Day 2: Public Tease
Violet shifted uncomfortably in her seat, trying to maintain some semblance of composure as Xaden's hand slid further up her thigh, hidden beneath the heavy wooden table. The hall was alive with the chatter of their comrades, laughter and conversation echoing around them as the group gathered for a meal after training. Plates clinked, drinks were poured, and from all appearances, Violet looked like she was merely enjoying her food.
But beneath the table, out of sight from everyone else, Xaden's fingers were working a very different kind of magic.
His hand had started innocently enough, resting casually on her knee when they'd first sat down. It wasn't unusual for him to keep some sort of contact with her, especially in crowded spaces like this. But as the meal had progressed, so had his teasing. His fingers had slowly begun to wander, creeping up the inside of her thigh, tracing light, barely-there patterns that sent shivers through her body.
Violet's grip on her fork tightened, her breath hitching as his fingers brushed against the sensitive skin just above her knee, and she shot him a sideways glance, a silent warning in her eyes. But Xaden only smirked, his dark eyes gleaming with amusement as he continued to eat, his attention seemingly focused on the conversation happening around them.
To everyone else, Xaden looked calm, collected, and completely in control. But Violet knew better. She knew that behind that cool, composed exterior, he was anything but innocent. He was teasing her, pushing her boundaries in a way that only he could—subtle, discreet, but with just enough pressure to make her squirm.
"Violet, you okay?" Andarna asked from across the table, her voice cutting through the haze of Violet's distraction.
Violet blinked, her heart skipping a beat as she snapped back to the present, trying to ignore the heat creeping up her neck. "Yeah, I'm fine," she said quickly, forcing a smile. "Just… tired."
Andarna nodded sympathetically, clearly buying the excuse, but Violet could feel Xaden's smirk widening beside her. His hand had moved higher now, his fingers brushing against the fabric of her pants, teasing the sensitive skin of her inner thigh. It was maddening, the way he was able to do this—carry on a perfectly normal conversation while driving her insane under the table.
"You sure?" Andarna asked again, concern creasing her brow. "You look a little flushed."
Xaden finally turned his head to look at Violet, feigning innocence as his hand gave a gentle squeeze just beneath the table. "You do seem a bit warm, Violet," he said smoothly, his voice low and teasing. "Maybe you should take a break. Step outside for some air."
His fingers brushed higher, dangerously close to where she ached for his touch, and Violet bit the inside of her cheek, fighting the urge to gasp. She couldn't let anyone see what was really happening—not here, not in front of everyone. It was bad enough that Xaden was teasing her like this in public, but the thought of anyone finding out? That would be mortifying.
"I'm fine," she replied, her voice a little too high-pitched. She cleared her throat, forcing herself to focus on the plate in front of her, her fingers gripping her fork like a lifeline. "Just… distracted, I guess."
Xaden's smirk deepened, his hand moving higher still, his fingers now brushing against the seam of her pants, just above where she was starting to grow wet from his relentless teasing. He leaned closer, his breath hot against her ear as he whispered, "You don't sound fine."
Violet's pulse quickened, her heart hammering in her chest as his words sent a shiver down her spine. She shot him another glance, her eyes narrowing in warning, but Xaden only raised an eyebrow, clearly enjoying the effect he was having on her.
"You're pushing it," she muttered under her breath, her voice low enough that no one else at the table could hear.
Xaden chuckled softly, his fingers grazing just over the fabric that covered her core, and Violet had to bite her lip to keep from making a sound. She shifted in her seat, her thighs instinctively pressing together, but that only seemed to encourage him. His fingers continued their slow, torturous movements, tracing the outline of her through the thin fabric of her pants.
"I know," he whispered, his voice dark and full of amusement. "But you like it."
Violet's breath hitched as his fingers pressed a little harder, applying just enough pressure to send a jolt of pleasure through her. She gripped the edge of the table, her knuckles turning white as she tried to keep herself together. If anyone looked at her too closely, they might see the tension in her posture, the way her breath was coming in short, shallow bursts, but no one seemed to notice. Everyone was too busy with their own conversations, their own meals, to pay attention to what was happening beneath the table.
And Xaden was taking full advantage of that.
His fingers continued to tease, rubbing slow circles over the fabric, and Violet felt her control slipping. Her heart pounded in her chest, her pulse thundering in her ears, and she was certain that if he didn't stop soon, she was going to lose it right there in front of everyone.
