I sat down on a pretty comfy chair in an alien museum. All around me were dozens of paintings shifting through walls in a postmodern pattern. Elegant laser light dances on the floor below me, creating a mesmerizing view in all directions.
Wait, did I say Alien Museum? I meant Homura's Apartment.
"You know, with this kind of tech you can invest in cloaking devices rather than just some fancy walls," I commented while sipping on a warm tea. "Or I dunno, video games? 4D Home Cinema?"
Homura didn't show any response whatsoever. She just sat in front of me, eyeing me in suspicion, observing every inch of my movement. At this point I'm starting to get pretty uncomfortable.
"Okay, so..." I cleared my throat and put down my tea. "You've tried everything but you haven't tried my way, so please tell me about what happens in each loop."
"Why don't you tell me your way first?" Homura asked.
I smirked a little, folded my arms, and leaned back. "Well Homura chan, I'll have you know that I'm an expert at lying. Learned from the best, four hundred years of experience, and I've been dealing with lots of different situations," I explained.
"You're saying I have to lie to them?" she asked skeptically. "What difference will it make?"
I shook my head and waved my hand. "No, no Homura chan, you are not just going to lie to them. You are going to manipulate them to your cause, and that is, I assume, stopping the Walpurgis Night and Kyubei right?"
Homura nodded a little. "All right, I'm going to trust you on this, what do you want me to do?"
"Tell me everything about the loops and your relationship with everyone."
[LINE BREAK]
The next day...
It was five in the morning and I was wrestling against Homura for dominance. The girl, though taller and stronger than me, is much less experienced in hand to hand combat. I've already took the liberty of hiding her Soul Gem when she was asleep to make sure everything goes smoothly.
"Homura chan! Come on!" I exclaimed while hanging on her neck with one hand and holding some ribbons with another. I clamped her waist with my legs to get a better grip on her. "This is how you usually look right?"
"This is not necessary!" Homura exclaimed while struggling to remove me from herself. "They don't know me, this'll just spread further confusion!"
I skillfully tied the ribbon at the base of her long hair before deflecting slap. "Girl you are too intimidating!" I took out a pair of fake glasses and forcefully struggle to put it on her face. "Come on, just trust me okay?"
After spending ten minutes of wrestling, screaming, hair-pulling, and general intellectual argument, Homura finally relented and let me dress her up. I braided her hair in an adorable twin tail, gave her a pair of fake glasses, and make her put on some ribbons.
Basically, I'm trying to make her look more like a schoolgirl than an assassin.
"So, what do you think?" I asked her while dragging Homura in front of a full body mirror. She glanced at herself and looked down. A red tint formed across her face and she started to look more cute than deadly. "See? Isn't this more comfortable?"
"No," Homura said, though her tone is weaker than usual. "Just what makes you think that this appearance will help me appeal more to them?"
I sighed a little and pointed at her face. "Listen, Homura chan, you looked too threatening. People will fear you, respect you, or hate you. You're not looking for any of that, you're looking for them to like you. Okay?"
Homura nodded a little in defeat. "I will try my best, now would you please tell me where you hid my Soul Gem?"
"In your school backpack," I told her. "Now get your soul gem, prepare for everything I told you to bring while I prepare some breakfast."
"There's no need for that Haios san, I..."
"Shut it, you need some real food," I told her.
With that, I walked towards Homura's kitchen to look for some food. The kitchen counter is clean and tidy with only a few crumbs of bread here and there. There's also a fridge that's filled with bread, eggs, jams, and other quick to eat stuff.
I grabbed a bottle of mayonnaise, eggs, bread, and canned tuna. I also grabbed a pan, some butter, and start heating up the butter on the electric stove.
Then I poured some tuna on the pan and start cooking it. After they're warm enough, I added some mayo and mix them up inside the pan. Finally, I poured the tuna mayo mixture inside a small bowl and added a tiny bit more butter on the pan.
"Hmm... Should I?" I muttered to myself while looking at an egg. I shrugged a little, grabbed a bowl, and start scrambling the egg. Then I poured the egg on to the pan and used a spoon to make it more rectangular. After that, I lined up some slices of bread right on top of the egg so it sticks together.
A few minutes later I flip them over, pour in the tuna mixture from earlier, closed them up, and get myself some tuna sandwich. I put down the tuna sandwich on a cutting table, cut them into six triangular pieces, and decorated them with some berries.
"Breakfast ready!" I exclaimed while bringing the sandwiches on a plate towards the living room. There I could see Homura preparing some warm tea on a table. "Aww, you look adorable Homura chan!"
The girl sighed a little and sat down. I put the plate on the table and sat down right in front of her. "What did you make Haios san?" Homura asked while grabbing a piece of bread. "Sandwich?"
"Tuna Sandwich Done Right from yours truly," I said while taking a slice. "Also, are you planning to tell Madoka about your undying love for her?"
Homura choked on her sandwich and quickly down her cup of tea. She coughed a little and took a deep breath. "I beg your pardon?"
"Madoka, you love her don't you? That's why you kept repeating this loop instead of running away and let Walpurgis Night destroy this place, right?"
For a moment, I can almost see Homura trying to hide her embarrassment. She looks more and more like an ordinary teenage girl as seconds go by. "Stop with your nonsense Haios san..." Homura said.
I smirked a little and bite a huge chunk of my sandwich. "We'll see how you take this once I force you all on a double date," I told her.
"A what?" Homura asked.
"Nothing and you should really go to school. Don't worry, I'll be on a patrol nearby."
