"The wildfire is in desperate need for a new member," Seele commented as they walked through the cavern, looking for the so-called secret entrance that Sampo have.
"Your words hurt me, Ms. Seele! Aren't I the most reliable person around for this kind of job?" Sampo replied.
Seele groaned, resisting the urge to punch this guy in the face. "Stella, let's switch places," she muttered towards Stella walking beside Serval behind the two. "You're a certified weirdo, yea? Come on, let me walk with Serval,"
The two switched places and Seele visibly sighed in relief. She turned to Serval who looked pretty calm now. "Anyway, the name's Seele, what's your deal?"
"Serval, local mechanic and international rockstar," she smiled and turned to Seele. "Tell me, have my music ever made it to the underground?"
Seele raised an eyebrow. "Not that I know of, I think I'll heard about you if you're that famous," she smirked. "I'd like to hear you play, who else in it?"
"There's Pela, Dunn, Lynx," Serval chuckled a little. "And yeah, we gonna need one helluva concert after all this is over,"
"Looking forward to it, better not be some boring shit like hymn or somethin' like that," Seele replied.
"Oh it will blow your mind," Serval sighed a little. "Well, if I survive this of course…"
Seele tilted her head. "You're going to fight?"
"Yep, we all want a piece of that bitch," Serval closed her eyes for a bit. "She… used to be my friend, we had a long history together, Cocolia and I," she exhaled a deep breath and opened her eyes. "I don't know at what point she went bat shit insane, but… Fuck, I can't just let her get away with what she did…"
The two was silent for a moment, the cavern gets steeper and now they're walking up a narrow cave. "It's just right over here ladies!" Sampo said before he finally stopped in front of what seems to be a manhole cover. "Alright, this should lead us in the Snowplain far, from the city,"
The man opened the man hole, letting in the cold air and snow inside. Everyone quickly climbed out of the manhole and found themselves in the middle of a snow plains. "Your turn Stella! Where's the ship?"
Stella took out her room key and pressed a button on it. With a beeping sound, the Hyperion materialized into view, just a distance away from them. "There it is, Mr. Yang is waiting, let's go,"
Serval and Seele took a moment to gaze upon the Hyperion. A gigantic ship as large as the Qlipoth Fort itself. It's a structure straight out of science fiction novel, if it wasn't for all the events that happens in the last two days, they wouldn't even believe their eyes.
The airlock opens and a staircase appeared for them. They took the staircase and was greeted with a small lobby-like room and an elevator. A man sat on one of the chair in the room with a certain puppet sitting right beside him.
"Welcome back Stella," Welt greeted her kindly. "How's it for your first Trailseeking experience?"
Stella grinned. "It's been very fun Mr. Yang! We're totally Trailseeking this planet," she then took out the piece of paper Natasha gave her. "But it's not over yet, do you have any of these Mr. Yang?"
Welt Yang took a look at the list. "Hmm… we have… alternative to some of these…" he narrowed his eyes. "It's also requesting ranged weapons for troops," he handed the paper back to Stella. "We can provide some standard issue blasters,"
Stella nodded. "Sounds good,"
"Please wait here while I prepare all the things you need,"
"Wait!" Serval said suddenly. "Mr. Yang… I, have a request,"
Welt Yang paused and looked at Serval. "What is it, Miss…"
"It's Serval," she took a deep breath. "I, can I request some sort of weapon that I can use to fight in the same level of the Trailseekers?"
Welt folded his arms. "Something to give you extra normal ability, I'm afraid that's not something I can just give out Ms. Serval," he looked at the people around him. "I will not lie and say that such technology don't exist and we have no means to provide it, but the risk brought with it can be lethal,"
Serval's gaze hardened. "I'll pay the devil twice my soul to take her life,"
Welt sighed. "Ms. Serval, you are not thinking clearly… It would be irresponsible for me to,"
"Did you just refused a willing subject?" the puppet said suddenly. "Just yesterday you told me that you cannot risk testing the Valkyrie Battlesuits on the Trailseekers, I get it, those people are precious to you, but her?" Herta stood up. "What do you think Serval? Best case you'd be crippled for life, but you should be on equal grounds with Stella with it,"
Serval smirked. "I'm all yours Madam Herta,"
"Alright," Herta nudged Welt's rib. "And you, Welt Yang, are being too much of a big softie, are you really the same guy who said that he's gonna slay the Aeons?"
Welt sighed a little. "Madam Herta, you knew what happened to those who used these battlesuits," he turned to Serval. "These powers brought nothing but death and suffering to the wearer,"
"Sounds like a walk in the park,"
"That's the spirit," Herta took Serval's hand. "Anyway, follow me! Let's get you your measurement,"
The rest of the group watched as Serval and Herta vanished into the elevator. Welt Yang turned to the rest of the group. "It would take an entire day for us to prepare the Valkyrie Battlesuit, you can go ahead and return for now. Serval and I will return with the weapons tomorrow,"
