"Smack"

A slap landed on Freya's face. Tears Welled up in her eyes as she looked at her husband.

"Get rid of that baby, I can't accept it" he declared pointing his index finger at her.

"But I thought you wanted this child" the tears threatened to fall from her eyes.

"That was then, I was blind" he laughed. Freya looked scared, he laughed like a maniac.

"But we're married," Freya declared decisively. She looked at the man she married four years ago. She had always wanted to carry his child, she was really happy when she found out she was pregnant for him.

But this man right here looking at her, is different from the man she knew. Freya moved back in fear.

"Aurora is also pregnant" James dropped the bombshell. Surprisingly Freya started laughing.

Who would have thought her parents' adopted child would snatch her husband.

"Aurora all the time, why should she carry your baby? I'm your wife" she yelled. Her head throbbed like mad.

"My wife," James mocked. He looked at the young doctor who stood beside him and nodded.

That's a sign of his approval to get rid of their child. "You can't hurt my baby....no you can't" Freya screamed.

"You think you deserve the heir to the Anderson groups" he mocked and moved closer to her " You're just an adopted child of the Baileys, you'll be disposed sooner or later" he inserted his hand in his pocket.

Few hours ago,Freya would drool if he did that but now he looked so disgusting.

"But I'm still the biological daughter," she smiled. She's not surprised, her parents would choose her fake sister Aurora over her.

She's the abandoned daughter of her family. No one would believe she's the daughter of the Baileys. When she got married to her husband James Anderson, she thought she found a home. After two years, he stopped caring but she still loved him.

The private door of the operating room was opened, her mother and adopted sister Aurora walked in.

Aurora wore a white dress and carried a black Louis Vuitton handbag. she looked at Freya in disgust.

Freya struggled real hard to survive but the effect of anesthesia made her struggles in vain.

"Mom, I'm scared I don't want her to die on the operating table" Aurora pleaded, but the brain conscious Freya knew she was fake.

"No, you have to marry James, you're our beautiful daughter and you deserve better, " her mother explained.

She's part of the plan to kill her biological daughter?

"I'm scared," Aurora shivered. Mrs Bailey brought her close and hugged her tightly.

"She's sacrificing for you my beautiful daughter" her mother encouraged Aurora who had a sly smile on her face.

The doctor injected her with a drugs she knows nothing of "Are you sure she'll lose the child" Aurora confirmed to be sure and the doctor nodded

Both mother and daughter duo walked out of the operating room elegantly. "we have nothing to do here, after all her family wants her dead" one of the doctors encouraged. The others agreed and walked out of the theatre room leaving Freya to bleed to death.

God please I don't want to die" she prayed silently. Her vision gradually turned black as she finally lost consciousness.

Pain!

Her head was in so much pain.

Freya suddenly opened her eyes and saw a pair of green eyes looking at her. This moment Freya was shocked beyond explanation.

What's going on?

I died on the operating table!

She was supposed to be dead on the operating table. How did she end up here? And her parents here in the restaurant with her? It happened five years ago.

Her brain momentarily stopped functioning as she looked around. To her surprise she found herself in the restaurant where she met her parents for the first time five years ago.

Freya suddenly realized she had not died but had been given a second chance.

Her story starts now, she will surely right her wrong and make them pay. she won't be that little naive girl they can step on.

Freya looked so happy to meet with her parents after being an orphan for so long. She craved family love. Her parents looked at her Like dirt when they came, but she thought it was because she was dirty and didn't blame them.

"She's our daughter?" Her mother looked at her in disgust. "She can never change," Freya mocked

"What did you say?" her father questioned. she gave a side smile, "You looked unhappy to see me, then you should go back" Freya declared and got up.

"No please," her father begged. she smiled, this never happened in her first life instead she was the one begging them to stay. She was so desperate for love that she made herself weak but now is not the time.

Her parents are here to find her because of her grandfather. Her father wants the company to be passed down to him and the condition was to find her.

she sat down back and crossed her arm over her chest.

