Lei Yi snorted at Shi Yingjie with a disdainful expression and then ignored him. Instead, he focused on the group of young guys and girls who were here for the sect examination test.
It was only after a few minutes that everyone around sat down again. The leader of the Heihui Sect was there himself, so it was clear that something big was about to happen.
Other people have already started to send messages to their factions to call the higher-ups. And in just a few hours, the previous sect elders were now replaced with the respective sect leaders.
Even the sect leader of the Blood Root Sect was present. He was an old man with red hair, he was emaciated and was wearing a deep red robe. His name was Bai Ye
He came and sat just beside Lei Yi, and behind him stood Duan Chenguang. Shi Yingjie and Yan Da were standing behind Lei Yi.
"I didn't believe in the news first." Bai Ye said suddenly as he glanced at Lei Yi from the corner of his eyes.
Lei Yi also glanced back at the old man Bai Ye. However, he preferred to stay silent and look at the crowd of youngsters in the distance.
Yan Da looked at Shi Yingjie and then gulped his saliva, "Master, what is happening? Why is the Sect leader here?" He asked in a low voice that only the two can hear.
Shi Yingjie looked at him and stayed silent for a few seconds and then raised his shoulders a bit. "I think it's because of that crater that appeared in the Zusian Kingdom about a month ago." He whispered.
Yan Da listened to him and nodded. He knew about the crater, the Heihui Sect had investigated about it, and they only found a glass-like material that was indestructible. They have even attempted to create armour with it; however, it was impossible to mould.
'It would be better if I stayed silent.' Yan Da thought and gulped his saliva; he then glanced over towards Duan Chenguang, and a disdainful expression appeared on his face.
'I will teach this bitch a lesson one day, I will make sure that she screams my name as she bends in front of me.' He thought.
And Yan Da was not the only one with such thoughts even Shi Yingjie looked at Duan Chenguang with an annoyed expression. And if one looked carefully they could even find lust dripping out of his eyes.
He was also oogling her curves.
Duan Chenguang noticed their perverted gazes but decided to ignore them. She didn't want to enrage Lei Yi; after all, he could be considered one of the most powerful tamers on the continent.
Inside the Red Flower Valley, everyone had almost gone through the big portal and now it was the turn of Ye Xin and the group.
Ye Xin looked at Gai Luo and took in a deep breath, 'My first objective would be to find Gai Luo as soon as possible.' He thought and entered the portal.
The others looked at Ye Xin taking the initiative and also entered behind him.
Kang Huang was the last one to enter the portal among the group of five.
When Ye Xin entered the portal, his eyes turned blurry and he could tell that it was not because he was getting dizzy, but because of the fact that the space itself was contorting.
He felt his body turning light, and he felt like he was floating in the air.
"Your test begins now; you have to survive for seven days and unite with your team leader; your merit points will only count if you are within a hundred meters of your group leader when the test ends."
"The place you will be teleported to will be randomly selected and will be in Red Flower Wilderness."
"The place is filled with danger; however, where there is danger, there are opportunities."
"Your life and death are in your hands; no examiner would come to save you if you are in danger."
All these messages came to Ye Xin, it was the voice of a girl. Ye Xin knew about all these things beforehand and he knew that he would hear this voice beforehand too.
Mao Roulan told him that they would give you all the rules again when you enter the portal.
Ye Xin turned calm and heard the rest of the rules. They even mentioned how exiting the Red Flower Wilderness before day seven would be considered an instant disqualification for not only you but also your team, if you are the team leader.
Ye Xin didn't know about this rule, which meant that this rule was added this year, and it could be the key to getting first in the examination.
Ye Xin knew that there were about fifty thousand guys and girls that would be taking the sect examination this year and only five hundred of them would be selected in the Heihui Sect.
The competition would be extremely fierce and dangerous.

Ye Xin suddenly landed on the ground as he fell from twenty meters of height. He was lucky that his body had strengthened a lot after getting Hong Hai, or this fall could have hurt him.
Opening his eyes, he stood up and looked around; he was surrounded by giant trees and greenery, but he couldn't see anything near him; there weren't even beasts or insects.
The area was completely silent.
"This place... It seems eerie." Ye Xin gulped his saliva and instantly summoned Hong Hai, he then flew above the trees.
"Aaaa!!!!" And just as he did so, a loud shriek reverberated in the area, and a ray of red light shot towards him.
Ye Xin looked at the light and his eyes widened in terror. He could feel earth-shattering power from the rays of light.
His heart skipped a beat and he felt like he was about to die now. However, his body was suddenly pulled away, and he barely escaped the red light; before he could feel anything again, he was already far away from that place.
It was Hong Hai that pulled him away from that light and now Hong Hai was dragging him through the air at a rapid speed.
Ye Xin looked at the red squid and could tell that even Hong Hai was scared of the thing that shot that red light.
In the past month, he has faced many strong beasts. However, he has never seen Hong Hai this nervous before. Ye Xin could tell from this that he would have really died if not for his beast.
'I got summoned to the worst place possible!' Ye Xin thought and a dissatisfied expression appeared on his face.
After about two hours of flying, Ye Xin finally landed on a hill and took in some deep breaths. Hong Hai also relaxed, and his previous nervous state turned to normal again.
"That's so unlucky!" He cursed and then looked at his squid, "Thank you, Hong Hai; I would have died if not for you." Ye Xin said and gently patted Hong Hai on the head.
Hong Hai circled around in the air; it was clear that he was happy because of the praise he received from Ye Xin.
Seeing him happy Ye Xin smiled too.
"Haha.."
"Haha boss, this was great."
"What's great? This bitch broke too easily."
As Ye Xin was smiling at Hong Hai, he heard some voices from behind him, and then he turned around to look down the hill.
And when he saw what was happening, his eyes widened in surprise, and then some anger appeared on his face.
Below the hill, three guys were standing half naked; they were currently wearing their clothes, and on their feet, there was a girl who was completely naked and currently unconscious.
Her body was covered with many bruises and cuts and blood was flowing from her private parts.
'She might be dead.' Ye Xin thought as he looked at the girl; he could see her torn clothes on the side. And it was clear what these three guys had done to her.
Ye Xin then looked at the three; the guy in the middle had a bald head, and was fat; he was currently wearing a black robe and had a disgusted expression on his face as he looked at the girl.
The fat guy then suddenly raised his leg and kicked the girl in the stomach. "This bitch! She died before I can enjoy her fully!" He said and then spat on her face. The fat guy then looked in the distance.
Ye Xin followed his gaze and looked a few meters ahead, where he could see a small monkey lying there. The monkey was dead, and its legs were missing; Ye Xin could tell that it was the pet of that girl, and these three guys had killed them and then violated the girl.
It was a hideous act, and it disgusted Ye Xin to the core.
"Hey, there you fucker?! What are you looking at?!" Suddenly the fat guy spotted Ye Xin and pointed at him. His words were filled with fury and disdain as he looked at Ye Xin.