"Xaden," she whispered, her voice a breathless plea. "Please—"
"Please what?" he murmured, his lips brushing against her ear as his fingers pressed harder, rubbing her in just the right way that made her toes curl in her boots.
She bit her lip, trying to suppress a moan as her body responded to his touch, heat pooling between her legs. "You're going to make me—"
"Come?" he finished for her, his voice low and wicked. "Not yet."
His words sent a fresh wave of heat through her, and Violet's breath caught in her throat. He was edging her, keeping her right on the edge of release but never letting her fall over. It was infuriating, maddening, but gods, it was so good.
She squirmed in her seat, her thighs trembling as she tried to focus on anything other than the relentless teasing happening beneath the table. She could feel the heat radiating off her skin, the tension coiling tighter and tighter in her core, and she knew that if Xaden didn't stop soon, she was going to come undone right there in front of their comrades.
Xaden, on the other hand, seemed perfectly content to drag this out for as long as possible. His fingers continued their slow, torturous movements, rubbing her just enough to keep her on the edge, but never enough to let her fall over. He was enjoying this, enjoying the power he had over her, and Violet could see the dark satisfaction in his eyes every time she glanced over at him.
"Focus, Violence," he whispered, his lips brushing against her ear in a way that sent a shiver down her spine. "You wouldn't want anyone to notice, would you?"
Her heart raced, her breath coming in short, ragged bursts as she fought to keep herself together. The last thing she wanted was for anyone to realize what was happening. But gods, it was getting harder and harder to maintain her composure with each passing second.
Across the table, Andarna was still talking, completely oblivious to what was happening between Violet and Xaden. "You should take some time off," she was saying. "Maybe go for a ride, clear your head."
Violet nodded absently, barely hearing the words as Xaden's fingers pressed harder against her, sending another jolt of pleasure through her. She shifted in her seat again, trying to create some distance between his hand and her aching core, but it was no use. His grip tightened, keeping her in place, and Violet let out a shaky breath, her body trembling with the effort of holding herself together.
"Xaden, please," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the clatter of plates and the murmur of conversation around them. "I'm so close—"
But Xaden wasn't listening. His fingers continued their slow, deliberate movements, keeping her right on the edge, and Violet felt her control slipping further with each passing second. Her heart pounded in her chest, her body trembling with need, and she knew that if he didn't stop soon, she was going to lose it.
"Let me," she begged, her voice a desperate whisper. "Please."
Xaden finally turned his head to look at her, his dark eyes gleaming with amusement. He leaned closer, his lips brushing against her ear as he whispered, "Not yet."
Violet's pulse quickened, her breath coming in shallow, ragged bursts as his words washed over her. He was torturing her, dragging her to the very edge only to pull her back again and again. It was a game to him, one that he was playing masterfully, and she could feel herself unraveling under his control.
The hall was still bustling with noise, the clatter of dishes and the chatter of their comrades filling the air, but to Violet, it all felt distant, muted, as if the world had shrunk to just her and Xaden, the heat between them growing with each agonizing second.
His hand was still pressed against her, his fingers working through the fabric of her pants, rubbing her in slow, deliberate circles that made her thighs tremble. Every brush of his fingers sent a wave of pleasure crashing through her, building and building until she was certain she couldn't take much more. She was on the edge, teetering so close to release, and yet he refused to let her fall.
She squirmed in her seat, her fingers digging into the table as she tried to find some relief, but it was impossible. Xaden's grip tightened, holding her in place, and his fingers pressed harder against her, sending another jolt of pleasure straight to her core. Her body tensed, her breath catching in her throat as she felt the pressure mounting, her release so close she could taste it.
But then, just as she was about to fall over the edge, Xaden's hand stilled, his fingers stopping their movement completely.
Violet bit back a frustrated moan, her body trembling with the need for release. She shot him a look, her eyes burning with a mixture of frustration and desperation, but Xaden only smirked, clearly enjoying the effect he was having on her.
"Patience," he murmured, his voice low and teasing as he leaned closer, his breath hot against her ear. "You'll get what you want… eventually."
Her heart hammered in her chest, her entire body screaming for relief, but she knew he wasn't going to give in that easily. Xaden was always in control—always—and he loved nothing more than pushing her to her limits, seeing just how far he could take her before she broke.
Violet's breath came in short, ragged bursts, her fingers gripping the edge of the table so tightly that her knuckles turned white. She could feel her body trembling with need, her thighs pressing together as she tried to find some relief, but it was no use. Xaden had her exactly where he wanted her, and he wasn't about to let her off the hook.