"I have a lot of work to do, I'm busy. You know I have to fend for myself" she declared. Her mother looked at her in disgust "Do you think I want you? we're only here because of your grandpa" her mother mocked expecting a young girl who lacked love to feel bad but to her surprise Freya laughed

"You want me to put in good words for you so you can get the company? How bout you ask your adopted daughter for help" Freya mocked.

Her father clenched his fist but hid his anger. Freya knew her father wouldn't act unreasonably but her mother would do,so she tried to trigger her father to caution her mother.

"You're already declared our daughter. You can't change it" her father said in a threatening tone. In the past, If he used this tone for her, she'll shiver in fear and do his bidding but she's here to piss them off this time. She wants everyone to know she's not a pushover.

"I'm an adult,I can make my decisions and even the court can't stop me." Freya smiled wickedly. "But what about your grandfather?" she used the same threatening tone for him.

Mr Bailey knew this girl isn't just a country bumpkin but she's really difficult to reason with. "Darling let's leave, Aurora would be worried" her mother tried to drag her father up.

Freya clenched her fist, she knew this woman wouldn't change but she wished her mother would open her heart to her.

"state your conditions" her father knew things like this work really well. Freya smiled "he's smart" she muttered.

"Take me to the Anderson's gala dinner tonight" she requested. In her past life, she was locked up in the house and she did the cleaning Like a maid. she thought she did the right thing then but now, she'll make friends and meet people.

"What? Don't even dream of entering the Anderson family." her mother scoffed. Freya only said that to see her reaction but this was not what she expected.

She didn't know about any gala dinner in her past life but now it seems Mrs Bailey who encouraged her to marry James then doesn't want her anywhere closer to James now.

"Then why was I allowed to marry him then " she thought. "Anderson?" she asked her mother who scoffed.

"You lack manners, child. You should kiss our feet for coming here to see you" her mother bragged. Freya smirked. Her mother said the exact words in her past life. she remembered she kissed her shoes then happily. She thought they were the best for accepting her.

"You should be on your knees so that I'll talk to grandpa for your husband," Freya replied in the same tone. Mrs Bailey gasped in shock . This little girl is not what she expected.

She thought their biological daughter would kiss their feets and worship them but it seems their daughter is a crazy person.

How would she cope?

"Enough" Mr Bailey roared. His eyes were as red as a burning furnace. Freya sipped her wine. whether he accepts or not, that's on him not her.

"What if I accept?" he asked the young girl who looked unconcerned. He hates it when he can't control someone and that's what's happening right here.

"You'll announce I'm your biological daughter, mind you," she reminded him.

"No darling, you can't do that. Aurora would not like anyone to know she's adopted" Mrs Bailey pleaded.

"Is that all?" her father questioned her. She knew he would choose profit over his wife. She nodded her head like a little girl making a decision over her favorite candy.

she got up, "I'll take my leave. I'll wait for your call" she walked out of the restaurant.

In her past life, she ordered food. Her parents looked at her like a wild child but this time, she'll get a burger and chicken across the street.

She is a worker at a hotel which she later found out belong to the Morrison family.

She looked at the digital billboard that showed the richest man in Atkinson. He is thirty years old and the heir to the Morrison groups.

"some people are just lucky" she admired his little sister. she'll be the princess ...what an unfair world.

Freya entered a shop to buy a dress. She picked a brown Disney princess gown. The gown was beautifully adorned with pearls and sparkles. it shone under the light. she smiled, she's getting this with her savings. Hopefully she'll be the center of attraction.

She paid for the clothes and walked out of the shop. She saw her fake sister enter the shop and she laughed. In her past life, she never had the opportunity to shop at an expensive shop like this. All her savings, she got gifts with it for her family when she was told about her parents.

she was happy then that she spent all her savings on those ingrates. She stopped working too because of her sister who complained about needing an assistant.

Thinking of everything now, she feels she needs a breathing space. she will get married to a man with more power than that stupid James.

Anderson five star hotel:

Mr Bailey sent a car to get Freya. She stepped down from the car at the same time her parents and adopted sister stepped down.

