After checking out his gains, Max made his way to the meeting room, where everyone was already waiting and standing. Once he entered, he saw them playing with the Tesseract Cube.
They kept looking at the Cube as they saw a Lich hold the cube only to disintegrate moments later.
As they saw him enter MJ asked " What the heck is this thing?"
Lumia chimed in too and said "The skeletons and other undead can't hold it for long. They always die when they touch it."
She then added "Even the zombified soldiers and higher-ranked undead like the liches? They all die just from holding the cube."
Lumia continued. " No matter how powerful the undead, the Tesseract's energy seems to overwhelm them, destroying their bodies completely after a short time."
"It's normal," Max shrugged upon hearing the concerns. "It's a powerful artifact. That's to be expected." Without hesitation, he stepped forward and grabbed the Tesseract cube.
"What are you doing?!" Lumia shrieked, her voice rising in alarm.
"Relax. I'm strong enough to handle it," Max replied calmly. He could handle multiple Infinity Stones at once without risking death, so he was confident in his ability to deal with this single one.
"It's actually just another piece of an incredibly useful artifact," Max explained as he held the cube aloft. Channeling his energy, he shattered the outer casing, revealing a dark blue gem emanating from within.
"It's the stone I saw in my vision," Peter muttered softly, his gaze fixed on the glowing gem.
"What do you mean?" Max asked, turning to look at Peter intently. "Tell me everything."
Peter hesitated for a moment, then began explaining. "Earlier, when I was trying to dominate the cube's power and break it apart, I had a vision. I saw myself standing in front of a massive cosmic structure. There were six stones, just like this one."
"You saw the Infinity Stones," Max stated, his tone serious. Holding the blue gem in his hand, he let its energy flow through him. As it did, his senses expanded, and he felt the immense power within. It was unlike anything else—pure energy capable of reshaping space around him and he felt he could also expand his area of control of he focuses on it..
"Now this is addictive" Max mumbled as he continued " You see this gem, it is one of the six powerful artifacts called the Infinity stones" he said as he continued after a pause " they give overwhelming amount of power to their wielder, enough to even kill the one who are not powerful enough to hold it"
"This one is the Space Stone. It gives the power to control space," Max explained, holding the gem up for everyone to see.
Lumia shrugged. "So, nothing new for you. You can already control space," she said nonchalantly, and several others nodded in agreement.
Harry stepped forward, his gaze fixed on the gem with determination. "So, are you planning to give it to us?" he asked, his tone filled with anticipation.
Max waved his hand, the stone disappearing into his inventory. "Nope," he said casually. "You guys aren't strong enough to handle it yet. The most you'd achieve is setting off some blurry flames before burning yourselves out."
Harry frowned but refused to back down. "We can already destroy an island with a punch. How is that not enough?"
Max smirked, turning his gaze to Harry. "Even if you could destroy a continent with one swing, you still wouldn't be ready to hold it. This kind of power isn't just about brute force," he said firmly.
Harry fell silent, his earlier confidence dimmed by Max's words. The room grew quiet as the reality of what the Infinity Stones represented sank in. Max's control over such immense power was a stark reminder of how far they all still had to go.
"But relax, you guys can still grow. And remember, there are six Infinity Stones—and six of you," Max said, looking at them with a faint smile. He truly didn't need the full set himself, especially knowing that even with all six stones, there were beings out there far more powerful, who could defeat someone wielding them all.
And his Night Monarch Legacy was powerful enough that, at its peak, the Night Monarch could control several entire cosmos. Max knew he simply needed to wait, grow stronger, and unlock more of his powers while learning the full extent of his legacy. Then even if someone with full set of Infinity stones come at him, he could kill them all easily.
He glanced around at the group—Peter, Harry, Flash, MJ, Gwen, and Lumia.
"You said this one is the Space Stone. What about the rest? Where are they?" Flash asked, his curiosity piqued.
Max nodded thoughtfully. "The six Infinity Stones are: Space—which we now have; Mind—which we also have," he said, pulling out Loki's staff. "This staff contains the Mind Stone," he explained before putting it back in his inventory. "Then there's the Time Stone, Power Stone, Soul Stone, and finally, the Reality Stone," Max said, listing them off.
"When did you get the staff?" MJ asked, surprised by how casually Max handled it.
"I found it a long time ago, even before you guys got your powers," Max replied. His tone was calm, but his words carried the weight of how long he had been preparing for the challenges ahead.
The group nodded, processing his words, when Harry asked, "The Space Stone can control space, so if the others are similar, doesn't that mean the wielder of all the Stones is the most powerful?"
Max shook his head. "Not quite. While the wielder would gain immense power, using the Stones recklessly—especially to alter the past—would invite the wrath of forces far beyond your understanding. Trust me, no one dares to meddle with time lightly."
"How powerful are we talking?" MJ asked curiously.
Max glanced at her and replied with a calm but weighty tone, "Powerful enough to create or destroy planets... even entire galaxies." His words hung in the air, leaving the group stunned.
