"Homura Akemi, come in Homura Akemi, do you copy?" I said telepathically once we're near the cafe. I can see Homura and the others just arriving at the cafe and currently looking for a table.
"You're late..." Homura said, though her voice is a bit more nervous than usual. "Where have you been?"
"Witch Hunting, also I brought my date!" I said while walking with Kyoko into the cafe. "Her name's Kyoko and..."
"WHAT!?" I stumbled on the cafe door and I can see Homura tripping near the counter inside the cafe. "What did I tell you about Tomoe and Sakura?"
"Oh... You didn't mention her first name!!" I exclaimed in my mind before shutting off the connection.
"Did you just trip on thin air?" Kyoko asked suddenly. "If anyone ask, this is a dare," she added.
"Yeah, yeah," I walked towards the cafe counter and saw Homura leading the group to a spot at the corner of the cafe. "Also, Kyoko, if I tell you that Mami is here, what will you do?"
Kyoko narrowed her eyes and turned around. "Screw this..."
I rolled my eyes and took out a red soul gem. "I have your soul gem Kyoko," I told her.
The girl stopped in her tracks and turned around. She looks pissed and she will probably kill me if I don't have her soul gem. "Give it back..." she whispered murderously.
"No, because there is change of plan," I walked towards the group and I can feel Homura and Kyoko screaming bloody murder at me telepathically. "Oi! Mami chan! Madoka chan! Sayaka chan! Homura chan!" I exclaimed
The girls turned towards me and waved their hands. "Hi Haios san," Mami said. "I almost thought you couldn't..." her voice faltered once she noticed who's standing behind me. "Why is she here?" she asked.
"Oh, Kyoko chan?" I grinned a little and looked at her. She's currently facing away from Mami and looked like she wanted to grind me into a bloody pulp. "I met her when witch hunting and we fought paper dragon together. I thought about bringing her here, magical girls club, what do you think?"
Mami looked like she's trying to hold back from being passive aggressive. "Very well," she looked back at Sayaka and Madoka. "Sayaka, you said you want to ask a bit more about Magical Girl right?"
Sayaka nodded in agreement. "Yeah!" she exclaimed. "I'm thinking about being one."
Mami nodded and they both walked towards a table for two at the corner of the cafe. Madoka and Homura sat down on a table for four near them and I decided to sit down with the latter. Since, you know, Madoka and Homura doesn't exactly have a bad rep with Kyoko. Hopefully I can keep it that way.
"So, Madoka chan, what do you think of Homura?" I asked her.
Madoka smiled a little and glanced Homura. "She's actually nicer than I thought, she told me that she wanted to become a powerful magical girl so that no girl should take the burden of being one," she explained. "That's so heroic of you Homura chan..."
A red tint appeared across Homura's face and she looked down a little. "I think you're exaggerating Madoka san..."
"Oh, by the way Madoka, this is Kyoko," I looked to my right and saw that Kyoko is already munching on some donut. "Kyoko, this is Madoka, she's just a girl but she's planning on becoming a magical girl. Do you have anything to say?"
Kyoko rolled her eyes a little and swallowed her donut. "Don't be generous with your wish. It's your wish, make sure you use it for you own benefit," she told her.
Madoka looked up and put a finger over her chin. "Umm... But I don't think I want anything but to just be a magical girl..." she muttered to herself. "What should I ask?"
"Riches? Fame? Beauty? Any boys you like?" Kyoko asked.
Madoka shook her head a little. "My family has plenty of money and I don't really fancy being famous..." she tapped her finger a little bit. "Maybe I should give my wish for someone else like Haios did?"
"Or maybe you shouldn't be a Magical girl," Homura said. "I told you, if you respect my wishes you would not become a Magical Girl," she explained.
"But won't you need help?" Madoka asked. "I mean, you can't keep doing this all by yourself, you might need help."
Homura gave Madoka a deadpan look. "You do realize that I can stop time right?"
Madoka looked down and nodded a little. "Sorry, I just want to make something out of my life you know? I'm not that smart, popular, or very athletic. At least maybe if become a magical girl I can be of help to everyone else..."
Huh, is this how the most powerful Magical Girl is like?
"By the way Homura, have you confessed your love to Madoka?" I asked her.
Homura froze and her eyes slowly widened in shock. Beside her, Madoka's staring at me in slight confusion. Beside me, Kyoko is smiling in amusement as she munched on her foods. In a table a distance away from me, Sayaka and Mami were still talking with each other.
"I'll take that as a no then..." I muttered before sipping on my coffee. "Still though, you should really tell Madoka about your feelings and relationship with her prior from the loop. Have you even told her about the loops yet?"
"I don't know what you're talking about," Homura said after a few seconds of silence.
"You only have one shot at this, really not an option to be in denial right now..."
The time traveler took a deep breath and looked at Madoka. She gently tapped her shoulder and they both disappeared from existence. "Good luck! See you later!" I exclaimed.
"You're a sadistic little girl aren't you?" Kyoko asked suddenly.
I looked at her in confusion for a moment. "What do you mean?"
Kyoko smirked and shook her heads a little. "Nothing, just hope that you know what you're doing."
Hearing this I decided that she might be a perfect candidate to get in on our little plan. "Kyoko, some stuff is going on right now, do you want to hear it?"
"What kind of stuff?" she whispered back.
"I'm talking about time travels, witch conspiracies, and something like the Walpurgis Night," I told her with a slightly challenging tone in my voice. "You're up for it?"
Kyoko finished her coffee and put down the glass. "I'm always up for a challenge," she said with a confident smirk on her face. "Now fill me in."