Mrs Bailey looked at her in disgust and scoffed angrily.

Aurora's eyes were showing danger, she looked angrily at the beautifully dressed Freya.

"I thought mom said she's a country bumpkin" she thought. "if this continue then I'll lose" Aurora heart beat in fear.

Freya had a smile on her face, her father waited for her to come say hello but Freya stood waiting for her father to come say hello.

"Is that my sister?" Aurora asked, pretending to be happy. Her mother hugged her. "I'm sorry Aurora,we had no choice but to allow her," she explained. Aurora let out a sigh of relief. "It seems they still care about me," she thought.

She released herself from her mother's grip and went to hug Freya. She looked at the media who looked curious.

She's a celebrity and everyone knows her as the baby of the Baileys. she'll show this bumpkin the power she possesses.

She held Freya's hand and walked down the red carpet to the signing spot. Aurora showed a fake smile to the media. She wants to ridicule this country bumpkin.

"Welcome miss Bailey" the media greeted Aurora ignoring Freya who stood with a smile on her face.

If it were to be her past life, she'd happily be the backdrop for her evil sister but now all she feel for her is hatred and anger for revenge.

Aurora smirked thinking her dad still treasured her and would choose her over anything moved closer to him and held his hand "father...I'm sorry I didn't know asking for a companion would cause a problem for you" she acted like an angel.

Freya has a smirk on her face. She knew this old man was in a tight spot. "What are you talking about?" Mrs Bailey roared. The media looked at Freya in disgust thinking she's a greedy adopted daughter of the Baileys.

They started posting stories about the greedy adopted daughter of the Baileys.

The Baileys adopted a daughter for their precious baby Aurora because she needs a companion and the adopted daughter tries to steal the spotlight.

The Baileys should protect their precious baby from their greedy adopted daughter.

Those were headlines on the news. Aurora fans were ready to tear Freya apart but some people admired her beauty.

"Let's not do this Freya," Mr Bailey pleaded. "Stop Freya, you're hurting dad" Aurora pleaded almost in tears. This infuriated her fans even more.

"Who exactly is this girl? she must be a spy" he concluded, gritting his teeth. Freya knew what was going through her father's head and smirked.

Aurora looked pleased that she managed to torture the little girl and show her who's more powerful.

Mrs Bailey had a beautiful smile on her face. This country bumpkin knew where she belonged. She hugged Aurora tightly and smiled at the camera.

"Miss Bailey congratulations for having an adopted sister" they congratulated. Aurora smiled and walked in with Freya.

she whispered when they got to their seats "You're just a country bumpkin no one would recognise, not even your parents" Aurora declared.

Freya laughed. In her past life anytime Aurora said this to her, she would cry her eyes out. she would beg her parents to give her attention. she would try to explain that she's not in competition with aurora.

"You're funny. I heard grandpa still hates you. How would he react to what the media posted about me" Freya looked at Aurora who looked surprised.

"Did mom lie when she said Freya is a country bumpkin" Aurora thought. She looked worried.

"I'm just saying the precious baby of the Baileys. You will make your father lose" Freya mocked. She's only trying to trigger Aurora's anger.

She got up with a sly smile on her face. "How dare you" Aurora shouted.

Freya turned looking surprised. Everyone looked at the two sisters.

"I said I'll accept you if you don't implicate my parents" Aurora eyes welled up. The guests looked at Freya in disgust

so full of unnecessary drama!

"I'm sorry sister, I'll leave your parents. I didn't know you'd get mad at me for calling them my parents. Please don't hurt me. I'm so scared" Freya fell on her knees rubbing her two palms together.

She looked like a cat just brought out from the water. She looked weak and timid. She looked like the real pitiable one.

"Please accept me as your adopted sister, I've never felt family love. Please don't throw me out. please accept me quickly" Freya held Aurora's leg crying miserably.

"What" Aurora looked surprised. she knew Freya is not just a country bumpkin but a smart girl.