"Xaden…" she whispered, her voice barely audible over the noise of the hall. "Please."
His smirk widened, and he leaned back slightly, his hand still resting against her but no longer moving. "Please what?"
She swallowed hard, her heart pounding in her chest as she tried to keep her composure. The last thing she wanted was for anyone to realize what was happening beneath the table, but it was getting harder and harder to maintain her facade with each passing second. Her body was on fire, her skin flushed with arousal, and the heat between her legs was almost unbearable.
"I need to—" She cut herself off, biting her lip to keep from moaning as her hips instinctively shifted, seeking friction against his hand. "I need to come."
Xaden chuckled softly, his fingers twitching against her, but still not giving her what she craved. "You're going to have to do better than that."
Her frustration flared, her body trembling with the effort of holding herself together. She could feel the tension coiling tighter and tighter in her core, every nerve in her body on edge, and the need for release was so overwhelming that it was almost painful.
"Please," she whispered, her voice a breathless plea. "Please, Xaden… I need it."
He was silent for a moment, his dark eyes watching her intently, and for a brief second, Violet thought he might finally give in. But then, just as quickly, his smirk returned, and his fingers began to move again, slowly, torturously, rubbing her through the fabric of her pants with just enough pressure to make her squirm.
"You'll get it," he murmured, his voice low and dangerous, "but only when I'm ready."
Violet's breath hitched, her entire body tensing as his fingers began their slow, deliberate movements once more. The sensation was overwhelming, her nerves already frayed from the relentless teasing, and she could feel herself spiraling closer and closer to the edge with each passing second.
But Xaden wasn't going to make it easy for her. His fingers moved in slow, maddening circles, applying just enough pressure to keep her on the brink but never enough to let her tip over the edge. It was infuriating, and yet, it was exactly what she needed—what she craved.
She bit her lip, trying to suppress the sounds threatening to escape her throat as her body trembled beneath his touch. The heat between her legs was unbearable, her muscles coiling tighter and tighter with every movement of his fingers, and she was so close—so godsdamned close—but he was still holding her back, keeping her on the edge.
Her breath came in short, desperate gasps, her heart pounding in her chest as she struggled to maintain her composure. The last thing she wanted was to make a scene, to let anyone see what was really happening beneath the table, but it was getting harder and harder to hold herself together. Her body was shaking with need, her mind fogged with desire, and every time she thought she might finally find release, Xaden would ease up, pulling her back from the brink.
"Xaden," she whimpered, her voice barely more than a breathless whisper. "Please… I can't take it anymore."
His smirk deepened, and he leaned closer, his lips brushing against her ear as he whispered, "I know."
And then, finally, his fingers pressed harder, moving with purpose now as he rubbed her in slow, deliberate strokes that sent waves of pleasure crashing through her. Violet's breath hitched, her body tensing as she felt her release building, the pressure mounting higher and higher with each movement of his hand.
She was so close—so godsdamned close—and this time, she knew he wasn't going to stop. His fingers moved faster, pressing harder, and Violet's body responded instinctively, her hips shifting against his hand as she chased the pleasure he was giving her.
"Come for me," Xaden whispered, his voice low and commanding.
That was all it took. Violet's body tensed, her breath catching in her throat as the orgasm crashed over her, sending shockwaves of pleasure through every inch of her. She bit down hard on her lip, suppressing the cry that threatened to escape as her body shook with the force of it, her thighs trembling as she rode the waves of ecstasy.
Xaden's hand didn't stop, his fingers still working her through her release, drawing out every last drop of pleasure until Violet was left trembling and spent, her body sagging back against the chair as the aftershocks rippled through her.
For a long moment, she couldn't breathe, couldn't think. The world around her was a blur, the noise of the hall distant and unimportant as she struggled to regain her composure. Her heart was still racing, her body trembling from the intensity of her release, and all she could do was lean back in her chair, trying to catch her breath.
Xaden, on the other hand, looked completely composed, as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. He withdrew his hand from beneath the table, casually picking up his drink and taking a slow sip, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction as he glanced over at her.
"Feel better?" he asked, his voice a soft, teasing purr.
Violet shot him a look, her cheeks flushed and her body still trembling from the aftershocks. She couldn't find the words to respond, her mind still foggy with the remnants of pleasure, but the look in her eyes said everything.
Xaden chuckled softly, his hand moving to rest on her knee once more, this time in a gesture of comfort rather than teasing. "You did well," he murmured, his voice low and affectionate. "I'm proud of you."
