Ye Xin saw her crying and then took in a deep breath; by now, her condition looked pathetic and pitiable. Her previous arrogance was nowhere to be seen.
He calmed down a bit by taking in a deep breath. "You were intending to kill me. So don't cry now." Ye Xin said as he saw the girl acting all pitiful.
"Please let me go; I will not do anything so stupid in the future, please, I promise." The girl started begging; she could feel the octopus-like tentacles circling all around her body, tightening with every breath she took.
Ye Xin saw her and took in a few more deep breaths to calm down.
"What is your name?" He asked.
"I... I am Xue Wen." The pink-haired girl said in a choked voice.
Ye Xin's brows twitched when he heard her name. 'She is the opposite of her name. I wonder what her parents must have thought before they gave her such a name.' He thought and sighed.
"Xue Wen, I will let you leave, but if you do anything stupid, then it will not end with just some slaps this time. I will kill you." By the end of his sentence, his tone got chillier.
Xue Wen heard his words and gulped her saliva in terror. She could tell that Ye Xin was not joking.
"Yes, I will not do anything." She nodded as more tears fell from her eyes.
Ye Xin stood up, and after calming down, he told Hong Hai to loosen the grip around her body.
Slap!
He slapped her again just as she got free from her binds.
"You... I mean why did you slap me again?" She looked at Ye Xin with teary eyes.
"I was just feeling like it." Ye Xin said in a nonchalant tone and started whistling. He then slapped the rabbit on the back of its head, and it turned unconscious. "Get lost and don't dare to show me your face again." He said and threw the rabbit in her embrace.
Xue Wen caught Bai Bai gently and looked at Ye Xin with hatred. "Why did you hurt him so badly? Look, he is unconscious." Her eyes were red.
Ye Xin forced a fake smile at her words.
Slap!
And slapped her again.
"I said get lost." He looked at her with an icy glare.
With more tears falling from her eyes, she stopped speaking and started moving away; in just a few seconds, she was gone from Ye Xin's gaze, and only her suppressed sobs echoed through the wilderness for a few more seconds, and even they were gone soon.
After she left Ye Xin sighed and relaxed. He then looked at Hong Hai. "You saved me today." He said.
Hong Hai, as if understanding his words, spun and rubbed its head around Ye Xin's hands.
Ye Xin saw him acting cute and smiled. 'This guy is so reliable and cute at the same time.' He thought. "Let's go and find Gai Luo; he must be in some sort of trouble for him not to reply to my call." A solemn expression appeared on Ye Xin's face.
Hong Hai moved away from Ye Xin and nodded.
"Lift me, it would be easier for us to find him from above." Ye Xin said and looked at the sky.
Hong Hai understood his words and moved some of its arms to wrap around Ye Xin's body, and soon enough, they were high in the sky, looking for Gai Luo.
About five kilometers away from their position, Gai Luo was standing on a patch of sand; he was already out of the swamp.
There were many bruises on his body and blood was even dripping from the corner of his lips. He looked haggard and was taking in deep breaths. Xiao Sha stood beside him, growling, and on Xiao Sha's back were seven dead Striped Boars hanging from ropes.
"Hahaha... Now where will you run? This is the end, you should have given us your boars when you had time." A guy with a goatee said that he was standing in front of Gai Luo.
Besides, the guy stood two more people. One of them was a girl in purple chengogasm, and the other one was a guy in a green robe.
All three of them had arrogant expressions on their faces as they looked at Gai Luo with mocking smiles.
Besides these three were also three beasts. The middle one had a crow on his shoulder that looked like it was a normal crow, but there was something else about it.
The girl had a giant anaconda with her, and the anaconda had three horns; it looked menacing as it silently crawled around her.
And the guy with a green robe had a strange humanoid beast with him; his beast was the most eerie one. It was completely red with black accents on its body, and two devil teeth were coming out of its lips. The beast had no eyes; however, its ears were extremely big.
The legs of the beast were crooked and looked hideous. It faced Gai Luo and growled with its wide mouth.
"I would never give up my gains to the fools like you!" Gai Luo clenched his fist and a determined expression appeared on his face.
"Xiao Sha attack!" Gai Luo said as he pointed at the three of them in the distance.
The Sand Eater growled and opened its mouth; a ray of fast-paced sand moved towards the three of them at rapid speed.
The three of them gritted their teeth and dodged the attack with the help of their beasts.
"He still has so much energy left Jiang You?!" The guy in green said to the guy with the goatee.
Jiang You looked at the guy in green and gritted his teeth. "Master Xue Yong, it's just a matter of a few more minutes, I am sure that he will be out of energy by then." He said.
Jiang You then looked at the girl in purple chengogasm. "Miss Luo Xiaoli let's attack together again." He shouted and also looked back at Xue Yong.
The three of them nodded in unison.
"Go!"
"Attack!"
"Kill!"
All three of them pointed at Gai Luo and Xiao Sha and ordered their pets to attack them.
The big python opened its mouth and purple coloured thorns appeared in its mouth that shot towards Gai Luo and his sand eater at a rapid pace.
The Crow Flew up in the air and its body split into many different crows, it was clear that they were its clones and then all of the crows rapidly flew towards Gai Luo.
The Red Beast was no different. It shot up on its weird legs and ran towards Gai Luo at a rapid pace, one could see the fire burning in its clawed hands.
Gai Luo looked at the three attackers and gulped his saliva. 'I can't call Ye Xin or he would be implicated with me too. He can't die here with me.' He thought and gritted his teeth.
He then looked at his Sand Eater. "Xiao Sha, let's show them that we won't be bullied so easily!" He said and then looked at the three attackers with hatred in his eyes.
"Sand Wall!" He yelled.
And just as he said so a ten meters big wall moved up from earth. It was completely made up of sand and it was three meters thick.
Boom! Boom! Bash!
The three attacks collided on the wall, and many cracks formed on it, however, none of the attacks got through the wall and reached Gai Luo.
The three looked at the damaged wall and gritted their teeth.
"Even our most powerful attack can't get through his defenses, we have to kill him, we can't let such a monster rise." Xue Yong the guy in green said with a hateful expression on his face.
The other two heard his words and gulped their saliva. "Master Xue Yong, don't you think killing will be going a bit too overboard?" Said Jiang You with a terrified expression on his face.
"No one asked for your opinion, just do what you are told. Me and my sister should take care of the rest." Xue Wen said with a disdainful expression on his face. He then looked in a different direction. 'I wonder what is taking so long for her to return? If she was here then killing this guy would have been a lot easier.' He thought and sighed.
However, soon enough a silhouette appeared in his sight and a giant smile appeared on his face.
He chuckled and looked at Gai Luo, "Fatty, it's been a good spar, but this is over now. You are gonna die now! Since my sister is here." He said and laughed loudly.
Gai Luo and the other two looked at the silhouette coming from distance and soon enough an image of a girl appeared, her eyes were filled with tears and there was a red print on her face.
It was clear from her wretched appearance that she had been slapped badly.
