you tried to use any of your newfound potion knowledge on your fellow students yet? Perhaps for some…mischief?"

The insinuation hit him like a slap. Snape didn't think he'd put a potion on anyone, no, but it was the clear accusation, that same venom he reserved just for Harry, as if he expected him to follow in James's footsteps in every detestable way. Harry turned, eyes blazing with disdain. "You know, I didn't even know my father's name until I got to Hogwarts," he said, his voice hard.

Snape's mouth tightened, his teeth grinding at the edge of Harry's words. *Maybe you should stop living in the past,* Harry thought, his grip tightening on the jar. For the rest of detention, he kept his head down, saying nothing, letting Snape's words slide off him, as he scrubbed each jar, one by one, until his fingers were red and raw.

When Snape finally dismissed him, Harry left without a word, barely hearing the hissed insults muttered under the man's breath. Once in the dim corridors outside, his mind spun in a dozen different directions. He needed air, space, a place to get away. The Astronomy Tower. It would be quiet, and tonight he needed it.

The rain pattered softly against the stones as he climbed the steps, dampening the hallway, leaving trails down the walls. When he finally reached the classroom, he saw raindrops collecting in small rivers along the Tower's dome. He exhaled, letting the coolness ease him, casting his thoughts up to the sky and the hidden stars behind the clouds.

"Enjoying the view, Potter?"

He turned, a faint smirk growing as Professor Sinistra emerged from a shadowed corner, an amused smile on her lips. "Thought I'd come to look at the stars," he replied, cocking an eyebrow, his expression softening. "Looks like it wasn't in my favor tonight."

"The dome's enchanted," she said, her smile widening as she walked closer. "It can show you the stars even through clouds, if you know how to activate it."

He looked at her, curious. "But why send your class back down if they could have seen through the rain?"

She chuckled, a sound that felt like a melody woven into the rain's rhythm. "Some of them are best off in bed. The sound of the rain tends to…distract." She raised her wand, muttering a few soft words, and the dome shimmered. Slowly, the dark clouds seemed to melt away, and there they were—the stars, brilliant pinpoints shining in the vastness above.

Harry grinned, admiring the sight. "Doesn't bother you, though. The sound of the rain."

She shook her head. "Got used to it," she said, moving to sit on a desk beside him.

Harry felt a surge of curiosity, leaning back on his own desk, studying her under the dim starlight. "Staying up late," he mused. "You must be a night owl, then?"

She smiled, her eyes flickering with that unspoken allure he was so drawn to. "I suppose you could say that. I've always felt the stars were…calling, somehow. Even when I was a student here."

Harry's grin grew playful, his gaze fixed on her. "But without an enchanted dome, how'd you see them back then?"

She leaned back, crossing her arms with a sly smile. "I waited. Simple as that."

He laughed, shifting a little closer. "Waited, huh? I'd think you'd get bored."

Her eyes sparkled, catching the glint of the stars above. "Oh, I had ways of staying awake." Her tone was almost teasing, and Harry felt his pulse quicken as he caught the hidden suggestion.

"Like what?" he asked, his voice low, as he leaned in, feigning an air of innocent curiosity. And then, almost absentmindedly, his hand rested on her hip, fingertips grazing the fabric of her robes, his thumb brushing in a slow circle. She didn't move away. Instead, her gaze met his, a wicked gleam in her eye.

"Like a few…naughty things." Her voice was soft, her face close enough now that he could feel her breath.

He smirked, letting his hand slip lower, fingers tightening ever so slightly. "Ever try doing those things with a student?" His voice was just above a whisper, his face barely a breath away from hers.

She smiled, almost a purr, her hand coming up to rest against his chest. "Wouldn't have done much good with the ones in my day. They all needed a potion just to…rise to the occasion."

"Lucky for you," he murmured, his voice rough, "I'm not like the others."

Harry didn't hesitate. His hand gripped Aurora's hip firmly, fingers digging in as he pulled her close, letting his desire flare openly as his lips descended to her neck. She gasped, tilting her head, her soft skin exposed and vulnerable beneath his hungry kisses. He didn't hold back, letting his mouth claim her, feeling the sharp pull of her nails as they raked down his back. She clung to him, a faint moan escaping her lips as he ground his hips against her, making sure she could feel exactly what he had in store.

Her fingers moved to his belt, her touch frantic and eager, fumbling for a moment before she slipped it loose. His hands traveled beneath her robes, pushing them up roughly to expose her bare thighs, his fingers tracing upward until he found the heat of her waiting, already wet and wanting. She shuddered under his touch, her nails digging harder as he slid his fingers over her, feeling her hips roll to meet his hand. He grinned against her skin, feeling her tense and shift, every movement begging for more, her breaths coming shallow and quick.

Aurora's own hunger flared, her hands moving to his trousers, yanking them down just enough before her hand slipped around him, her touch both eager and tentative. The shock in her face was unmistakable, her lips parting as she took in the hard length of him, her eyes wide with surprise, a hungry smile tugging at the corner of her mouth as she looked up at him. He answered by pressing her harder against the desk, his lips brushing over her ear as he murmured, "Tonight, Professor, I'll give you a view of the stars you've never dreamed of."

She moaned as he pressed his cock against her entrance, sliding just enough to feel her slickness as her body arched into him, already desperate to take him fully. With one rough thrust, he buried himself inside her, feeling her clench tightly around him, her moan turning to a ragged gasp as he filled her completely, stretching her with a sharp, almost punishing need. Her body molded against his, her legs wrapping around him as she pulled him in deeper, her hands roaming over his back, urging him to take her harder.

Harry drove into her with a fierce rhythm, each thrust hard and relentless, filling the quiet tower with the sound of skin meeting skin, her gasps mixing with his grunts as he held nothing back. She was lost to him, her body moving in time with his, her voice breaking on his name as she clutched him, her nails scoring marks down his back. Every desperate, ragged cry spurred him on, her body writhing beneath him, matching him with a hunger he hadn't known she possessed.

He moved one hand to her ass, squeezing firmly as he drove even harder, feeling her body tighten around him as she teetered on the edge. She whispered his name like a plea, her breath catching, her whole body tensing. Her release came in a torrent, her cries echoing off the walls, her body shuddering around him as she came hard, her hips jerking as he drove into her with renewed force. He followed her over the edge, his release hitting like a storm as he spilled deep inside her, his final thrusts hard and deliberate, pulling every last gasp from her as he claimed her fully.

They stayed tangled together, breathless, the rain's soft patter against the dome the only sound as they caught their breath. Aurora's lips curved into a satisfied smile as she looked up at him, her hair a wild mess, her eyes still clouded with the afterglow. Harry met her gaze, feeling the rush still coursing through him, knowing they'd both remember tonight.

Sorry I had to take a long break because of an accident, I heard authors usually have those for no reason but now I believe it. Nothing serious happened just a broken leg and I could not write smut while my mom hovered around and was taking care of me.
