Ryota's voice echoed out after he had already disappeared. The Heroes didn't want to follow his command, but they had no choice in the matter. Reluctantly and with many grievances, a couple of them walked over to the trash can and picked it up. "I hate this," one of them mumbled. "I just wish we could return to our previous world—to the way that things once were. I don't even care about this being like a game anymore… I-I just want to go home…"
While struggling to get up off the ground, Kenji understood well what his classmate was saying. And even as an A-Rank Hero, he wanted to return to Earth, to his family and friends. But to do that, they had to defeat the Demon King. Simply put, neither he nor the others had any choice in the matter; they were to keep fighting until either they died or the Demon King died.
