The ground was densely covered with electric currents. Sasuke's strength was simply terrifying!
Kiba Inuzuka and Shino Aburame, even combined, were no match for him.
Kurenai Yuhi and Hinata, standing by, were completely stunned.
"Is this really a Genin?" Kurenai muttered, her eyes wide in disbelief, "Even the elite jonin of Konoha Village aren't this powerful!"
Sasuke had no intention of fighting initially, but Inuzuka Kiba, driven by impulsiveness and resentment towards Sasuke's arrogance, forced his hand. Since that was the case, Sasuke decided to show them just how powerful he really was.
'So strong...' Hinata thought to herself, watching in awe.
Up until now, her impression of Sasuke was that he was mostly...lustful, always acting as if he wanted to devour her with his eyes, constantly seeking physical contact. Earlier that morning, while having breakfast together, she had heard him brag about his strength being on par with the Third Hokage. At the time, even with the display of his Sharingan, it hadn't seemed as impressive as now, watching him decimate Kiba and Shino, then unleash his Lightning Release: Chidori.
'Maybe... Sasuke... really is amazing.'
As the captain of Team 8, Kurenai Yuhi stepped forward, trying to regain control of the situation, "Sasuke, that's enough." She said firmly.
Sasuke turned to her, a glint in his eyes. He had always been attracted to beautiful women like Hinata, Sakura, and Ino. But mature beauties like Ayame from Ichiraku Ramen and Mizuki's fiancée, Tsubaki, had a certain allure. Even among them, none compared to Kurenai Yuhi. She was, after all, one of Konoha's rare, beautiful jonin.
Sasuke wasn't going to let this opportunity slip away, "Kurenai-sensei, if you're not satisfied, we can settle this with a sparring match." Sasuke said, a cocky smile playing on his lips.
But his mind quickly shifted to a different plan. He wanted Kurenai—wanted her in his harem—but not in front of Kiba, Shino, or especially Hinata. Hinata had just begun to establish a close relationship with him, and unlike Sakura or Ino, she hadn't always been infatuated with him.
He needed to be careful, or he might disappoint her. **Not yet.**
He smiled, stepping back, "On second thought, let's save the sparring match for later... when we're alone."
Kurenai narrowed her eyes at his words but didn't push further, "Fine. Team 8, we'll take a mission for today," she said, turning back to her team.
Early missions for Genin teams were typically small tasks: weeding, picking up trash, or retrieving lost pets. Every ninja had to start small; major missions would come in time.
Kurenai, still somewhat irritated by Sasuke's arrogance, was about to say something, but she held her tongue. There were likely secrets about Sasuke that she wasn't privy to, especially in front of Kiba and Shino.
She could never have imagined, however, that Sasuke's thoughts had already set her in his sights.
In the original series, Yuhi Kurenai didn't have much screen time, but she left an impression. She remained single for a long time, eventually developing feelings for Asuma Sarutobi in *Naruto: Shippuden.* Sadly, before they could marry, Asuma was killed by Akatsuki.
Watching that, Sasuke had always felt it was a shame.
'But now, I, Sasuke—reborn and determined to form a harem—won't let that happen. Sorry, Asuma, even if you're still alive, your future wife is mine now!'
Kurenai looked at Hinata with concern, "Hinata, I don't want to interfere with your personal matters, but as your team leader, it's my responsibility to look out for you."
She then turned to Kiba and Shino, "You two need to be less impulsive. Uchiha Sasuke's strength isn't something you can contend with. Head to the Hokage's office and take on a small mission to gain some experience."
Kiba and Shino glanced at Sasuke, still visibly shaken by the battle.
Sasuke, noticing this, pulled out some money and handed it to them, "No hard feelings. Hinata is your teammate, but she's also my woman. Take care of her, and don't let her do any tiring or painful work."
Kiba's face twisted with anger, "Who do you think you are—!"
Shino, ever the calmer of the two, held Kiba back, "Hinata is our teammate. We'll take care of her. There's no need for your money, Sasuke."
Sasuke sighed, seeing their reluctance, "You'll need it eventually. Just remember, Hinata isn't allowed to do any dirty work. Understood?"
As he spoke, his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan flared to life. Kiba and Shino's expressions slackened, their resistance melting away under the subtle genjutsu.
They both nodded mechanically, "Understood. We'll protect Hinata at all costs."
Hinata, wide-eyed, couldn't believe what she was hearing, "Sasuke… why do you have to make things so complicated?"
Sasuke turned to her, a soft smile on his lips, "I don't want you to suffer. You're mine now, Hinata. I want you to be happy, always. You can only bully others, not be bullied yourself."
Hinata, despite her irritation at his overbearing nature, felt a warmth in her chest. This was the first time she truly felt protected by someone like this.
"Okay, go ahead." Sasuke whispered, leaning close to her ear, "By the way, I used a little genjutsu on Kiba and Shino. Don't worry, they'll treat you like royalty from now on."
'Genjutsu?' Hinata thought, shuddering. That was terrifying, "Sasuke…" She muttered, half scolding him, but half intrigued by his protectiveness.
Sasuke chuckled and pulled away, "Unless you'd rather stop being a ninja and become my full-time wife?"
Hinata immediately fell silent.
As Hinata, Kiba, and Shino left, Sasuke's gaze turned to Kurenai, a playful smile tugging at his lips.
"Now, Kurenai-sensei." Sasuke said, his voice full of mischief, "It's our turn."
Kurenai was an experienced jonin, but there was something about Sasuke that made her uneasy. Despite his handsome appearance and immense power, she couldn't shake the feeling that something about him was... wrong. He wasn't a normal young man, that much was certain.
Her instincts told her to be wary of him.
Unfortunately for Kurenai, her instincts were right. Sasuke wasn't the kind of man to play by the rules. He spread his hands casually, a smirk on his face.
"Now that Hinata and the others are gone." Sasuke said, stepping closer, "How about that sparring match?"
