Alpha Arlo Bianchi - POV
"Beta Martini, why wasn't I surprised?" I spoke out loud as I stepped away from the rogue and looked at the wall behind me.
"Why did he want Isabella dead?" I asked the rogue when I saw his eyes widen in fear.
"I…I don't know, Al…Alpha." he stammered out in pain, but I could clearly see that he was lying to me.
"I don't like liars. Now, you can either tell me the truth, or we can continue playing with my tools." I told him in a cold tone when he gulped and looked around the room. There was absolutely no escape from me right now, and I knew that the longer he delays to tell them the truth it would only make matters worse for him.
"Be…because I didn't finish the job the first time," he muttered, and this made a frown appear on my face.
"The first time?" I asked him, and he nodded his head.
"I was hired to kill Isabella before, but instead, I killed her sister. And Beta Martini wants me to complete this job."
