Chapter 2 - "Did somebody put an elephant dose of LSD in my drink?”

I've been following Madoka and Sayaka since afterschool. I might be powerless, but I haven't lose any skill I've acquired from the last worlds. I'm still awesome at espionage and sneaking away without being caught.

Soon enough, I found myself following Sayaka in the middle of a dark basement building. There doesn't seem to be anyone here and I don't think Sayaka has noticed me yet. I gently tapped on her shoulder and she jerked back in surprise. I made a silent motion with my index finger with the most dead serious expression I can make.

The girl seemed to get it and gave me thumbs up.

After walking for a while, Madoka stopped in her tracks and we hid in a corner nearby. "Okay Sayaka, weird stuff is about to go down..." I whispered to her. "I need you to stay calm okay? Even I don't know what will happen..."

Sayaka nodded a little. "Don't worry, I have feeling that you're just trying to help," she muttered while scanning her surroundings. "You think this has something to do with her dream last night?"

"High to medium probability," I told her. "Now just stay silent and follow my lead. Believe me, I've been in a situation like this more times than I could count..."

Suddenly, a white cat dropped from the vent right in front of Madoka. The girl gently picked up the cat and whispered something to it. Then a certain dark haired assassin appeared out of thin air and walked towards Madoka.

"Homura..." Sayaka muttered in suspicion. "What does she want? And what is that cat?"

"I don't know but I know that she wants me and the cat dead," I replied while looking around for any weapons.

"We have to stop her..." Sayaka looked at me for a moment. "I'll distract her, you go and get Madoka to safety," she explained.

"I'll try and get closer, don't worry, I don't think she'll hurt you," I told her before sneaking my way closer towards Madoka. I waited for Sayaka to give the distraction while I think up the nearest route out of this place.

"Take this!" Sayaka exclaimed as she sprayed the girl with the fire extinguisher.

I revealed myself and grabbed Madoka's hand. "Come on Madoka!" I exclaimed and led her away from the crazy assassin. "How's the cat?"

"Haios san! I-I think he's fine…" Madoka exclaimed, trying to keep up with me. Behind her, Sayaka was just picking up on our pace. "Sayaka!"

"I thought Haios told you to tell her when something otherworldly showed up?" Sayaka said with a smirk on her face. "By the way, do you know that weirdo? Is she an alien or something?"

I shook my head. "Nope! Never seen her before in my life," I told her as we ran through the…

I stopped in my tracks and looked around. Gone was the building, replaced by some weird dimension full of butterflies and mustached dandelion.

Wait, hold up. What the fuck?

"Uhh… are you seeing this or did somebody put an elephant dose of LSD in my drink?" I said when we're slowly being surrounded by monsters.

Sayaka looked around and grabbed Madoka's hand. "Yours and my drink I think…" she tried to put on a brave face but it's easy to forget that she's just a middle schooler. "By the way, isn't this the otherworldly things you've been warning us about?"

"There's something wrong with this place, the path keeps changing," Madoka whispered in slight fear.

"In the event of anomalous space time and alien geometry, we have to stay in our exact location," I told everyone as we inched closer to each other. "Sayaka, keep your eyes up front and stay together."

"You don't have to tell me..." Sayaka said.

The weird things around us was about to close in when a powerful red aura appeared around us, knocking away all the monsters.. A blonde haired girl suddenly stepped into view from a portal. "That was close…" she spoke with a gentle and confident smile on her face. "But you're safe now."

"Reinforcement! Yay!" I exclaimed in excitement.

The girl chuckled a little and took a closer look at us. "You saved Kyubei for me didn't you? Thank you, he's a dear friend of mine."

"I was called to him," Madoka said.

"And I was stalking her," I added.

"Who are you?" Sayaka asked.

"I'd love to tell you but…" she took out a shotgun and blasted away an incoming flock of freaky butterfly heading towards us. "Let me take care of this first, just a sec..." she said without even looking away from us.

What follows next is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen in a very long time.

The girl did a little tap dance and choirs of angels appeared out if nowhere. Bright golden ribbons shot out of the ground and transformed her clothing into a beautiful white costume.

Then, hundreds upon hundreds of shotgun appeared out of thin air and floated above the sky. The gun start shooting simultaneously, obliterating any and all freaky creatures surrounding us.

Witnessing this, I realized that I should start figuring out how to get that power. This is exactly what I came here for.

Soon, reality stabilizes and we found ourselves inside that building again. "We're back..." Madoka and Sayaka sighed in relief.

It's not over however because a certain someone found us. Homura, or at least that's what Sayaka called her, appeared out of nowhere. She gazed upon us with those cold violet eyes of hers and a very intimidating aura around her body.

Our savior didn't falter; she just stepped closer towards Homura with a kind smile on her face. "The Witch has already escaped, you should hurry up if you were going after it," she said simply.

"I have other business here..." Homura replied.

The blonde sighed a little. "Too subtle? Let me rephrase that, I'll overlook what you've done this time," the girl said in the most calm yet savage tone I've ever heard in a while. "It's better if we don't get into needless fights no?"

Homura paused for a moment before leaving us without another words.
