The kid looked beyond scared and agitated when he told Layla and the company what he wanted to say. His eyes shined with the knowledge that what he was about to say could shake the whole country…no, even the entire world.
Layla took these words seriously, and she looked at the kid with a certain look of disappointment and curiosity.
"When you say 'he,' I assume that you do not even know the identity of this man, right? In that case, how do you know that he is a threat to humanity in the first place?"
Layla's words made the kid falter. He bit his lip as he considered what Layla had asked him, and he realized that she was right. He did not know anything about the person he was claiming to be humanity's enemy. And yet, he had a feeling that he was right when he pinned that man as the enemy.
